Fake Hospital with fake doctors also in the nungwi branch. They charge special prices for wazungu (foreigners). For consultation they charge more than 150$ and a blood test another 150$. They give you a lot of medication that doesnt fit to your disease only to make more money. They dont want to hand over the Prescription so that you can buy the medication at a cheaper pharmacy and sell to you for 5 times the price. It is a fake place. If they would give to you the Prescription and anamnesis paper you could even accuse them in front of court because of false treatment and scam.

I highly recommend this hospital and Pharmacy! From DSM I was scared coming to cure many things I had but the Dr Mehta is such a good professional. He takes time to explain you everything, he is very kind and respectful. The team is handling is just a gem, they made a perfect bandage to me and gave me the right and perfect medicine (like in France!) that I needed. I experienced an allergic reaction from an unknown source and Dr Mehta could not have taken better care of me. His facilities are clean and professional. His hospital in Paje is the only facility in town that is up to Western standards. Couldn't recommend more highly.

We had an injured kid, tried two heath care centers that my wife could bare with the kind service they offer the receptionist are not interested at all. But when we got to Dr Mehta, just the way we were received we knew we were at the right place. My son was handled with extraordinary care. We don't stay for a long to get everything finished. I know being a doctor isn't an easy job and I really appreciate what Dr Mehta with his team have done for my son. I recommend this place hundred percent.

Two years back I cut my foot badly at night walking on the Jambiani beach and some people called for help. Dr. Mehta came after almost 1.5 hours late, telling me he was the only Doc on the east side of the island, while there was another Doctor just 10 mins drive away, which I didn't know back then (So he didn't tell the truth). He charged a lot of money, stitching me up on a chair. My partner saw still sand inside the wound, but he said no problem and stitched it back together. 10 days later the foot was severely infected and the other doctor near Jambiani had to cut it open again. Whatever was going on with Dr. M. that night was very poor and unprofessional, besides the 500usd cost, which should have been 50$. Not recommended at all.

Good reactivity ! I got an appointment quickly. Dr Mehta’s hospital is clean and the personnel very nice. It was very convenient to be able to get medication in Paje and not having to go to Stone Town which is at more than 1 hour driving.

I was in Stone Town from September 23rd to October 1st 2022, following my Kilimanjaro hike. I had some residual issues post-hike and saw Dr. Mehta. He checked me, gave me certain prescriptions and non-prescriptions that addressed 90% of my issues. Really happy with the service!

In the past weeks, my already poor health took a turn for the worse. Unable to get the usual medical attention that I much needed (in town), my loved ones urgently took me to Dr Mehta's in Paje. Since I had called the clinic on my way there, they were expecting me and ready for my arrival. They didn't waste a second in settling me in, making sure I was calming down, and then starting the ball rolling with samples and blood works. Immediately, Dr Mehta and his staff called for basic tests in order to sooth my pain. (Some of those very basic tests had been completely ignored and overlooked at the other health facility in town). I have a long road to recovery ahead of me but thanks to Dr Mehta's team, their concerns, treatments and diligence, my life of the past few days has been bearable. More is yet to come but I intent to return to Dr Mehta's clinic, where the staff is kind, calm, considerate, an smiling.
