Loved every minute of this stay! When we came to Blu Marlin it appeared that it will be only us 2 and staff. I have to say that I was positively shocked as not many hotels would open for business for only two people for 2 weeks! Well that’s called great customer service. We had beautiful room with sea view access to pool and 10km long beach for walks, runs and sunbathing. Staff was very helpful and exceptionally nice. 2 chefs were cooking delicious meals and desserts. Place was super clean and we had everything what we needed even though it was only 2 of us. Eddie - manager helped us book many trips so we were able to see the beautiful Zanzibar in and out. We had great talks with Abdulla and Eddie they have told us a lot about the local culture and traditions what we are really grateful for. Overall I will say that I will be back and I would recommend this hotel to all: singles, couples, families, older and younger ppl! Superb time!

Accommodation was very pleasant at first glance on the booking pages. The situation on the spot was completely different. It was impossible to swim on the beaches because it was very dirty. The cleanliness of the hotel was shocking. See. Attached photo. Although the dinners were mostly good, the breakfasts were shocking. The worst, however, was the behavior of the hotel owner. A very arrogant Italian, who also minded the fact that we were accommodated there at all. Over the course of a day, one felt the file there as a forced stay rather than a vacation. Nothing was allowed, own drink, food. For every thing a person brought to the hotel he had to pay a 50% fine: D. I haven't seen that anywhere else. So when we had a glass of wine on the balcony with my friends in the evening, the next day we were told that we had to pay a $ 100 fine or the owner would call the police and we would pay twice as much. We absolutely did not understand and wanted to move. It was not only our impression, but when we asked the hosts, they confirmed that this hotel is really very marked by the behavior of the owner. So never again!

Worst experience in my life, we stayed for 2 nights and really regret. The rooms were small and dirty. No room service was provided during our stay, our rooms smelled like a garbage. The owners were discriminative and very rude, no welcoming at all, no greetings, did not ask how our stay is going. Always behind our back with their senseless rules. No food was allowed from outside, even they don't allow you to bring water from outside and force you to buy from them at higher price. I have never seen such rules anywhere. They treat their staff like slaves and us like they owe us something. I highly advice DO NOT GO IN THIS RESORT. 1 Star 🌟 is already enough if i had to give my personal ratings I would give 0.00001 ⭐.

On check-in you are welcomed with a beverage which is mango juice, lovely and refreshing. Staff is very friendly, Eddie, Addullah and Tatu made the stay very pleasant.Cleaning is done every day, hotel is very clean. Amazing View Food can be monotonous if you take the full package, breakfast standard, only chocolate croissant, only toasted bread...if you do ask for plain bread some days you get some days you don't.Mango juice for breakfast, tea and coffee available Lunch and dinner consists of an appetizer, main meal and fruits for dessert, which is filling, you never go hungry. In Zanzibar they love octopus, so on a daily we had octopus... octopus everything. Bare in mind drinks for dinner/lunch are charged separately from the package whether it's alcoholic or non-alcoholic. No water in the rooms, so you need to purchase from the hotel which is 2dollars a bottle of 1.5litre...best buy water at local market before. A board game is available at the bar sitting area where there is a TV and some couches to relax and enjoy Hotel offers some travel packages, totally convenient. It's an Italian family owned hotel, they stay there and have lunch and dinner with you(at their own set table), they don't interact much with thier clients just a hello very day, maybe it's the language barrier.. don't know. Not too much noise around... it's relaxing and calming. If you like a peaceful retreat this is the place for you.

I have been living with my family in this hotel for more than two months, since there is no way to return to Ukraine because of the war. Lovely hotel, staff and very attentive and helpful owners. Large pool and beautiful grounds. One day, a noisy company of Indian or Tanzanian guys drove into the hotel, who interfered with the hotel guests, made noise, drank alcoholic beverages. They did not respond to the comments of the hotel owners. The next day, we checked out of the hotel and put bad marks on Google maps. Therefore, do not believe the bad reviews from them. The hotel is wonderful! Highly recommend.

I was there on a business trip for 2 weeks and worked remotely, the Wi-Fi was great for my calls and I was able to concentrate on my projects. I enjoyed my stay here, the room was perfectly comfortable and the food carefully cooked each time, they even helped me with any special request. I fully recommend this beach resort for relaxing solo trips!

Chose this place for a quick getaway during the weekend and my friends and I had the best time at the beach, the volleyball net set in the ocean is great! We had a family room which was super spacious and perfect for our group. The hosts were more than attentive and helped with any request, will sure return soon.

We stayed in Blu Marlin for 2 nights. Although the hotel isn't all that fancy but it was an AMAZING stay. The staff are unbelievably friendly they radiate positivity every morning. Very chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Also the hotel is in a nice area and the local bar (the bridge) next to it is awesome has parties on Sundays & Wednesdays.

Saw this resort on TikTok and I had to give it a try, I have to say I was not disappointed! The rooms are extra nice with local art details and the whole place promotes art and art and experiences. The owner is very friendly and she told me about how they source their food from the local community and how they value working in a great team with everyone. I am very happy with my short stay at this resort and will sure return soon!

🫤 it's not worth it! Room - older, ugly, dirty. The closet door was falling off and the bathroom door was almost impossible to close. Windows size about 90x90cm - it felt like a shack to us. They have other nicer rooms with big windows and they are supposedly renovated. be careful which room you choo...
