I could put a single star, but the place is nice and clean, employ them kind and helpful, only I advise you not to leave a review that does not please the boss, we have been insulting and threatening phisically and getting kicked out of the establishment after our 2nd direct booking, the equipment does not work too much, fridge, air conditioning, electricity, seawater shower, no fresh water, the food does not speak about it, we have ordered 2 hamburgers the bread was all hard and green, moldy in fact, the breakfast the fruit juice Cut in the water, but if you ask for juice without water, you will be answered no, mosquito net on the bed to be drilled, so not used for nothing, I had only specified that the equipment was to be renovated but after the threats against us I detail a little, our 1st reservation was on booking at a certain price, for the 2nd reservation it asks us a higher rate than the booking amount and told us the tourist tax was free, al ors which had increased the bill .... But we made the price displayed on booking after negotiation

It's in the middle of nowhere. If you want to blob on a lonely beach this might be it. Plumbing was interesting. Food was really iffy too.

Very friendly staff and located right on the beach. Very good breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh delicious juice, fruit platter and choice of different types of eggs or pancake. Good service. Food in the restaurant was also good with vegetarian options, but not that cheap. Air conditioner in the rooms and small pool in front were helpful for freshen up in hot days.

It could be a good accommodation for the price. It's located directly at the beachfront and the staff is really nice. Unfortunately, there are too many "gotchas". The food is overpriced and it's not always fresh. On one occasion, our meal was even served with peanuts instead of cashews as declared. It wasn't a big deal for us but some people could get into serious troubles because of that. Our room was not exactly clean, there were even spider nets with spiders under the bed. I'm pretty sure they were not dangerous but it's not what you expect from a regularly cleaned room. Yes, it was a budget room but that's not an excuse. I'd really like to give them more two stars because of the location and staff but until they pay attention to these sometimes potentially dangerous "details" I can't. Sorry.

We really enjoyed this place! Quiet, private and beautiful. It's not a good place for group of friends or families, but it's perfect for couples or small groups of friends or family members who looks for great views, for quite, and for relaxation. Cons: The prices for food and drinks are high. Quite isolated (it can be also a pross) Pros: The staff is really nice, the place is clean, and the rooms are big and comfy. The location is very good if you go to other attractions on the island. The best sunrises!

Kaure Sand lodge is a little jewel on the Zanzibarian East Coast. We really loved our stay in a sweet bungalow near the calm beach front. It’s literally like the beach is your living room and, in case it's low tide, there is also a nice pool to use. The staff and the owner of this place are always there to help you and the food is delicious. They have a good internet connection (better than the most of the hotels here, though also here streaming or videocalling can become difficult), and a perfectly working AC. The rooms are always clean because you get room service at least once a day and the beautiful gardens are kept in shape with lots of effort and love for detail. For individual travellers who do not need high-end luxury and who like to live close to the village with its local shops and restaurants, Kaure is the perfect choice.

The budget friendly accommodation as long as you're not going to visit Stone Town daily. The beach is very nice and the swimming pool though small is very useful.

Quiet place, beautiful location, lovely staff. The beachfront rooms and terraces are spacious.
