It's a magnificent Lodge with ten suits rooms set up on a rocky outcrop offering a beautiful view of a seasonal river known as Arugusinyai river (from Maa language meaning sand river) that flows right in front of the balcony. Lots of animal are attracted to water from this river and will come right under the swimming pool's water hole to drink. The property is inside the privete concession with a great divesity of animals like Ellephants, Lions,Leopards, Buffaloes, Hippos and girrafes to mention few that are enjoyed in a great privacy and unique style. Its a place your dreams comes true, life time memories are made and the connection to nature born.

Best hotel we’ve been to in years! Wonderful location & wildlife but it’s the staff that makes it a most amazing place. Definitely recommend & definitely will come again.

The gateway to EDEN! Our stay was one I will never forget. The food, accommodations, wild life and most importantly the staff were as beautiful and welcoming as they could possibly be.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mwiba Lodge in Tanzania last year, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The service from the moment we arrived till our departure was top-notch, a perfect blend of professionalism and heartfelt warmth. Our dedicated butler, Vincent, catered to our every need with incredible attention to detail, ensuring our stay was both comfortable and luxurious. The private tour guide, Ebenezer, stood out for his deep knowledge and passionate storytelling, enriching our wildlife viewing experiences. A highlight of our stay was the sunset viewing arranged just for us. As we watched the day end with a kaleidoscope of colors filling the sky, we felt the extraordinary enchantment of the African wilderness. The culinary experience was consistently impressive, with meals that were truly 10 out of 10. Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients were skillfully transformed into delightful gastronomic adventures. We were never left wanting. A memorable part of our trip was the opportunity to interact with a local tribe, the last hunters and gatherers of their kind. This poignant experience touched our souls, reminding us of our roots and the fundamental connections we share as humans. The wildlife viewing was exceptional. We were able to get up close to lions, leopards, and various other animals in their natural habitat, under the safe and knowledgeable guidance of our tour guide. Our accommodations were a luxurious tent that provided an intimate connection with nature. Waking up to sightings of elephants and other wildlife was a dream come true, truly a thrilling encounter with the wild. In conclusion, our stay at Mwiba Lodge was an incredible adventure, an immersion in Tanzanian wildlife, culture, and hospitality. This place is a gem that provides an unforgettable journey for all who are fortunate enough to visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Mwiba Lodge to anyone seeking the ultimate safari experience in Tanzania.

I feel so lucky that we found this lodge. It is incredible. From the people, the safari, the sundowners over the watering hole, this animals and then the food throughout. We will absolutely be coming back here. To have such an amazing place in such a remote location is astounding and the work they are doing with the conservancy area as well as the local community is brilliant.

This was by far the best stay of our 3 week trip. Wonderful, attentive staff. A/C and fans in the room. Complementary massages and a really nice gym. Remarkably clean rooms. The waitstaff was unparalleled. They remembered which of our 8 person group preferred still water to sparkling after just one meal. Such wonderful staff. Highly recommend!
