A fantastic place for local Tanzanian food. There are mostly decent local people visiting the restaurant and the food is really authentic. The service is really great and very friendly staff. Saturday you have premiere league football on a big screen.

Location is central and setup is very social. Good for lunch and dinner. Focus is on local cuisine mainly bbq. Cool thing is you can order take away if you don't want to dine in

Not sure if it’s because I am a foreigner, but multiple tables around me arrived after me, enjoyed their lunch, and left, while I waited over an hour to get my meal and was told by the server a few times to be patient. The manager was informed, and did apologize, but ultimately I had to leave before getting anything to eat because I had a flight to catch. My hotel had recommended this place based on the food, but unfortunately I am unable to comment on that.

Popular restaurant, especially on sunday when football is on. Nice outdoor seating, about 4 big screens to watch german, english or tanzanian football. It was busy, so we waited quite a while for the food. But when it came it was delicious!

Really nice night atmosphere for group events! The food came quick and was well made! The night scene was nice and family friendly with lights, music and sports bar tvs. There’s a range of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! I definitely recommend the chicken and chips! Great samosas too :)

After such a hangover or tiresome in Arusha I would prefer to go at uzunguni and have a hot nice soup called michemsho of any either meat or chicken taste so nice and also a nice barbecue in town I had my nice meal today thanks so much for uzunguni team making sure me and my girlfriend had such a nice meal there

Nice local food experience. They have chicken, beef, fish (tilapia). Unfortunately, no goat during our visit. The beef was overdone, chicken was delicious, and fish was ok (a bit dry). Go and try the banana as well! Note: cash only! We didnt realise that until payment time...we had to use USD.

Juice and the chips are tasty. The goat ribs and the fish were unfortunately very over cooked and therefore dry. The chicken stomach was dry and chewy. So in total for that it was a little bit too pricy. The waiters were really nice and the local itself and the toilets were clean.

This is quite the restaurant. The food was amazing. I had kuku mnavu which is chicken covered in greens. The waiters were quite friendly and took their time explaining the different meals available. The atmosphere is quite serene. I went here on a weekday so that may have influence it. It was not packed.

Very great restaurant in Arusha, The food was amazing and the environment is very cool. If you're visiting Arusha or just passing by, this is highly recommended. Famous place apparently and this has a toll on quality of service for newcomers, I could not know or be guided on how to get my dinner... I believe staff could be trained more on how to welcome and direct customers, specially new ones... That said, food was wonderful and generously dished ,plus affordable... the waiter who "rescued" me while I was struggling to get settled, was fine and I am grateful to him for saying my experience to the restaurant :) .
