LeGanga has an excellent selection of baby items, spices, pasta, rice, liquor, soda and household supplies. My family and I checked grocery stores in and around Arusha and decided that LaGanga is the best. Their staff is friendly and you can pay with shillings, USdollars or credit cards. There is a small well stocked produce stand in the parking lot.

This place is easy to get to. A bit over priced but has most things. The staff are very helpful, especially Frank (Thanks Buddy for all your help). THEY DO NOT even ATTEMPT to recycle. Update; we bought a big refillable water with tap already installed. BUT..They sold me a bottle with a hole in the side. This leaked nearly 5litre over our kitchen. So Then we made a call to the manufacturers and the shop. The shop did not apologise but did say we could go ALL the way back there and exchange the bottle. So we opted for a different bottle with a separate pump. But they didn't have the pump. So we ordered it and waited for a phone call to tell us when the pump arrived, 2 days later. But NO phone call. Not a great help. This..Bottle of water ended costing us an extra 14000 Tzsh. Money 💰we could have used on other things.

With the produce stand outside the supermarket, it is almost a one-stop shop. Sometimes you might not find the regular brands that you are used to until they restock. Generally, it is a good store to get everyday groceries and so much including tools.

Seems to have a lot of what you’d need for a small grocery store. From food, groceries, equipment, and cleaning supplies.

Basic but cool, in an accessible location too

Need to add more of the choice and try to reduce the price some how, many things price is sometime higher than normal street shops
