We always will remember this experience because I prepared a marriage proposal on the air balloon. Everything was smooth and the pilot seems a very nice person. As well the rest of the crew. Thanks a lot guys, we will always have a video filmed by one of you! 🇪🇸🥰 The experience is expensive, but it deserve a try once in your life, and Tanzania is the best place to do it!

Great service. Fun and safe adventure (both balloon safety and covid safety), very professional, brunch was awesome too!

This was such a magical experience. We loved every bit of it and was well worth the 4am wake up. Seeing the vastness of the Serengeti from the sky was well worth the experience. The beautiful story of how the balloon first came about and the toasting of the champagne made the experience even more magical. After the balloon safari you have breakfast in the middle of the Serengeti and receive a certificate. The food was great and every single person involved from the pilot to the chef and waiters were all super friendly and professional. If you’re ever in the Serengeti, book yourself one of these balloon safaris. It is worth the price!

One of the coolest experiences of my life! My partner was very nervous to die in a fiery balloon death, but we felt very safe the whole time. He loved it so much and it ended up being one of his favorite parts of our trip! Captain Frank was great and the breakfast after was above and beyond. So much fun and I would absolutely do it again and recommend it to everyone!

I went back in January of 2007. It was an absolutely AMAZING experience - one I've treasured and always will. Worth EVERY penny. Beautiful way to experience the Serengeti. They took great care of us and provided an unforgettable adventure and an amazing champagne toast and breakfast afterwards. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it! So grateful I did.

What an experience!!! We decided to book the Serengeti Ballon experience with some doubts due to the high price. But honestly, it worth it. This is once in a lifetime experience that you will always remember. The crew led by Jason, and all the team made us feel special and ensure that we enjoyed each of the minutes there. Nothing like seeing the sunrise while flying enjoying the silence of serengeti and its incredible landscapes! And yes animals, but this is wildlife you cannot expect anything (just saw some comments disappointed about that...), just relax and enjoy the moment!

One of the best experiences on our trip to Africa. Also, the first time ever flying in a hot air balloon. Truly amazing experience to see the vast view of the Serengeti as you quietly pass overhead of zebra, lions, giraffe, and all the other animals. The equipment and balloon were in great shape and the crew and pilot were top notch.

My flight with my friend Esmie with Serengeti Balloon Safaris was the most incredible experience, the views were amazing, it was such a treat to see all the wildlife and landscape from up high and bathed in sunshine. Our pilot Zumo was very skilled, i had no idea a balloon could be rotated so precisely, i reckon the hippos had just as good a view of us as we did of them! While chatting with him after landing, it was rather surreal to discover that our balloon was made in my home city of Bristol, UK, by good ol' Cameron Balloons!! Following our flight we were treated to a glass of bubbly and then a wonderful breakfast while chatting with our fellow basket mates in such a stunning location! I highly recommend a flight with these guys - very professional! My only negative comment (4 stars not 5) is regarding the admin - we were required to meet a rep the previous day which was a little awkward given our schedule and the information could have been easily given by phone or email.

Great experience on baloon Safari in the serengeti national park. All of our clients served by the Serengeti baloon Safari enjoyed moment band enough and clear information on the park and wildlife. Great value for money.

Johnny our pilot was amazing. This is an experience, not just a hot air baloon ride. I am a bilateral amputee below the knees. The staff were super helpful in helping me get into the basket and out. I could sit if I was tired but the flight was so much fun I never sat down! This is one of the largest baloons in the world and it is set up so everyone can see. As Johnny said on the pre-flight, everyone has a first class seat. Our pilot gave us the history of flight and lighter than air aircraft and described why Chamagne is so associated with flight. It was a real treat. I have flown in hot air baloons before but this was once in a lifetime. Worth the price, I would do it again in a heart-beat.

An unforgettable experience! We did a sunrise hot air balloon from the Seronera area and our pilot, Johnathan, was excellent! He easily made sure we all knew what to do - pointed out animals and game to us and provided binoculars - and enjoyed an outdoor breakfast in the bush with us after our experience. I've never used a basket like we did - where it is laid flat and you have to climb into it - but it was fun and easy to use and we felt safe the entire time. After we completed our experience - we were able to purchase a few items as keepsakes, given a certificate, and even emailed photos a few days later. Unforgettable. Highly recommend this unique experience if you are able to participate in one of these safari balloon experiences while in the Serengeti.

We had an amazing experience on our balloon safari in Western (Grumeti) Serengeti on June 4, 2023. Captain Mohamed Masudi was a great pilot and guide...very knowledgeable! We celebrated after the ride with a delicious breakfast in the bush.

This was an absolutely unreal experience that felt straight out of a postcard or brochure. Sometimes you wonder if pictures you see online or in advertising material are cherry picked from perfect conditions, but in this case, the experience really lives up to the hype. The serene experience and breathtaking views are above and beyond everything you could imagine. We spent a little over an hour in the air, with some of it at lower heights to see the animals better and some of it at high heights. After we landed, they had a champagne toast (in custom bottles!) and then we drove to meet the groups from the other balloons for breakfast. (Menu options in one of the photos.) One thing to be aware of is that the balloon takes off and lands on its side, so everyone has to crawl in and out. To land, it skips on the ground a few times before coming to a stop and tipping over for exit. Our pilot was very experienced so it was pretty smooth, but it just wasn't something we were aware of ahead of time.

We had a beautiful ride and Captain Conrad was a fantastic pilot! The views and animal sightings were Incredible! Riziki our driver and overall support of the balloons was professional and courteous and knowledgeable! He picked us and drove us 3 hours in the dark to the takeoff spot. Along the way he spoofed a pride of lions for us to see! Thanks to all! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience - absolutely surreal. And pictures just don’t do it justice! Everything from start to finish was like a well oiled machine - from pickup in the morning to the tea before the balloon ride all the way to breakfast and drop off at the end. Barry was also a great pilot and entertaining the whole way!

One of the most magical experiences and worth every penny! The hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti was one of the highlights of our trip. Our pilot Kevin was knowledgeable and professional and pointed out animals to us in the air and smoothly landed the balloon. A champagne breakfast in the bush topped off the beginning of a great day! I would highly recommend adding a hot air balloon ride to your Serengeti safari experience, you won’t regret it!

As someone who is afraid of heights, I was hesitant to get in a hot air balloon. However, this experience was a one-of-a-kind, out of this world adventure. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The ride was incredibly smooth and I felt completely secure with all the safety measures they take. I would give them 10 out of five stars, if possible. No regrets and would highly recommend.

I grumbled because I had to get up so early for this event, but soon I was wide awake and enjoying the serene beauty of the Serengeti. I floated over elephants, giraffes and lions as the newly risen sun glistened on the wet grasses. The pilot, the self-described "handsome" Barry, struck just the right balance between humor, education and allowing the group to enjoy the quiet magic of the ride. Afterwards, there was sparkling wine and an English breakfast in the wild. This was never on my bucket list, but I would do it again and again!

Fulfilled a lifetime dream. This was a very well experienced company and knew exactly what they were doing. Our captain Abeide was good fun and we had every confidence in this balloon ride. We saw lots of animals and it was made very easy for us. A very professional set up and I loved every minute. Thank you.
