It's not structured for easy navigation, busy packed with all sorts of people, hence be careful. It should be modernized since i think its way off its time.

This is the normal bus terminal found in ubungo district at Dar es salaam region in Tanzania. The bus stand is specifically for upcountry travellers even though it still needs maintenance to become attractive as for now there is some sort of disturbances in issuing bus tickets, poor organisation of transportation, services and care rendered to travellers but also at ubungo junction flyover is built which will minimise traffic jam hence it still improving day by day

Domestic & international bus terminal in Dar es salaam . Very busy spot during peak times (4am to 9 am). Other bus departures / arrivals like Dar express, Kili Express are outside or nearby the terminal. Make sure where you buy the ticket ask departure area. Be extra careful buy your tickets straight to the designated bus office desk. Environment is just ok not that clean especially wet season.

It’s too hot no shades for passengers. They charge gate toll but the stand is not well 🤒 maintained. Very poor shopping facilities made of boxes, nylon and poles. With exception of few buses like Dar Lux and TAHMEED tickets are roughly written. No proper documentation of passengers. No hotels, no ATM or banking services only rely on mobile phone 📱 financial services.

They changed the location of the bus terminal! Some busses like the one to Lushoto leave from Magafuli (Mbezi Bus Terminal). There is also a hotel called Ubungo Executive Lodge, which is right at the bus station. We payed 30.000 TZS for a double room for two people. Breakfast at the restaurant is included.

Very busy, especially in the mornings so be careful with your bags and watch your pockets. Busses going everywhere and often not on much of a schedule. Also watch out for getting charged extra to make sure your bags that are already in storage under the bus make it to your destination.

When you are new to Dar es salaam, the first place to hear will be this terminal, It real looks great more during nights, if you have no experience in walking during night even if you know this city you might be lost, So be careful and try walking at night to know the city better

After completion of this flyover megastructure the trafic congetion could be reducted

It is a bus terminal where transport to almost all regions and neighbouring countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and DRC are provided. The terminal needs rehabilitation, during rainy seasons there seems to be mud and water which limits pedestrian movement. There are a lot of challenges.
