Very nice place to rest from the city crowds and stress

More of a Coffee Bar with inside and outside facilities

Excellent accomodation. There s no word to describe how the staff is caring to make your stay perfect. Excellent food prepared at home too. This part of Zanzibar is probably among the beat for indulge in local life. There are much less beach boys to bother you too here. Mnemba island is very close for swimmong with dolphins and superb snorkeling. All in all, we had a great family vacation (family of 5) and the house was far above oir expectations in any way. Congratulations! 5 stars!!!

Trust me, its amazing but for the exclusive.. Don't expect anything cheap

I hate to give 5 stars to luxury hotels - it's just not fair to local eateries, esp for visitors. But If you're working in Dar, you probably need this coffee shop from time to time - open late, with spacious & comfortable spaces indoor & out. Good coffee drinks - friendly efficient staff. Microbrews on tap, which is rare. Strong internet & many plugs. The food offerings are very good - we had a mezze platter which was extensive, with pillowy little flatbreads. Not necessarily recommending it - just letting you know - it's here when you need it.

Nice area to relax, have a coffee, work a little bit.. really good vibe outside but lots of mosquitos after the rain in the afternoon.. water features with carps and palm trees.. Romantic setting in the evenings. Excellent coffee and friendly service. Harder to find electricity plugs but some tables inside have access to them. AC and confortable temperature. Good WiFi.

Food quality is good. Service is beyond bad. Very inattentive.

Flame Tree Lounge saved my night. It started with a disaster at the oriental restaurant on level 1. I left the restaurant disappointed and hungry. I went directly to Flame Tree Lounge and what a happy ending I got. Perfect atmosphere, the service, good drinks and really the food was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I can really recommend this place. (Order the roast chicken) Thanks me later!
