Senga and staff are always welcoming and ensure you will have great experience. They are always accommodating customer wishes. You will not taste better food in this area on the island. Everything is freshly prepared and taste fantastic. I highly recommend visiting this local treasure!

I visit Coco Green almost every day during my stay in Matemwe. It is a celebration every single time. The food is fantastic! People are absolutely wonderful! Always attentive always giving that little extra. Preparing any specialty I come up with. I absolutely love this place and don't even think of eating somewhere else.

Amazing local restaurant! Loved this place! The chef Chabu used to work in a 5* hotel - the food is superb. This is not fine dining so don’t expect that but it’s definitely an authentic local experience. You can buy fresh fish at the local market and they will prepare it for you or you can order anything (e.g. lobster) and they’ll catch it for you and prepare the next day. Don’t miss this place!

We found this place by chance.. at first, not sure what to expect, it's proper local, in a little village just of the Matemwe beach. The food though was exceptional, so good. We had some masala chicken, and red snapper fish, and it was one of the best food in Zanzibar😀 We waited a long time for it to be cooked, but that was because the guys made it fresh from scratch! 😃 So yummy! We wanted to love this place, but we must have picked a bad day. The service was friendly and impeccable. However, my partner got sick from the seafood - probably due to a lack of refrigeration as the electricity was out. I had the fish curry which did not make me sick, but I did feel a bit overcharged given the number of bones in the pieces I was served.

Went there for dinner, the owner is really nice and friendly. I took fish and rice, it was excellent! I would totally recommend going there if you're in matemwe.

This restaurant offers the best local food in Kigomani. It is cosy and nice to sit there. We loved it and we recommend to eat there.
