I took a 2+ week trip in Tanzania with Moody as our guide in July 2019, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Moody is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, as well as very professional in his job. He is incredible in spotting animals -- we got to see more animals than I ever imagined on this trip. In addition, he is very knowledgeable about the various animals. His driving is very safe. He is so very friendly and willing to help with whatever your needs are. He even taught us some words in Swahili as we were driving to the parks. My highest recommendations go to Adventure Kaskazini!

What an amazing safari guide, driver and super nice guy. Mood created such a wonderful experience for us. He has super eagle eyes noticing lions in tall grass, basking monitor lizards in the midst of rocks, camouflaged leopards up high in trees. We would never have noticed these if stationery let alone whilst driving! I've attached a few photos/videos to give an idea to the scenes that Mood enabled for us. It was truly exhilarating to be surrounded by elephants, zebras and giraffes or tracking lions or a rhino. Mood spent years training as a licensed guide and is incredibly knowledgeable on safari. It's very easy to be impressed with just the animals but Mood will also point out the huge variety of birds and beautiful trees. There are a lot more than just baobabs! Mood is genuine, placid and kind-natured. We spent 6 days with him, but you could happily spend 6 months with no issues or irritation. We found his driving and tours absolutely safe. He is a complete pleasure to be around and I totally recommend him. We can't wait to go back!

GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH ADVENTURE KASKAZINI. We just returned from a wonderful (= full of wonders!) trip through 4 beautiful Tanzanian National Parks using the Adventure kaskazini Car Rental & Safaris company, based on excellent reviews and good interactions with the owner ,We originally planned to rent and drive a 4WD car ourselves but after thinking about it, made what we now know was the right decision to also hire a driver/guide. Moods, our driver, added a lot to the success of our trip. Not only was he friendly, pleasant to be around, knowledgeable, and able to locate many, many interesting animals, birds and places, but he also allowed us to focus on nature rather than on driving the often difficult, poorly marked roads. We saw a wide range of remarkable creatures, and were frequently alone with a quiet herd of elephants, a pride of lions lounging right next to our car, braying zebras streaming by and noisy aerobatic formations of huge flocks of storks. With Mood’s hard work we were even able to see a rhinoceros, at last, on our last day in Ngorongoro NP. We arranged our itinerary and reserved the lodges ourselves, with helpful advice from Fatma, and could not be more satisfied with the support and level of attention by the Adventure kaskazini team. We had complete freedom to plan the Safari we have always wanted, did not have to deal with staying in a cramped car with strangers, and are already considering returning and will definitely book with them again. We enjoyed an incredible safari with this Company. The guide (Mood) was very nice and professional, we saw with him the "big five"!!!!! He drives the 4x4 very safety and he knows were are the "big cats". Good company and honest guide!!!

We rented a 4x4 LandCruiser for 7 days and did a round trip through the National Parks. It was really nice, we had a great adventure. From the beginning the support of Mrs Stey’s and the Kazkazini team was great and they helped us a lot to plan our trip. All administrative things and car introduction was trustworthy and professionally done by Mr. Gift. We would reccomend this company!

Absolutely amazing!! This was the most incredible experience of our life. The owner of the company is nice and helpful. She does everything she can to make the safari completely to your liking! Everything was incredibly well organized and especially our guide made this safari unforgettable. He knows everything about the animals and their behaviour, the nature, the different tribes and the country. Moreover, he always chose his own route in the National park and did not chase other safari cars. Because of this we have seen many special things! Land Cruiser with roof tent for two pax rented. Very professional and helpful team. Vehicule was well maintened and allows smooth rides in all type of roads. We were so happy that we chose Kaskazini as our Rental company! Ms Stey and Moodson were so helpful and they were the only company complying with our request. We also had engine problems with the car but they were so professional and organized everything to help us out! Apart from that the car was amazing and everyone was envy. We will come back! :)

We had an unforgettable self-driving safari in our Toyota Land Cruiser, arranged by Adventure Kaskazini. Highly recommend for those with a bit of self-reliance, as we had some car troubles on the way due to the tough roads of the national parks. But in the end that made our experience even more special. Moreover, the rented tent and equipment were great.

Very reliable, professional, trustworthily, fast (response to questions) and friendly to the most! If you are searching for the perfect car hire here you found it! The 4x4 safari land cruiser was well equipped and in great conditions. No need to worry about fuel during safari the car it self has 2 tank with 160 liter tank, which makes the driving range around 1,280 kilometers. It came fully equipped for a 11 day's safari trip with 2 people gears: We didn't have any issue on our 11 days in northern Tanzania. We had some troubles with our gas stove " burner" and they change it quickly. I strongly recommend this company.

We had a great time driving around Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. Moodson arranged our route plan at very short notice and was always super quick to reply when we had an questions. The service we received from Gift was top notch. He showed us how the tent system worked, picked us up, dropped us off and always put our needs first. The landcruiser was a beast. It handled the rough roads of the serengeti very well. Any minor issues were sorted out for us fast. Top guys. Choose Adventure Kaskazini and you'll have a great safari.

Wow, what an amazing trip with Adventure kaskazini The trip exceeded my expectations on many levels. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming and was very knowledgeable. We got taken on beautiful sunrise game drives. I never imagined I would see so much wildlife up close, including over 40 lions. One of my favorite parts was the unexpected picnic lunch by the hippos. The camps were basic though beautiful locations and the tents and bedding was clean. The lodge we stayed in was also very pleasant and clean. I travelled with my brother only but it was not a worry and I would highly recommend Adventure kaskazini. Future tips would be to make sure you have shillings in case you visit the tribes and to have some warm clothes for chilly evenings Thanks Stey's and the Whole Team of Adventure kaskazini.

Once in a life Time Safari We had the best experience possible for our 8 day safari with Adventure kaskazini From the beginning, Stey's the owner was very responsive over whatsapp, giving us many options to choose from and answering all questions quickly. Obviously with Covid it is difficult to commit to a big trip like this and Stey's totally understood, offering free cancellation should it be needed. The trip itself was phenomenal. Our guide Laurance was an absolute dream. his passion for the wildlife and knowledge of all the parks we visited was unbelievable. Thanks to him we completed the big 5 and saw no less than 4 leopards, one from about 3 metres away - truly magical stuff! We've just returned from a fantastic self-drive and camping tour of northern Tanzania with Adventure Kaskazini. Self-drive in Tanzania is an experience in itself, but we highly recommend it, provided you're comfortable with driving a 4x4 on very bumpy roads and sleeping in a tent while lions roar nearby. We are very grateful to Stey's, Gift and Moodson for always being available to help us when needed. All in all, it was a memorable experience and we look forward to traveling with Adventure Kaskazini again!

The vehicle we were given was not what was ordered or promised. It was delivered a day late with very little oil, a very bad clutch which made the car pop out of gear, one very bad tire that went flat in the middle of Serengeti. The vehicle was old and slow and could not go as fast as other safari vehicles on the road. It overheat twice while going up hills and left us stranded in the middle of nowhere. Very bad experience though the company did reimburse us for one day of the rental our self drive safari experience was ruined.

It was the best choice we’ve ever had. At the beginning, before we contract the safari, Stey's was very flexible and arranged us a very suitable tour. She gave us recommendations and after the safari I can say that she was right in every piece of advice she gave us. During the safari, our guide was the best one, Laurance was a great professional, he really knows about the wild animals and could see more animals that we had ever imagined. Additionally, he made the safari very enjoyable, having conversations and funny moments with all of us. And the food was incredible, Rodger cooked us such a nice dishes…in the middle of nowhere we were the ones who ate better, for sure! We would contract Adventure Kaskazini again if we did another safari in Tanzania.
