Very good food and service, everything at the highest level. Polish Gołąbek was really Polish and delicious. Pizza was good and green pesto dip as well. I recommend to visit this place :)

I did not expect to find a great, think focaccia in Zanzibar, but I might come back here later just to buy it on its own. It was thin, warm, salty and really good with the chili oil they served on the side. I also tried the pesto dip to have on the crust of the foccacia, but it was just ok. Not enough flavour in my taste. The pizza was really good, I ate the chorizo with added pineapple (not on the menu, but asked if it was possible). A good pizza, but I don’t understand why the chorizo is cut into squares instead of thin, round slices like pepperoni? My lady tried the 4 cheeses but she was a bit dissapointed that it was so burnt on the cheese and it felt a bit dryer than my pizza. Todays dessert were panne cotta and tiramisu. My tiramisu was good, soft and juicy, I would say 3/5 stars. But nothing I would come back for or buy again. The panne cotta my lady was dissapoint over. She buys panne cotta all over the world but didn’t find this anything special or worth buying again. The desserts costs 10.000 ts each (just mentioning since they don’t show up on the menu). All in all I’m happy we went here, but I’ll probably only come back for the focaccia if I do. Edit: I did actually come back the next day and bought a foccacia to bring with me to where we were staying 😊

By far our favourite restaurant on the island! Food is consistently amazing, which is hard to find in Zanzibar. Recipes are original, true Italian grandma style, good selection of wine, great deli meats and fresh bread daily. Service is always professional and friendly, and sometimes there is live music too. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Best pizza we had on the island. Great and fluffy dough! Went twice to the restaurant and ordered focaccia for the waiting time at the airport…😂We are vegan and the owner was really nice and created every time different pizze with all kind of veggies on it. We definitely did not miss any cheese ;) Grazie!

Amazing ! As I am Italian, it was a very hard idea for me to come here for Italian food in Zanzibar. But the taste was amazing !!! I had felt my self like in my Italian grandmother house …. So yummmmmy ! If you want to eat Italian food, please come here !

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, food is absolutely great. Clear recommendation for everyone who wants good Italian food. Best Pizza in Jambiani! Best starter was the Aubergine with Tomatosauce and Mozzarella, honestly soooo delicious. One point of criticism, people seem to be allowed to smoke inside. That is very annoying. Luckily we sat outside.

Wonderful place with very welcoming and helpful staff. Delicious pizza (especially the Laurka one), great chicken avocado salad and last but not least fagioli soup: a blast of Italy in Zanzibar! If you are looking for a place to dine alone or with your family- this is the place for you! Oh and the white spicy sauce: that is the ultimate spicy sauce 😎

I definitely love so much this restaurant, and tried so many things on the menu, I am always happy and have good service. The Manager Chris is super cool and tonight I had the best Calzone I ever had 😋 I highly recommend to come to this place during your trip 🙏🙏

Truly beautiful food, excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. Definitely the best pizza in Jambiani! If you want to try good Italian food, you should visit Pompetti restaurant.

Food is amazing 😍 one of the best dishes I had in Zanzibar. My partner and I explored a lot of the island and the experience we had at Pompetti was outstanding. From fresh great food, to the best coffee and amazing service! Wish we had come here earlier. So helpful and friendly 😃

Very nice place. We had a starter of vegetables and Parmesan and two kinds of pizza — both really good. Prices are really good and they showing live sport on big screen! Highly recommended. The place is run by Italian guy who is very friendly and truly Italy host :) Hope to visit this place again if time will let it:)

A little pricey but very good food and cocktails. The cocktails were really good value. Pizza were tasty!!

Had the Pollo milanese, huge portion of chicken that tasted great. Gnocci was good too. Will definitely eat here again.

Pizza has cardboard like dough, extremely salty, probably because of poor quality cheese, chorizo was hard. Beef in stuffed peppers was chewy and salty. There is other Italian restaurant near by which has great pizza, wanted to try this one and really regretted it, at least the prices are fairly low so it didn't cost too much. I think owner is Italian and they have wood fire oven so I am shocked that pizza is so bad... Restaurant looks nice and modern, has projector, so you can watch football etc.

Amazing Italian food. Highly recommended also the cocktails. The chicken and avocado and Gnocchi. The salat was really great. Pizza options are available after 14:00. Tom is really friendly and funny and makes sure you are well cared of.

Chris and his team do an amazing job serving fabulous authentic Italian produce. I have been to Italy over 10 x and this is on par and excellent. A delight for your tastebuds! The chicken is fresh and tender as is the beef burger and the pizzas were yummy. Since we arrived here we have eaten his food over 4 x and will continue to do so. No fear of Deli belly here 😏 Apologies no photos I was too busy eating!! Thanks Chris!
