Never been so humiliated or embarrassed as when I tried to enroll myself and my wife who suffers from Huntington's disease. At 74 and having moved around NZ and overseas, seldom if ever have I struck such rudeness and arrogance from a Practice Manager. Such a shame, I hear the Dr is pretty good..

I would certainly recommend Dr de Silva for his helpful knowledge and care. The office staff are also most helpful and a delight to deal with. I am delighted with the care I am enjoying since joining the Hawks Bay Wellness Centre.

Couldn't speak more highly of this place. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. Let me drop in with no appointment with baby with suspected ear infection. Such friendly staff and both Doctors I've had have been wonderful and approachable. This practice seems particularly good for people with children. Paula is a baby expert and helped with weaning. The receptionists have good knowledge of how to 'work the system' to get the care you need as quickly as possible. LOVE THEM!

The worst place to visit if you are sick, better you go and wait in Emergency at Hawkesbay Hospital. Irresponsible people sitting in front reception don't know what to do or how to do, so pathetic...

Just moved to Hawkes Bay, had our introduction yesterday with the Nurse Practitioner - I almost don't want to write about her in case everyone suddenly joins and it becomes impossible to get an appointment but what a LOVELY EXPERIENCE. So welcoming and kind, great information, made my children feel very at ease, good focus on women's health.

DoctorTerence De Silva and his team has made a huge difference at the wellness center.. He is very caring ..kind hearted and hard working ..The girls at the reception are fantastic.. I would recommend him to anyone..

Saw Paula yesterday cannot speak highly enough of her. Very professional caring and AWSOME Dr. Great receptionist even under pressure 10/10

Where do I begin...Dr De Silva is Absolutely the Most Amazing, Best Doctor Around as for Reception Angela is also Absolutely Amazing, Bubbly and Friendly. Please bare in mind if anyone has Issues with this Place take it Elsewhere as Reception and the Dr are Doing there Total Best at this Surgery and do not need Slack from Anybody. Best All Round Surgery in Hawkes Bay

My family and I had a great experience and continue under the care of Dr. Silva as our GP. My son and I were severely sick with a chest infection and he took the time to see us, called me at home to check in, prescribed medicines when needed and even helped me put a backup plan in case my symptoms worsened during some travels I had to take. I would easily say he went well above and beyond expectations and for that I am thankful.

The receptionist Angela Went above and beyond for our family when we came down with covid so would like to Thankyou so much for helping us and providing extra care. Never have I experienced this before we really appreciate your service.

Dr DeSilva is an amazing doctor I recommend the wellness centre so much that I travel from Hastings to there for all my medical needs

0 rate for me, as i have been waiting a long time for my doctors form to be filled out and they just got back to me saying they have no info about me, or need me to book an appointment as they could have said this the first day i came in, Really unreliable service and long waiting game

These guys looked after me for five years through various health issues and two near fatal car accidents. I cannot praise too highly the ladies on Reception (Angela, Brigid), the nurses (Paula, Apple), and Dr Terrence da Silva and Dr Sakhina Ahmad. The team is tight and they work together to get the best help for their patients. Get on their list if you can.

Dr de Silva is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He always has a smile and is open to listening to my health problems.
