Entrance to Sugar Loaf Walkway via Cumberland Rise. Easy parking spots, go up the drive by foot and then climb over the fence. A good incline if you like a challenge, dirt path, pretty straightforward. Not that long of a walk from the car park to the top, maybe 15-20mins? Wasn't really timing myself. Seats along the way if you need a rest. Good view at the top, over the vineyard and to Puketapu. I saw a lot of bees on the way up so if you are allergic to bee stings bring your supplies just in case.

Best place to start your day. A good climb to get your heart rate up and the view is to die for!

What a view, with not much walk though. The walk upto the top is quite steep. Don't go during rainy day as it gets pretty slippery but on a sunny day it's just amazing. Park your car at the carpark and 10 minute walk takes you to the top where you will see the sheeps will be walking along with you to the top. Super awesome. There is a bench on the top to sit as well. Can be a pretty good spot to have something to nibble with a view 😉

Lovely little walk in Taradale. Parking at both ends. Or, and my recommendation, begin your walk beside the Church Road car park & walk through a newly planted native bush. About 2km.

Nice city scape, a few minutes from the city center. Great to take a dog for a walk and to perform a quick hike. View is nice.

Super loaf hill what a beautiful view and there's a little climb to get there and it was all worth it bring your family and friends the view is beutyfull and I was very happy 😊 to go there bring your camera 📷 it fantastic and bring some water with you I recommend it and very happy 😊

Good to take your dogs for a walk and if you want a challenge try and run up the hill. There is no wheelchair acsses as it is very steep.

Today our school was going on a walk up Sugar Loaf. This was the very first time i have been up there, and man from the amazing walk , 360 degree of pure beautiful scenery this was definitely was worth it.

360 degree view of Taradale and Napier areas can be seen from the peak. Sugar loaf hill is not a difficult hill. Good for starters
