No. 62: Przebendowski-Radziwiłł Palace. In this place, in the 18th century, there was a manor house, which was converted in 1728 by Jan Zygmunt Deybel into the palace of the Crown Treasurer, Jan Jerzy Przebendowski. In 1863-4, rebuilt according to the design of Wojciech Bobiński for Jan Zawisza. His address was Bielańska 14\16. In the 20th century, the residence belonged to the Radziwiłł family. In 1944, 70% of the building was destroyed, but in 1948-9 it was rebuilt according to the design by Bruno Zborowski without annexes, housing the CRZZ training center, and then the Lenin Museum with interiors by Rudolf Hemerlin from 1954-5. In 1989, the Independence Museum was established here. It houses permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as a cinema showing documentaries.

The palace was probably built in the years 1727–1729 for the Grand Treasurer of the Crown, Jan Jerzy Przebendowski. During the Warsaw Uprising, approximately 70% of the building was destroyed. In 1947, it was taken from Janusz Radziwiłł and rebuilt in 1948–1949 in the 18th century baroque form. In the years 1954–1990 there was a Lenin Museum here. Since 1990, the palace has housed the Independence Museum

The late-Baroque palace was rebuilt in 1728 for Jerzy Przebendowski. In the years 1863-1912, the property belonged to Jan Zawisza. The new owner gathered archaeological collections there. In 1912, the palace was purchased by Prince Janusz Radziwiłł. It was destroyed in 1944 during the Warsaw Uprising. Rebuilt in 1948-1949. Since 1990, the seat of the Independence Museum

A beautiful place, interestingly, the security guards are very nice, they tell you things about the topic, almost like guides, adding private experiences from the history of the city, best regards
