Very wonderful beach.All the water sports and Scuba diving is available in Malvan beach now . We can have a ferry ride to Malvan fort.Ferry ride charge is 100 Rs per person.Fort entry fees is 5 Rs.Beach is not very clean as lots of fishermen boats are present here.Lots of food options available near by beach.It is advisable to go for Scuba diving in morning befor 1 pm as people will become less after noon.

Because of the huge tourists and other commercialisation this beach isn't for the one who looks for peace. But apart from this, this place has its own vibe. This is busiest beach in sindhudurg region. Malven market situated next to this beach. Ferry available for Sindhudurg fort as well as to roam around other beaches nect to this. For scuba you need to reach this beach. Municipal council should look after cleanliness or else this place might lose the tourism.

This Malvan's fish market, different types of fish, frounce, dry fish are available. Generally fish market open on 0600 am and may be close before 1000 hrs and also opened at evening. Fish are very cheap and fresh.

Recently, we friends visited Malvan beach for fun. The experience was really awesome. We enjoyed it a lot. A very very clean and crowded beach. You can enjoy yourself on this beach with your friends. We did various sports activities. The beach was very calm and pleasant. You can spend your precious and quality time with your friends. Must visit.

Malvan worth visiting this paradise again n again. Malvani food is absolutely scrumptious, thanks to dining restaurants like Shirgaonkars. The Market place is a perfect blend of hustle n bustle of shops and the fish market. Ranes Icecream parlour and Vijaya Bakery are worth a visit. Malvan truly a Jewel in Konkan.

Interesting & colorful locals fisherman market on the sand and in the warehouse structure. Cool photo opportunity and worth a visit for this reason. Also ferry pier launch for Sindhudurg Fort is here. Not a place for swimming, playing or sunbathing due to low quality environmental conditions--litter, feces, dogs, rotting animals.

Must visit the beach if you are in Malvan. You can see the mighty Sindhudurg fort from the beach. The sea is nicely adorned with small and medium fishing trawlers. You can visit the place in the evening to buy fresh fish from the local fisherfolks. There's also a jetty from where you can take a boat ride to the fort. The beach is very close to the local Malvan market.

Place has wonderful beach. It also offers fresh fish wholesale market. You need to be early to buy fresh out of sea and offered price is really reasonable. Wholesale open market start by 6am and last for 2-4 hours depend on demand. If you are fish lover and in group drive to this place and buy at wholesale rate. Surmai offered at 400 - 800 ₹/kg depend on demand. Small size prawns 200-350₹ / kg where as kings prawn 450- 600₹/kg. This also offers variety of fish from crabs to squids. Small fish to 7-8kg big fish.

Very Beautiful and Clean Beach 🏖️⛱️ Enjoying Environment, Good Food

This place may be hub for water sports but the beach was dirty. It is long and beautiful but not maintained well. There is but one good place to eat here. There is a huge fort right next to beach on an island.

Beach is very pleasant. We visited in the evening and took part in fish auction. Nice golden sand is beautiful and sunset is mesmerizing. Road to beach is very narrow and that's what makes it difficult if you have a car. Only one vehicle can pass by at a time.

I came here to visit Sindhudurg Fort. Beach is okay not for watersports. There are rocks in water do not venture. Nearby chivla beach is best. Fish market here is OVERRATED. Pricing is hyped. Same day fish prices in my Belgaum city (non costal) in equal.
