Nice little museum, but more than just a museum. This is a stained-glass workshop. Visits are only possible with a guide and in small groups. They are scheduled ahead of time for a certain time slot. The guide provides in-depth explanations of the manufacturing process with live examples right in front of you. Some really nice finished pieces as well. I liked it, but I will say it is not for everyone.

Super unique experience and museum and really fairly priced, even throwing in free drinks and pastries with the short workshop and tour package. Guides were all lovely.

If you liked stained glass then this place is a must go. The tour includes viewing historically significant pieces and an insight into how projects are completed. The short workshop gives you a deeper appreciation into how hard it is to create much grander pieces seen throughout the workshop.

Just returned from visiting this museum and workshop. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful, as a family we did the workshop to make our own piece of stained glass. Aleksandra and Gabriela were expert at making our imperfect pieces presentable. Workshop is a must.

Highly recommend!!! This is not only a museum but, they offer extended workshops, and stained glass art training. I got to work with the master artist Maria. Wonderful experience. Museum includes tours and also has a small cafe. Definitely don't miss this one!

Super interesting, you get to see the entire work process from idea and concept to finished product! I loved the guide, both knowledgeable and funny, made the experience. Takes about one hour, and there's stairs involved (no elevators!). This is the oldest remining workshop in Poland

I highly recommend a visit to this place on any tour through Krakow. Obviously most people come to Krakow for Auschwitz and to pay their respects. However it is important to see what culture lies here as well. This museum and workshop existed long before WWII and it is still going strong. The tour is absolutely worth the price of admission to see these old world Craftsman and women at work. The tour explains both the technical side and the artistic side and left me wanting more. They really take their time and explain the why and the how of their work. The art pieces both in progress and complete are absolutely stunning.

One of the best things I've done in Krakow was to take the guided tour of this workshop. They only do guided tours for 37 PLN, less for students and albeit not cheap it's worth every penny. The tour lasts about an hour and the guide was a lovely young lady who presented to us the history of the shop in very good English. Even if you don't care at all about glass you still learn a lot of history and how several things are commented with glass. I loved that I could piece together several people and places I learned when in Krakow. I would recommended to put this early on things to see in Krakow and definitely don't miss it

You don’t get to have a tour is a live stain glass workshop too often. The tour lasts about an hour and goes through the process of making a stain glass piece talking you around the workshop and follows up with some finished pieces on display and the history behind them. Optionally you can do a one out or two hour workshop and take on a little piece, it’s more or less putting what was explained on the tour into practice. Tour guide was very friendly, patient and a bit of a historian English tours operate twice a day when open

We had a great time here! We paid for the tour and a long workshop, which was well worth the extra money. Our guide or teacher was Lucyna. We had a separate guide for the tour and workshop but unfortunately I only caught one name. The tour was really interesting, we learnt so much we didn't know. The workshop was definitely the best bit. We made two items with 5 bits of glass each. The instructions were really clear and helpful, we didn't feel under any pressure to hurry up despite our teacher having to go lead a tour and swapping with another lady. They were both patient and let us take our time so we were happy with what we made. I genuinely mean it when I say you should not miss out on the workshop if you enjoy crafts or art to any level!

We did the regular tour (no hands on part) and it was okay. Our guide was awesome and she taught us about the end to end process of stained glass making, then we finished by looking at a few pieces in the museum. Overall a nice experience - not super wow or anything, but interesting enough to do if you have extra time in Krakow.

Awesome museum. You learn quite a bit about the process to create stained glass and the work shop class was well worth it. Got to make a souvenir and make memories.

I had a great time doing the tour and workshop. I did the 1 hour workshop and was able to choose 2 colours, cut and solder my pieces together. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was a unique experience being in fully operating stained glass workshop.

Fantastic little museum. Our guided tour with Alexandra, took us though the workshops and process by which their stained glass masterpieces are made. It then moved into the museum where works by four Polish stained glass masters are on display.

The tour was very informative! It was quick and easy and enjoyable. We did the 2 hour workshop after and made our own pieces. Paulina made the experience super enjoyable! I had a great time. She did a great job explaining and showing the steps while encouraging you to do your best. Super unique experience. I would highly recommend it. They have a cafe inside and items for sale also! Very fairly priced as well. Everyone was helpful and kind.

Out of our visit to Warsaw and Krakow, we agreed this was our favorite stop. It was more expensive than other things in Poland which almost made us turn away. I'm glad we didn't. The tour lasted nearly an hour and even had some hands on parts. She took us through the process from multiple stages of design, tools, cutting and framing techniques, choosing colors to painting, piecing together the glass and materials used. We thoroughly enjoyed this visit and gladly bought a more than fair priced item from the shop made by apprentices.

Very special place where the stain glass windows is made continuously since the beginning of XX century. The building itself is worth visiting as it is full of original furniture and unique features. There are frequent tours of the workshop and the museum(in English or Polish)and very knowledgeable and friendly guides that are actually working there(they know what they are talking about in depth). This is the place to visit by all Wyspianski's fans-they have two stain glass windows by his design: Apollo, and they are currently working on Polonia which will be displayed later on in December 2019.

Lovely little museum and workshop. Every hour there will be an English speaking guide showing you around. You'll wait in the cafe till it's time. In the workshop there are actually people working on stained glass windows while the guide is explaining how it works. Not a huge collection to look at but if you're interested in the process this is the place to be.

This working museum was great. We had a tour & full explanation given by an apprentice, Marta. See real stained glass windows being made, exhibits of masters designs & finished works. Good value for money if you have 1-2 hours. Small gift shop selling high quality glass.

We had a great morning out here! Very informative tour and we did the extra to make our own stained glass ornament. I found it extremely interesting and enjoyed spotting the stained glass around krakow after we'd found out so much about the various installations from the tour. Would highly recommend!

(Translated by Google) I highly recommend, you can learn from the technical side how stained-glass windows are painted and folded. This is not a glassworks, so if someone expects to blow glass is not the address. But as I wrote, it's worth it. The tour lasts about 45 minutes. In my life I would not say that the process of creating stained glass has been taking so long. (Original) Super polecam, można dowiedzieć się od strony technicznej jak są malowane i składane witraże. Super nice people. The tour is given by one of the workers, which is great since they can really explain stained glass to you. It is made almost the same as in the foundation of the Workshop, and that gives you a nice view into old times as well. Although you can't experience any of the stages of work, you are able to see them all, really up close, and see real time, real life demonstrations of all of them just for you. It is an insight into the amazing pieces we drool over in most churches and is a really cool alternative turist spot.

We had a small tour with only three people in total, but it made this a really great experience. It's so interesting to understand how these pieces are made, and to see some examples of the finished work. You walk directly through their workshops and so get to see the things they are working on at the moment, and the amount of labour going into. Definitely worth a visit, and there's some lovely ornaments for sale in the gift shop.

Aleksandra was an amazing guide. She took us around the museum and explained all the steps that go into staining glass. After the tour we had the workshop with her. She helped us throughout all the steps. I can totally recommend Aleksandra as a tour guide and the workshop as well. It's such a nice activity.

It's really fascinating to see the workshop in action, learn a bit about the process and to see finished products in the gallery. After the tour you can find pieces produced here at various locations in the city centre.

Probably, the greatest museum in Krakow. Active stained-glass studio, entry only within guided tour. A guide take you through the studio and providing very interesting details about stained-glasses art, showing, how to do it. For 200 zl a workshop is available, where you may able to make stained glasses by yourself. Also a nice cafe located downstars. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend a couple of hours: a very interesting and informative tour of the workshop hosted by Maria, followed by an hour making our own stained glass piece. Coffee and cake included in the price. Highly recommended

Very beautiful space, our guide Aleksandra was very informative and very friendly, we learned so much about this craft as it is not just a museum but a workshop as well, we even painted over glass ourselves. This was for sure a highlight of our trip in Krakow!!!!
