Horrifying experience when I asked to replace one fatty piece of lamb bbq chops with a better piece. The female staff just went off saying they all the same piece and she doesn't see any difference in them. She was loud, rude and didn't listen to a thing. Instead she was pushing for me to buy whatever she packed. She said if I need better lamb then I have to pay extra, to which I agreed. Sadly she was asking me to pay $18 a kilo for the same bbq chops which was marked as $16.99. I asked them to show me the marked price of $18 for lamb bbq chops so I can pay. She showed me the lamb leg chops and said this is it. Technically she was telling me that she will replace the fatty lamb bbq chops with a better piece but I will be paying the price of another cut of meat for the replacement. They are 2 very different cuts of meat!! Very upsetting experience because of the staffs behaviour first thing in the morning. I asked her to be a little polite but she started rambling. I am battling anxiety and she just made me so anxious and nervous with her tone and attitude. We had been loyal customers ever since they opened the shop but not anymore. My bad for not going to coles. Atleast they don't hestiate giving a refund for bad quality products.

Lowest quality fresh produce including vegetables at above market price.. I wonder how they are still getting customers.. Especially bagged items, you have to dump half of bag irrespective of size.. Buy 4kg onions and you find almost 2kg not fit for human consumption.. same goes for all other bagged items including green veggies. You'll never find good quality okra, long melon or anything else.. it's always like choosing best from the worst and still ending up with bad quality vegetables.. You can save even if you buy from woolies or Coles and getting much better produce.. No other fresh produce shop nearby, which might be the reason they are still in business.. I'll never ever go back to them again

Extortionate prices compared to other meat shops with third grade quality meat which goes off in couple of hours in fridge. Their customer service lacks the motivation to serve a customer with respect. We need a different fruit veg and meat shop in the area, its the lack of competition that makes these guys arrogant.

Over priced fruit and veg shop. Most items are bagged with 1-2 days of shelf life which is partly gone by the time you get home. Would not recommend shopping here.

Bad customer service. Whenever I buy meat from the butcher they always have to say something sarcastic about how much I’m buying. Excuse me I don’t need to justify to you how I’m going to use my 200 grams of mince meat. If you don’t want to sell anything less than 500 grams then put out a sign and I’m happy to take my money somewhere else!!!

Very cheap but you get the quality you pay for. The usually sale the rejected produces from Coles, woolies and Aldi .Very rude and inexperienced staffs. Get fresh produce and some experienced and well mannered staffs!!

2023: No longer cheap, rates are higher than coles. Also recent fruit and begin purchases revealed many items are substandard. Mango box 15$, all rotten! Onions, potatoes bags doesn’t last a week. Overall bad, not recommended 2020: Best price for fruits and vegetables Improvement required: Goat meat needs improvement (may be baby goat meat would help) . Found it better in Western Hallal, Werribie.

Bought approx 1.3kg chicken thigh Saturday afternoon 12.22pm. Got home and stored in the fridge at 12:40pm. Opened the bag today to prepare lunch and the smell was absolutely revolting. The colour of the chicken pieces was a deep pink/purple looking colour. Too bad I threw the receipt away to go back in there so they can smell it. And all other meats including chicken I bought before going into Big Daddy from Coles stored the exact same and no odour after I checked them as well. Won’t be going back. And don’t get me started on the customer service at the checkouts… won’t be returning

Staff are quick and friendly to talk to. Produce are fresh whenever I go, they have everything I need for my Asian cooking from green papayas to import frozen food/vegetables. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good variety of fresh fruit and veggies. Some veggies are too pricy. Half of the Mango, plum, strawberry boxes are rotten within few days when compared to coles and woolies packed fruit. Bulk onion bags are the worst.

No service because of lack of staff. At 8PM, 30 mins before store close time they cant sell some meat because the staff to cut meat are not available. Monopoly of sorts is the reason for their behaviour.

If one does a detailed costing of their items then you will realise that they are extortionately expensive. The only time you can get a bargain is if you buy in bulk which then essentially becomes wholesale and not retail! This is meant to be local suburban fresh produce store and not Costco. The quality of produce and meat is also quite poor for the high prices they charge.

Big Daddy’s produce are not fresh and overly priced. Their vegetables won’t even last a couple of days in the fridge and same with meat as well. It seems they are selling thawed meat and poorly stored produce. They should really be audited and shut down so we can have a better shop in the area. Their prices are outrageous sometimes even higher than your standard supermarket shops but the quality is way low.

Reasonable prices and neat and tidy store in Manor central next to coles. A range of fresh produce and fresh fruit juice is available. They also have a meat section and confirmed with the store member it's halal.

This store had a huge arrangement of fruit, vegetables and meats. The fruits we bought were of a high quality.

Meat where? Bones fat muscle is what you can expect to get when you buy meat pieces here. Toughest meat it goes off as soon as you take it home they put the good pieces at front to fool customers but what you get is bones fat and inedible pieces of meat why?

Bought 2kgs Ossobuco from their butcher section, on Monday 13 March 2023. When opened at home, found about a kilo of large size bones, which weren't on display. Conning indian staff. Texted the picture to their owners, they said "will investigate" and then disappeared. Typical indians who are used to their scamming customer services. Stay away from these idiots.

Cheap price but most of the stuff spoil faster than coles and Woolworth.

I buy chicken drumsticks from them and when i cooked . I saw blood coming from drumsticks. Not properly cleaned..

Fresh fruit, vegetables and a butcher all in one! Doesn't carry pork, but has everything else you would need. Even had chicken during the great chicken shortage of 2022. The pre-marinated meat and vegetables is pretty amazing, would recommend.

Good customer service and great range availability of produce of meat. However, I feel like the quality of produce is not as great when compared to other shops. Not sure if some of the veggies are grown in natural conditions as the Avocados, tomatoes and onions looks so big and fresh but tastes so weird. Not sure if they have been fed with any chemicals that makes them look big and fresh. Especially Avos as I wasnt able to find such size in any other shops but only here. Since then I stopped shopping here.

The cashier(female) was extremely rude I tried to talk nice to her but she said “ please reject this shop, we will have out checkouts a bit faster” and was as a response to “please talk kindly, we have all worked all day”… this was at 8:30pm on 13 August.. please try to find better employees who behave well with the customers

Bought boneless goat yesterday cooked today can't eat not fresh too old meat.. this didn't happen before. Disappointed..

Good - Lot of variety and open space. Bad- Staff don't follow mask rules. Have reported to vicpol already. If there is going to be a breakout in Manor Lakes it's likely going to be this place.

Wow.. the shop is huge, very clean nice and tidy. Most of the fruit and veggies are fresh and good quality and a lot of special offer. The meat are best quality and best price. Seriously I would recommend my friend come n shopping in this shop👍. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Always smile n greet to customer. Excellent guys.
