A gem alongside the Whitegate Way cycle route. Run by volunteers as a community trust. Lovely cake and tea. Clean (but in dire need of maintenance) Public toilets in the car park nearby

Great little find, perfect pit stop on our bike ride and very dog friendly too (there were plenty of owners meeting to have some free training). Nice coffee, great looking cakes - although I didn’t have one, ‘coz I’m an athlete (honest!!). Will be making this one of my regular cycling routes. Thanks guys, defo be back.

Visit Whitegate Station often as it's not that far from where we live. The parking is free, there are toilets and a nice little cafe staffed by volunteers who sell a range of cakes/snacks alongside with hot/cold drinks. Overall the Whitegate walk is as long as you want to make it; there is short walks or you can walk, ride or cycle through on which I am told lead to Delemere Forest which is miles away. Great scenery and friendly people although good sensible walking shoes/boots is recommended due to mud. Whitegate Way however is in majority wheelchair/pram friendly.

Station Cafe closed, but we wanted the Whitegate Way to just walk the dog. It was lovely and mostly shady on a very hot day. ..and very peaceful.

Great to walk the dog and I love that it's free parking. Sadly, lots of horse poop along the way and some people don't pick up their dogs mess. Would be handy if there were more dog bins.

A nice easy walk in beautiful countryside. The station house has been nicely refurbished, and it's good to see it in use, rather than become derelict.

Love this place...walking is quite flat around but not enough seating areas so the disabled and elderly could sit and take in the scenery which is beautiful.

Great flat walk along an old railway, 6 miles from end to end, longer if you explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the track!

For hiking is ok but not as good as paths like Windsor to Marlow. If for cycling purpose will be a very good place to visit.

A great off road path to walk your digs, go for a bike ride, just a quick shuffle. Dog walkers - turn left for mud and bog filled ditched, turn right for a relatively mud free* experience. Note : horse riders, cyclists, off lead dog walkers, runners etc.... Also use this path. There is also a decent dade at the far park site in the middle of the path (main car park araik)

Lovely flat walk, good for pushchairs/wheelchairs. Lovely little cafe as well with an outdoor bit for those with dogs (it's all undercover in case it rains!)

Non profit making. Best cuppa going in a lovely pot. Fresh food. Reasonable prices. Lovely to have a break on a dog walk. Excellent staffing.

Tea and cake were good. Dropped a star for having no customer toilet. You have to use the public ones at the other end of the car park and the mens were certainly not the cleanest I have used. Convenient though for the location on the Whitegate's Way.

Lovely friendly staff with dog biscuits on hand. Plenty of seating outside and tables nice and clean. Didn't get chance to sample food so we will be back for this one day.

Great to roam and get off the beaten track. One word of caution though, some cyclists do tend to go fast so keep your dogs and children close.

Lovely afternoon walk. Toilet facilities and a cafe too. I can't comment on the cafe as I didn't enter. Pathway is great for walkers, scooters, wheelchairs and bikers. Also to keep the kids amused there are some geocaching hunts on the route, so make sure to download the app
