We had a 2 night stay for a wedding in the local area. The hotel has everything you need, rooms are a good size, comfy beds, bathroom was also a very good size and the shower was very powerful. The room was also immaculate throughout. The bar area by the reception is also great with lots of choice. The staff were absolutely amazing particularly hotel manager Bee who went above and beyond. She's very friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Worst hotel I've stopped in, food is rubbish made by a stand in chef, not enough staff people were waiting at bar with no service, one employee kept apologising and told me the place is embarrassing. I work all over the country and will be avoiding travel lodges they have gone down hill badly.

Great location for us as we have lots of family nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room compared to other London hotels. Also had everything we needed aside from an a/c, had to sleep with the window open which meant we could hear the traffic pass by constantly. Be sure to ask for something away from the road if u need the window open. Plenty of space as a family of 3 and the shower 🚿 was great👍.

Nice little Travelodge. Parking is a little tricky if in a larger vehicle but there is a secondary car park. Lovely little buffet area for breakfast. A short walk to a wide range of shops and takeaways. A good quiet night's sleep considering it being close to a main road

The room was ok but no shower gel and hardly any liquid soap in the dispensers. The breakfast was not a good experience: The fruit was tasteless, the cooked breakfast ingredients were running out half way through the breakfast period as my group were there by 9 a.m and it didn't finish until 11 am. The mushrooms were dried out and the staff found it amusing that they had no more to offer us. Also nowhere to put our dirty crockery and cutlery. Very poorly run hotel.

The room was absolutely freezing. The heater kept automatically going off so could not get the room warm. We slept with jumpers and coats on as the duvet was so thin.

Room absolutely stinks, red stained carpet all over, no towels on arrival, bath was filthy, no fridge, mattress is disgusting. Dude at check in was awesome, only good point.

Very nice, basic rooms but clean and wet room in the accessible room. Very friendly, helpful staff and good breakfast, evening meals available although didn't try it out. Would definitely recommend

Paid £42 for a last minute booking so mustn't really complain. The room was adequate but clean, the staff friendly and Pearl's breakfast was superb. Beware of weekend bookings and staying in the rooms overlooking the car park as the flats behind can get a bit noisy when they are having a party.

Rooms smelled bad and weren't clean. We arrived late though and had business early the next morning and had travelled so far we didn't have the energy to complain at the time. It was noisy as other guests were moving around the hotel in the early hours as well. The staff were great though and were very kind the next morning and a big breakfast spread helped redress the balance. It was a last minute booking and if we had time we'd search a little wider around to find an alternative.

Great location to where i needed to be, clean and quiet. Apart from a hello I didn't really see staff so can't comment on restaurant service. Room was clean and tidy and perfect size for having a dog with a crate with me. Was let down by been very hot, was provided with a fan but even so couldn't have my dog crated/ covered by the 3rd night as she was over heating. Due to been on the main dueled road couldn't keep the window open overnight. This wasn't in Summer so would dread to think what mid summer would be like. Bathroom; bath plughole so clotted with ? - Water filled the bath from the shower. Apart from that nice and hot and good pressure. Good carpark and reasonably priced and a little grassed area which was perfect for the dog.

I know it's only a travelodge, but it's pretty grim! Huge, under-furnished and very cold room (with no extra blankets in the room). All very tired / austere. Friendly staff, though 👍🏻

Most disgusting and dirty Travelodge hotel I have ever stayed in . Room was smelly and dirty , with pubic hair on beddings , strong smell of bleach everywhere , stained carpets , and sticky desk . Staff not friendly and wifi awfully slow .

The service was slack at night better during day. The rooms have a tiny window, it's noisy road with no Aircon.

Great service but room was far too hot. 20C outside, 30C in our room! Window was open, fan was on but still cooked! No extractor in bathroom.

An ideal location for us for our family visit over Christmas. Friendly staff and a good Christmas day breakfast.

Dirty, rude staff , I paid for hotel and I didnt have any service. Rooms are very below the standard ,dirty ,toilet needed a good update because are very old. Window can t be opened and when is too hot you can t have fresh air coming inside the room. Is no fan ,no air conditioning. They don t give you clean towels or clean sheets ,most are full of stain and the rooms are smelling. Staff in the reception have no clue of they job are rude with attitude dirty and one of the can t speak English. Manager seems no caring at all how this hotel.look bad . I will never go back there is bad and the location is depressing.

Vastly improved since our last visit a few years back... Staff delightful, friendly and helpful, room spacious and spotless, bed comfortable, plenty of parking ... what more could you want. Nice .... and ample... breakfast. :-)

Decent value and clean, well ordered facilities. I was able to make use of the breakfast buffet deal where my 2 teenage children ate for free. This was a nice touch and I'll most likely stay here again before long

Good location for visiting family. Clean room apart from Toilet which had brown stain in s-bend and around rim, also there was dried on stale urine streaks on outside of bowl down near s-bend, Room was quite quiet at back of building. Chargeable parking cost £6 for 48 hours, should be free if staying there!

My wife and I stayed there Saturday 2nd October. We were greeted by the Duty manager Gaygan who was friendly and welcoming. We found our room to be spotlessly clean and had a wonderful sleep on our spacious bed. We will use on our next visit.

Room smelled on entry as if it had been wiped with dirty cloths and mopped with dirty water. One towel had huge stains as if not washed....looked like curry or poo. Another was ripped in one corner. The mattress had hard edges and the heet was also stained with what I don't know. Pillows smelt of dry sweat. I don't normally review but this was appalling. Nice young man on reception in the evening was one small save, kudos to him.

Standard travel lodge accommodation. Comfortable room decent shower. Does have a convenient cafe and bar. Good value self serve buffet breakfast. Helpful staff when they are around. Shame they don't do fresh eggs at breakfast. Reasonable value if booked well in advance. Will probably stay again.

Perfect location, great value for money. Service and food was lovely. We just came back after staying here for a couple of nights as we went to a wedding nearby. All staff were fantastic especially Bee and Pearl who made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much. Robin and Megan.

The rooms are spacious enough, clean. The bathroom is solid. Breakfast doesn’t have much choice, but the food is good, fresh. It may be awkward to stay in the accommodation for a long time because breakfast is the same every day. The attitude of the employees towards the guests is pleasant.

Good value, friendly staff who are doing their best but there's a few issues. Door card system is broken, most of our group needed new cards daily and one completely locked out. I'd pre-paid WiFi but it was down with no refund offered. Resident drunk in the morning at breakfast was disgusting. Just a general run down place.

Comfy beds. We had a ground floor accessible room (we didn't need it for our needs) and it was large and spacious. No noise too which was handy as some rooms can be due to promotiy to other rooms etc. The assistant mgr checked is in and couldn't have been lovelier. And the mgr was so friendly and sorted problems with early check in and also any problems we had. Might staff friendly also. Breakfast could have been less dry and a working toaster would have been appreciated. But overall, lovely stay Th ak you

Lovely overnight stay here, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great range of breakfast and all staff members welcomed us with a smile. Only downfall was the travel cot provided as little one wasn't too comfortable with that but in hindsight we should have taken our own. Overall would defo recommend staying here. Bed was comfy and room was clean. I would say you need a car/taxi to travel round the local area, town was literally 10 mins drive away.

0 stars is a more fitting rating. The worst thing about this place is the manager (Belinda/Bee) and echos throughout. She’s extremely sarcastic and down right rude, will do anything but her job to get a positive review before you’ve even checked in. I’ve witnessed her verbally abusing children and staff members. I considerately took her aside to discuss the issues I was having and was faced with rudeness. I don’t like to leave bad reviews as sometimes people make mistakes however after weeks of staying at the hotel I began to realise it was no mistake this manager is genuinely a vile individual who seeks to bully people for her own gratification. This by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced in the hospitality industry and I did contact Travelodge themselves but they were no help.

Only stayed a night but it was lovely. The reception staff were real fun and made us welcome. We had booked an early book in and it was ready on time and the room was lovely , clean and spacious. Had breakfast in the morning, was surprised how many people were actually there as the hotel seemed quiet!! Good breakfast selection. Good location for where we needed to go, the town, the train station and of course the Ann Summers shop🤭😉😁

Absolutely brilliant customer service. Marcel was very helpful. Left my earphone and they were kind enough to keep it safely for me. Always helpful, friendly during our short stay All staff were absolutely a credit to Travel lodge. Thank you 😊

Very good Travelodge. Far too hot in the breakfast area in the morning so could not have a cup of tea was the only negative as room was fine.
