👍👍 We take out little boy up there and its so beautiful. The walk isn't too long which is great for little legs. They have recently cut down some trees making lots of hooded areas where people have made dens. My little boy loved exploring in there! Great place to take some cool photos too 😎. These are... Really lovely walk that wasn’t too challenging, beautiful views, easy parking and easy to find. Perfect for dog walking or a walk with children x clearly very well looked after which is lovely to see

While the exterior of the house is unprepossessing the interior is warm and inviting. The carriage collection is a sight to behold and the history of the carriage is fascinating. Sadly the rain was torrential but this didn’t deter a walk round the beautiful grounds with the dogs. Well worth a visit!

The loop is a good walk and you can wander off into the forest or trek down to the butterfly reserve. Remember to pick up your dogs poop and deposit it in your home refuse bin, other people including children use the woods.

View brilliant. Disabled access poor unless you have a motorised mobility scooter or motorised wheelchair. The path although tarmac is very uneven and covered in loose stones. All in all the view was overshadowed by the poor access.

A nice walk through the forest. There is a single picnic bench with great views. c800m loop back to the car park, with views across to the Mendips and Quantocks along the way. Good sized car park.

We had a splendid boxing day walk, with long sweeping views through the forest. Don't forget your walking boots, or your wellies as it can get a bit muddy! If you like photography then bring your camera, plenty of opportunities 😁
