A marvelous, artistic and theologically built masterpiece in this region ! The sanctuary is built with inspiration from Notre Dame in Paris. It has the origin and history back from the time of Pioneers settlement. Every piece of this basilica, inside and outside, speaks for history, uniqueness, beauty and workmanship! The stained glass windows and panels are breathtaking. Paintings on the walls and ceiling are not made of just paint but made of tiny glass pieces ! An hour guided tour is worth taking to learn the details. Very impressive and educative for families of all ages ! Enough car parking places are available in and around.

This is a beautiful old cathedral with amazing stained glass windows. The two attendants on staff were very helpful and pointed out some amazing things to us in the glass that we would not have seen had they not been there. They also have quite the collection of holy relics if you're into that. This is a self-guided tour and you can take as much time as you like. I'm told that this place is often referred to as the Notre Dame of the Americas and I think it's deserving of the title. This is a site that should not be missed especially if you're Catholic.

There is tremendous history about this Cathedral which was constructed by parishioners. The stained glass windows are very beautiful. The guide, Bob was very helpful with a quick history.

Absolutely beautiful. We stopped in and we were the only ones visiting at the time. We received a bit of a personal tour from the attendant. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The art work, stained glass, and relics were amazing and beautiful. We stayed for about an hour taking pictures and talking. Easy parking across the street and no problems visiting.

Every detail is a must see to experience. My only concern is that the death of the Christ is displayed to clean. It was a messy and horrible death. He shed blood for the sins, evils of all humankind. That was missed by the artist. But the Basilica still felt sacred.

"Exceptionally exquisite".....yeah....that's how I would describe it 🤔😅 Beautiful architecture takes your mind to Europe !! Personally ...I think it's a must see...not only because of its history....but also because it's pretty to look at 🥰

It's amazing to see such workmanship, in intricate detail, up close. We arrived about 10:30am and the sun was still rising and shone thru the stained-glass windows, giving some fantastic scenes around the building. I imagine sunset could also be spectacular. The receptionist and workers were kind and helpful - thank you!

BEAUTIFUL cathedral!!! It had been years since I was last here and I'd forgotten how beautiful it is. You definitely feel closer to God in this place. We attended a Sunday evening Mass and I expected a very simple Mass, but was pleasantly surprised by organ music with violin accompaniment, and a female vocalist. The timing of the sunset had all the stained glass windows illuminated with natural light during and after Mass.

A gorgeous basilica. Staff was so very helpful in pointing out the beautiful murals, where the builder signed his name, directing us to the relics and describing some of the history of the church and the bishop that commissioned it. A wonderful visit.

Amazing place of worship. My spirit was at peace. Great place for prayer. There were many relics of Saints. Sunday Mass was inspiring and the choir and organist sounded beautiful. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area. All guests are welcome.
