We stopped on our way back from NOLA such a charming cafe. The egg salad was amazing and the butter pecan cupcake outstanding. My friend had the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese and was equally happy. Great place to stop while traveling.

I am More than Pleased with the service Sweet Magnolia gave to me. She helped me in everyway possible, plus my son's grooms cake looked prettier than the picture I gave her to go by. !! I can't say enough good things about Sweet Magnolia 's...... THANKYOU to all the employees for being so kind . Awesome Job

Paid $5 for a cupcake size piece of cheesecake and it tasted and smelled like ruined milk! Also paid right at $15 for a lunch special and the bread was so hard and old could barely chew it. We ordered from here 2 days in a row and the staff got orders wrong and were rude and seemed confused about everything. They were out of half the things listed for the daily menu at 9:45 am for the lunch menu. And they had listed things in their Facebook page as having that day and then when we called they said they didn’t have half of the things on the list. Very disappointed

All the staff is nice except the owner. We ordered cookies for Christmas a week ago and paid for them. Came back this week and our order wasn’t prepared, and the owner said we owed her more money. We did the math on our own and that was very incorrect. The treats are good, but not good enough to pay the steep prices.

I went in and bought a few overpriced cookies. That's fine, I knew what I was getting into when I walked into the store. It's a bakery, so I knew they would cost more than Walmart (across the street). But, then the awkwardness happened.... the girl at the register VERBALLY and loudly asked me "Would you like to tip?" Other customers were standing around, so of course I felt pressured and so dang awkward! I got courageous and replied "no", because let's face it....I was buying an item for a price. I'm breaking off a big chunk of change for these cookies already. I can understand if it was a custom cake, but come on....she literally handed the cookies over the counter. After I said no to the tip, I was then prompted to leave a tip on the receipt printout. That's when I decided I wouldn't be back. The cookies were dry and icing was nothing special. Do yourself a favor and go across the street.

I've always bought from another bakery. But, after this cake, I will be using Sweet Magnolia from now on. The cake was not only beautiful, it was so moist and delicious!

This bakery is outstanding. Freshly made baked goods, cookies, and candies every day. They have a great selection of freshly made sandwiches and homemade soups for lunch. It’s also a great place to stop for soup and dip mixes. Kim will even make up a gift basket if you need something special. It’s worth the trip.

I went to Mississippi to visit my sister and stopped here to get some cannolis. The woman that served me seemed a little ditzy, and there were items in there case that were not labeled and had to ask what they were and how much. But the cannolis were delicious !

Sweet Magnolias employees and owner always treat us with kindness and are always very helpful at fitting us in last minute if need be. Their products are the best around and it will be the only bakery me or any of my family will use. Their prices are very reasonable. I always love the saying you pay for what you get. Well I know everytime I order from them my cake, cookies, or whatever sweets I order that week will be fresh and baked with love.
