Staff with attitude, when one goes to work and doesn't want to be there. Projects that failure on others. The online site let's you check in at various times, but the hotel has a policy if 3 pm to 11 am, so mind that. The pool? They stuck a bird bath in an enclosed place. Ants crawl the floor from under the sink to the tub, they had plenty of room and may give a better review. If your with someone, you will have to take turns to get past the bed. If your in a pinch why not but way over valued. The staff was the biggest issue. Fake smiles, yet body language doesn't lie. After a heart surgery procedure, we had to wait 3 hours to book in, even after we had selected 11 am and got a confirmation and still was 30 minutes late on that. Breakfast was a 2 item selection. Coffee was horrid. Microwave is basically on the floor!.... If you value a comfortable environment, and pleasant surroundings this place is not for you. Bad enough it's Utah, don't be lazy.

I purchases 2 rooms Thursday through Sunday. Pool was closed when we arrived, told it was broke. No housekeeping services the entire stay due to staffing issues. Had to track down towels every day because they were short on supplies. Dirty sheets were left on the pull out bed. No coffee on Saturday morning because they ran out. Same food everyday, was not great. Worst hotel stay at a Holiday Inn Express ever. I paid in full a month in advance and the day we checked out I was charged by keyed entry twice more! Called and they said they would work on it, 4 days later the charge posted and I have another pending. This hotel must be a franchise, avoid if possible, you can find better.

A pleasant stay at an average hotel. Booking at a Holiday Inn Express, I essentially just want a comfortable bed in a clean room. This location delivered just that. We were upgraded to the suite, after requesting a top floor room. We are IHG members and that ensured our complimentary room upgrade. Happy with the quality of the room, it was clean (enough) and very spacious. Climate controls worked fantastic - there's an option for constant fan which is fantastic white noise during the night. Bathroom was functional, and the shower was roomy with plenty of hot water and high water pressure. Only things that were negative to this stay is due to the amenities. 1) The pool/hot tub area was a battleground of families and children vying for space in the water. Also, the water itself smelled rancid and was very slimy. 2) the breakfast was mediocre. Yes, there was food options presented, but I think I've had better quality food served at military chow halls. I was really looking forward to both of these features, and was left disappointed. Overall, a good value for 3 night weekend stay. Would return again!

I had an amazing stay for 2 nights. Breakfast was great. the staff was helpful and nice, and the hotel itself was clean. It looks like a newer building built in the last 2 to 3 years, so it had everything new inside. I will definitely be back when back in town for work. Highly recommended.

This was the best experience I have had in awhile when visiting the Salt Lake City area. The fact that they had an opening was just the beginning, (last minute reservation on Memorial Day weekend) . We arrived about 4:00pm exhausted from the drive and check in was so easy and the staff was very helpful and knew their jobπŸ™‚. We were offered cold water and a tour , we skipped both. We located our room πŸ˜„ right across from the pool and fitness center πŸ‘. The room was fresh and bright, clean and well stocked the shower head was amazing (pulse massage πŸ™ƒ) water pressure was great, towels and shower curtain clean and attractive. Coffee maker, refrigerator microwave built-in and out of the way. TV remote was clean and undamaged. Window was huge and well placed with privacy liners and black out curtains that were in working order. The Air conditioner was great and at night the heater came on to keep us toasty and comfortable. This location is my new favorite go-to when I visit my family in SLC. The next day breakfast was fresh and hot (6-9 AM ) and a good variety of choices ( the only place I've found Cranberry juice available) πŸ™ƒπŸ‘πŸ˜„ no long lines or unnecessary delays. Options for seating in the dining room or your welcome to take it to your room. Indoor pool and hot tub (6AM-10PM could have a good cleaning but it wasn't gross ) was a good way to end a long rainy day, the beds were very nice and the extra pillows were a bonus(6 on each bed)πŸ‘ with the thermostat set on auto we all woke up refreshed and well rested. For a last minute reservation on a busy Holiday price wasn't too bad. We opted to stay over and at first it was a little confusing as to how it would be billed, 🀨(an extra $100 for incidentals????)πŸ€”πŸ™„ but the clerk informed us of our options and handle everything for us. Our deposit was quickly returned (2 hours) upon check out. All in All it was a pleasant experience and the service and staff was excellent. *****

Decent hotel, very sub par breakfast and kind of limited pool hours. Nonetheless but I was content with a clean room and attentive front desk. Then I requested to extend stay… they didn’t have room. Then I arranged late checkout. An hoodie later someone was pointing on door yelling about how she is the supervisor and she does not approve late check out. I was in the bath at that moment. Completely ruined the stay by throwing yelling lady and panicked end of bath and mad fast packing at the end.

10+ stays here! This hotel and its staff have been great to work with. With family in the hospital we stayed her for over 16+ nights! Clean, modern, safe, free parking, free breakfast, clean grounds! One of the best places to stay for when a loved one is in the hospital or even just need a bed for the night.

The Inn was nice and clean. The only thing that could have been better was the hot tub pressure. It was hot enough but when I turned on the bubbles part there was no pressure at all.

I usually try to leave an honest review at the hotel I stay at. I have to say, I will be staying here again. My room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. To top it off we traveled four hours to stay in Utah, and my kids were really looking forward to swimming in the swimming pool. We got there late and expected the pool to be closed in 30 minutes from our arrival. however, we were not pushed out of the pool after posted closing time. We were able to swim until we were all tired, and the door to the pool never locked on us which I really appreciate, and I’m sure they knew we swim there for over an hour. There was a used liquor bottle in the bottom cabinet of our suite. But it was all good, sometimes they just missed stuff so we just tossed it.

I've always loved staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms have refrigerators, microwaves and Keurig machines. It's close to the freeway so it's easy to find. The only bad thing is that it's really close to the freeway. Protip: request a room on the south side of the building. There will be less noise and you won't have as much trouble with the flashing billboard next door at night.

I've come to really like Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I've never been disappointed. I paid about $150 and it's understated simple modern clean and comfortable. They also gave me a quiet room in the back and recommended a local restaurant. In fact, one of the reasons I picked this hotel is easy off and on the freeway, lots of amenities nearby, safe neighborhood, and a Costco gas station nearby to boot. But don't forget their hot breakfast! Yum.

We stayed a night here during a snowstorm while visiting SLC. It is located right beside the freeway but we didn’t hear the noise. The room was clean and had a good size. It has a simplistic modern look. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was pretty spacious and clean. My kid jumped in to the indoor swimming pool and had fun since we couldn’t go out anywhere. However, my kid complained about having itchy eyes afterward (maybe because the chemical in the pool?). The breakfast was included and pretty decent.

My check in was very easy. The Young lady Nadia remembered me from the company I work with as now I'm back working there and we use this hotel when in town. Amazing comfortable rooms. Comfortable hotel. I love this place.
