Just stopped at Coaltown Taps for lunch. First time at the resturant. You receive a friendly welcoming feeling when you walk in. The resturant was very clean. Our server was very nice and a great smile. I had the bacon burger and my friend had the chicken sandwich. Both meals were very good and we washed them down with ice cold beer. I highly recommend this great addition to Richlands. Finally a local resturant with great variety of food and great variety of beer at a great price. We will definitely be back.

When I walked in there were about 8 people in the place. I thought “ this isn’t a good sign”. I was pleasantly surprised. There were some items not available but the waitress (Savannah)recommended a sandwich not on the menu. Fried chicken sandwich with bacon, pepperjack cheese and bourbon glaze. I thought it would be a breaded chicken patty but no.. a full breast deep fried! It was delicious and hot. I am in the area for work but if I ever get back this way , I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant. Superb food and service! Well done!

We love this place, the staff is friendly and atmosphere lively. As for the food, the bee sting wings are my favorite and paired with a beer - it's perfect!!! My honey prefers hotter wings and boy was he surprised to find out the bar makes smoked old fashions!

I had the build your own fried chicken-sandwich. I added pimento cheese, Mayo, tomato and pickles. I ordered sweet potato fries that were cut into wedges and drizzled with a sweet and spicy sauce. It was an incredible amount of food and every bite pretty much melted in my mouth. I loved every second of this meal. My server had about 6 tables to herself during a live music event and was perfectly attentive.

We went last night when we arrived from TN for a week of motorcycle riding with other family from PA. The food was fantastic, as was the service. However, while the music was great it was impossible to converse with family that met us from another state. Small venues like that need one singer with his guitar only, no other instruments or speakers. You can't hear or understand the words due to the acoustics inside, you can't order food without screaming at the waiter, it's ridiculous! Put the band outside and let us enjoy the great music AFTER we eat. Otherwise, we would call first to confirm there's NO band inside! Great otherwise! Food was fantastic

Food was excellent once we finally received it...there was a large party ahead of us so service was to slow due to that. The atmosphere was wonderful and clean. The issue that I noticed that will keep me from returning...no one in the kitchen was wearing Food Service Gloves. :-(

I only gave it a 4 star for the fact there weren't many places to park. We ended up parking in the back, which we wasn't sure we were aloud to (we are not from the town). The food was really good, one of the best chicken wraps I had ever eaten. Waitress was a sweetheart ❤️.

What an Incredible Find! Visiting from out of town, this place completed our trip! Great Place! The food, service, music 🎶 were Awesome 😎 Can't wait to get back there! The band is so great, we learned they are booked as musicians on Carnival Cruise in May 2024! Check it all out! Thanks!

Went there for our first trivia night. We didn't win but we had a great time. Great service and great food. I had a hamburger and it was awesome. My husband love the wings. We'll definitely be back

James and his staff do a great job. Adam in the kitchen always makes good food and a good variety. Whether you sit at the bar with Austin or a table, servers like Savannah and others make sure you are taken care of and comfortable!

Outstanding service, delicious food. Attentive server, spoke with the chef and complimented him on superb pulled pork sandwich. Oh! AMPLE portions of food….we always end up with a to-go box for each of us. Good selection of ‘ beverages ‘ too ! Picked up a to-go order on an live entertainment night…..great ‘ boot scoot-en ‘ music. You like good food ? Country music on band night ? Make plans to satisfy your hunger AND enjoy a little dancing. From out of town or the state????
