If you need a place to stay fairly cheap and are prepared to deep clean upon arrival and wash your own bedding the rooms are very spacious. It is 85% company guys on the road and 15% questionable people. I walked in trying to stay positive even after seeing the front of the building literally looked like it had been bombed and was coping until I saw dried blood stains on the sheets and pillowcases, gunk in the kitchen floor and lots of shaved hair in the bathroom sink. I stripped the beds down, went and bought new pillowcases etc., used an entire can of Lysol spraying everything down, cloroxed every single surface and then I felt like I could bring our things inside. If you have a family this is a no go unless you are prepared to sanitize the room and bring your own bedding. The laundry room is filthy with one washer and the dryers didn't work at all. The exterior doors are unlocked at all times, I saw no less than 10 drug deals in the parking lot a day and a woman or women alone? Out of the question. Be prepared to be begged for a cigarette every time you walk out of your room. You can tell they are updating certain things as there is new paint and the carpet isn't the worst I've ever seen but the windows are so grime covered you can barely see outside. The pool was so milky you couldn't see the bottom which means it has not been chlorinated this season one time and is absolutely not sanitary. It feels like someone really gross stayed in the room and then on your way in you passed one another on their way out and nothing was cleaned. I'm going to burn everything I own when I get home and pray for the best. One good thing? Flag Rock is just minutes away and lots of waterfalls, creeks, hiking trails etc are close by. Most men are going to say it's a good place to stay and be fine with it. I however, was not.

Awful, horrible stay. A campground is far nicer. This building is run-down and looks abandoned. It is filthy and smells like old cigarette smoke. Unwashed bath towels, empty toilet paper roll, filthy windows, dirty walls and doors, dirty toilet and tub. Update: Just received e-mail notification that I am banned from this hotel in the future. Well, if you can’t take a bad review, maybe don’t run a business? LOL! I banned myself from ever going near that place again.

This was a very comfortable room. The bed, chair, and office chair were all comfy, sturdy, and added to my comfort and ability to rest and relax after a long drive. The room was a little shabby in the sense of needing updating, but it was clean, and everything worked. I enjoyed my stay. But what made staying here for me, was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. They were patient with me when I couldn't get my key to work several times. I didn't have breakfast there, so I can't say anything about it, but overall this was a pleasant stay for me and at an affordable price.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was dirty so I cleaned it with Clorox wipes. The floor could use a vacuum. The bed was okay and sheets were clean. I had to clean the bathroom because it was dirty it didn't look like anyone had cleaned it. . The pool was green and the hot tub wasn't working. Gross place.

It wasn't as bad as some of the reviews I've read. Yes it had the smell of cigs and weed at times but the people I saw were friendly and no one ever bothered us. Of course we had our very large dog with us which might have had something to do with that. The room was clean-ish. The pool was not in service at the time of our stay. And didn't look like it had been for a while. In norton va there are not many choices .

How in the world could a business like this put a family out on the streets with nowhere to go?🤔 A family that has an elderly mom who is not capable of staying out in the cold. This family is not even from here and are experiencing hard times after having paid for 2 more nights and being thrown out because you tell the Front Desk they have a bug problem and your concerned. Whoever put them out on the streets how do you deal with yourself, how can you even think for one second this is right? How do you sleep at night knowing you did this? My husband & I saw this family and gave them some food to eat and told them to try going to the homeless shelter to have atleast a warm place to stay. This is not a business in my eyes this is a disgrace!!🤬😡

My stay at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites exceeded my expectations. The hotel offers great value for the price. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. The complimentary breakfast provided a variety of options, adding to the overall value of the stay. Conveniently located, Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is an excellent choice for travelers seeking affordability without compromising on quality service. I would gladly return for future stays.

Very disappointed in this location. The room that we stayed at was pretty decent but when we went for breakfast that’s when the shock factor came to play. There was cereal, bread, small donuts that only fed four people, one package donut, SPOILED whole milk (which I tossed out so no one would get sick from drinking it), three different juices to drink and a coffee bar of which didn’t work. There was no hot breakfast or anyone at the counter to greet us. Definitely do not plan to come back to this hotel. They need to put it under new management. The entire place was cold inside and when we went into our room is was also cold and the heaters were off. There was also a towel left that had a brown spot and the showers looked grungy. We also asked for two sets of sheets and a blanket and only got one set. Definitely one of the worst experiences I have had in a very long time.

If you're gonna stay here, book a non-smoking room. The smoking section of the building smells like a nicotine laced landfill. Oh, and bed bugs and roaches. Yeah, I to swap rooms after I found two live bed bugs and more dead ones on and under the mattress. Talked to someone in a room down the hall and they showed me the roaches crawling around their room. If the room in the non-smoking building hadn't been so much nicer and cleaner, I would've slept on the bus despite the below freezing temperature.
