I had no idea what to expect before checking this place out. I only knew of its existence from having read about the legal issues a while back. Figured I'd take my two year olds and give it a shot. And wow! I might have had more fun than they did! I hate that the county has given you such a hard time, I can tell you've really put your heart and soul into this project. I hope other visitors can see this too and keep the donations coming. We easily spent a couple hours here and although my sons aren't old enough to read the names and information at each dinosaur, they still loved looking at everything and the little play area. Thank you for providing this attraction to our area, especially while only running on donations. My personal favorite was the little popcorn fight right at the very end. Some notes for any first-time visitors: strollers are completely doable if you're reasonably able-bodied (at least a single, not sure if a side by side could fit on some of the wooden paths) but some places are quite steep or very bumpy from large buried rocks or exposed tree roots. Most of the displays and signs are within reach from the trail so be mindful of letting your children grab and touch so it will continue to be around for everyone to enjoy. There are several little interactive displays and learning activities for younger children, there's more to this place than just statues of dinosaurs!

This was a nice place to bring the kids to. They really enjoyed it. It's not often you see things on the trust system but this is one of them in the snack area and gift shop. Admission is free but asks for donations to keep the place running so I think that's understandable and should be expected. There are very large dinosaurs there and it's larger than it appears from the outside.

This place is DEFINITELY worth a visit!! It has such an authentic feel to it that is astounding, but you may want to bring bug spray. We stopped by on a whim and we were so glad we did. The entire experience is much larger than you would think, super kid friendly, very well maintained and has expert craftsmanship. It may be just a backyard exhibit, but it's HUGE and is much better than many of the others I've visited over the years....and for the price, you can't beat it! The entire family enjoyed it and we look forward to coming back again! This would be a great place to pack a lunch and plan a day/afternoon trip to, as they even have a picnic area and bathroom facilities. With ample shade and tree coverage on all the trails, it keeps the facility at a very comfortable temperature, even in the middle of summer, and even though it started to rain while we were there, we were able to stay remarkably dry. I'm super thankful to the owners and creators of this place for offering it up to the public to enjoy, like they have. We can't wait to come back again!

This is one of the best hidden gems in the tri-cities! The dinosaurs are amazing, and there is so much attention to detail throughout. It's also just a wonderful place to run around all the trails. My two two-year-olds love it, and we always see both older and younger kids enjoying it when we go. Cannot recommend this place enough! Admission is donation-based.

We visited early last week and were so wonderfully surprised! The dinosaurs fill the trails through the woods and are really impressive. Educational and so much fun, we're recommending it to anyone visiting the area. Can't wait to go back! Love that we could take our dog. Entry is a donation & well worth supporting :)

This is a really cool place. And extra cool points for the fact that it's all done by hand. It's educational on top of it. There is no cost to enter, however you van leave a donation. Its self guided so you can tour at your own pace. We can't wait to go back during spooky season!

What an absolutely perfect adventure to do with your kids. Admission IS free however you can donate what you can. I highly recommend as it appears this individual put a ton of work into making this for the public. My kids 5, 9 and 10 had a bunch of fun. Additionally, the gift shop seems to be ran on an honors system. They do take cash but also have cash app, PayPal and Venmo which was awesome but I did read reviews and brought cash anyways because I did not know they had any of the money apps. What a wonderful day we had. Many thanks to whomever took the time to make this a spot that families could enjoy for an absolutely affordable amount. 10/10.

Whoa!! .. such an amazing place to explore and learn about prehistoric creatures. This was a surprise find, and the whole family really enjoyed it. The interactive exhibit was really cool. The exhibit showcasing the underwater creatures is one of a kind. There is a shaded spot with picnic tables as well, and a gift shop towards the exit. The owners have put their hearts into this attraction, truly one of the best Dino parks we've seen.

I came last week with some family and absolutely enjoyed it. I think my niece and nephews enjoyed it more than I did. You all have done a great job the place and with the detail that you put into the dinosaurs. You can tell alot of hard work has went into this place. We did not get to see all of it but hope to be back another time! Great place to take your family l. Admission is free but donations are highly recommended! Gift shop prices are good too. They take Venmo and Cash App.

Absolutely incredible! Came across this place while searching for things to do on a recent trip to the area. We brought my 4 year old son here as he loves dinosaurs and we’re blown away by the size and scope of the exhibit. The folks who built this attraction definitely put a lot of work into it. We truly enjoyed exploring the outdoor world they have created here. The only thing that could be improved that we noticed, was many of the signs that share information about the dinosaurs were in desperate need of cleaning and maintaining. It was definitely worth the trip though. Be sure to bring cash so you can leave a donation or you can send them a PayPal or CashApp before you leave.

Its a late review, I took my daughters here in summer of 2021. Its donation based and do your own thing. It was really fun though, the girls at the time were 2 and 6. They both had a blast. I enjoyed reading the dinosaur info and walking, and the girls loved running around and seeing just how big everything was. The owner did a great job with the sculptures. It has some cute little kid rides and things, and a picnic area. The gift shop was honor system based which I was surprised about. I think we spent at least 2 hours there. I want to go back again this summer!

We enjoyed this very well put together and educational display of dinosaurs! I was very impressed with the signs posted detailing cool information about each dinosaur. It's free but do donate some money to help this place stay open. Will definitely come back again in the future!

IT WAS A BLAST! The dinosaurs are ALL VERY DETAILED and so lifelike! ALOT of care and attention went into this place! Came all the way from Florida, and was not disappointed in the very least! They also have a gift shop, ofcourse we had to buy a few things :) WILL RETURN! GREAT JOB OWNERS!!! (Yes, the donation was so worth it as well!)

We had an amazing time!! The art and the wonderful exhibits makes this walking place so awesome! Just take my money! It's a free park that accepts donations as they are a completely non profit. I can't wait for the fall to do this Halloween style. Absolutely amazing! I can't tell you how awesome this place is, and pictures can't so it justice!

It's a privately run, homemade dinosaur park! Pretty impressive considering all that, and it's run by donations. Admission is free, just leave a donation for these folks, they've earned it! It's worth seeing, especially if you have kids, you can walk through it all in less than an hour. I wish more people could do stuff like this, living out one of my childhood dreams!

We loved it! Made for such a memorable “family day” as we like to call them. Our 2 year old had the best time. We will definitely go back! A great place to go as a family or anyone looking for a new or different activity. Thank you for providing a relaxed atmosphere! It was super!

Awesome little park, the owner really did a great job on the sculptures and the walking paths. Our 3 year old was excited at every corner and even we adults were floored by the size and design of the dinosaurs. The informational signs are nice too and all the natural plants and trees work really well with the whole exhibit. Add in the free admission and this is an absolute must-see for dinosaur loving kids! Absolutely would come back, especially for the haunted theme in the fall!

This was an awesome find. It is free but they do take donations and it's well worth donating. The owners invested real heart into their exhibit and you can tell they really know their history. The walk through the property was very relaxing and we were blessed with good weather. I would highly recommend stopping by and taking a walk through it!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. A donation based attraction that was humongous. We found it on google maps and it was a little bit out of the way but we’re so glad that we stopped by. Don’t skip this place. It’s one of a kind.

This place ROCKS!!!!! Amazingly impressive. This person has put the kind of effort in this place that around here you just don't see a whole lot. I made a 23 minute video while walking through. Unfortunately I cannot seem to upload it just yet. All I can say is make your day better! Stop by this place.

I love this place to walk and take the grandkids. All dinosaurs are made by the owner. There is no charge, but we always leave a donation. It is very educational, and paths are self guided and well kept. There is also a little gift store with amazing fun and educational toys. Everything here is provided by the owner with donations and honor sales of merchandise.

Most amazing place to have fun looking and learning about dinosaurs! I've been going since I was a kid and I'm still going as an adult and still plan to do so for many more years! I hope I can bring my kids one day as other people bring theirs! It's a truly amazing and wonderful place to be and I absolutely love it, would highly recommend it to anybody!

A very nice park to take your kids for a walk if they love dinosaurs! It's free to enter. You can donate if you want. There is also a gift shop where you can buy some gifts. If you're a mosquito magnet, wear repellent and long sleeves and pants if you go during warmer weather. There are lots of trees, plants and some standing water so that's why there are a lot of bugs there. The dinosaurs are different sizes and kinds. My kids really enjoyed it.

  • 5/5 Sophielarue P. 1 year ago on Google
Free! Donations accepted. Great dinosaurs to see. Lots of dinosaurs in a beautiful wooded area that you view at your own pace. Has a gift store on the honor system. Wish we could have seen all of Halloween decorations but it was closed.

What a cool place! We were visiting the area and seen this on Google maps, we thought we'd check it out, and I'm so glad we did! The realistic dinosaurs combined with the area they are in and the dinosaur sounds made it seem very real! I hope you can keep this open for all the dinosaur lovers out there.

My 2 and 6 year olds had a blast! Heck, even my husband and I had a blast. He and I said "oh wow!" way more than the kids did. We drove over from Boone and was ABSOLUTELY worth it. The only thing I wish is that we had gotten there sooner so we could walk the park a second time! We will be back when we are in the area again.

Very nice place. My wife and I took our 9 and 10 year old grandsons and they absolutely loved it. I was impressed by the way that they were able to tell me what kind of dinosaur it was before I got to read the plaque in front of it. No entry fee, just a donation. Stop by and visit this place if you have kids or grandkids that are in to dinosaurs.
