Our experience here was so-so. It has a lot of charm and the service was overall just fine, but sadly the food left a bit to be desired. Fries with my burger were soggy, and my date’s Bolognese was one of the most bland dishes I think I have ever been served in NYC. The drinks were just okay too, nothing to write home about. The appetizers were good. Beet salad and a side of brussel sprouts. Maybe we came at an off time, we probably won’t come back but you never know. Also one note, these prices are curiously high! There was a glass of wine on the menu that was $22, and we googled the wine and it was $37 a bottle? We eat out enough to know if you’re charging $22 a glass that better be a $60-$70 bottle retail! C’mon you’re only supposed to rip us off a little bit when it comes to drink prices 😉

I came here for the first time with my parents tonight. We sat outside and the whole atmosphere was lovely and the food was great. We ordered wine along with the mushroom bruschetta and crispy artichokes to start, which were delicious, and the mains were excellent as well! The staff were really friendly, and while we waited for our desert they brought us a round of limoncellos :) Had the tiramisu and Nutella crepe for desert, which were great. We will definitely come back soon.

I came here with my friends and the owner treated us very well, it was a great time. The food was very good, the burger was great. The atmosphere was very well done and a great spot to get dinner. Highly recommend!

This has become one of my most favorite restaurants in all of NYC. I’ve been here around five times, and no joke, every dish I’ve had is insanely delicious and well thought out (many of the dishes are recipes from Elis’ family). The service is great, Elis is extremely attentive and makes you feel like you’re at home. The ambiance is chill and quaint and the wine list is reasonably priced and paired perfectly upon request. This place is perfect for date night, but I’ll admit that the food is so good that I’ve ordered pick up during the week. TRY THE BRISKET BURGER and their specials!!! You will not regret it.

Stopped by here for dinner with some friends. We had the tuna tartare, beef carpaccio, lamb chops, brisket burger, and lamb sliders. The sliders were unexpectedly amazing and the lamb chops were really good too. The burger stands out as well, one of the best burgers I’ve had. Perfect spot for a romantic evening or a bite with friends. The margarita and the moscow mule were great drinks as well. 5 stars deserved

Elis Wine bar is where we come for our birthdays and anniversary ❤️ order the spaghetti & clams every time! Such a beautiful restaurant, with big windows that open up all the way and wonderful romantic decor. The owners are so nice and always remember us. Its always a special treat to we look forward to.

I was tempted to gatekeep the happy hour here but it’s too good not to share, they have best oyster happy hour I’ve been to in the city (with maybe the only dollar oysters I trust). The other happy hour items are great too, and the staff get a bit busy but they’re so kind. Will definitely be returning
