👍👍 I am unable to properly articulate the joy my taste buds feel at this moment. I’ve had many types of vegan foods in the last 20yrs but these people took it to another level. I recommend trying everything on the menu at least once. People often mention vegan, good, delicious, menu, order, burger, recommend, Dominican, staff, chimi,

Been trying to come here for a while, especially since I'm Dominican and from the area. I'll start off by saying that the empandas are really good. The macaroni and ground protein was probably my favorite out of the 3 I got. The patacon was good, but I felt like it needed something, maybe next time I'll get it with bread instead of the plantain bun. The chowfan seemed like an interesting choice as well, but after trying it, I wasn't a fan. I'm not vegan, so my personal preference would've been if it had tofu or something that mimics meat, I felt too much veggies in my order, although others wouldn't mind. I definitely want to come back and try the other stuff! Also, the staff is super nice.

I was really excited to see a vegan version of the cultural food in this area. Not just an option without meat but real dishes. Unfortunately for me, it was a miss when I went. The pastelito was mush. The inside stuff was blended together but I expected to taste the plantains, ‘cheese’ and ‘beef’. There was no texture, which I didn’t enjoy. However, the flavors were good. The patacon was really dry and the ‘meat’ was just ok. They did make a hole in the lid so that the patacon would not become soggy from the heat, which gives them bonus points! Overall, I was totally disappointed but willing to go back and try something else. I want to find something totally delicious here. Small inside seating, really nice decor but only accepts cash.

Very fresh food. Not everything is vegan meat replacements like at a lot of vegan restaurants. They have many options for different tastes. Everything tasted very authentic. I had the quinoa tostadas and they were excellent. The staff was very friendly as well.

I finally made it to this spot, that I’ve wanted to check out for a while. This charming, little hidden Jewel in uptown got me craving for more. Great prices! Amazing service (thank you Luna for all your attentions). I wanted to order almost everything from the menu. I started off with two of their empanadas! Get the Yaroa! What an explosion of flavors! I then opted for the chimi, which is a typical Dominican sandwich! a must try! As an entree I got the pulled b@ff plater (jackfruit) with rice, black beans, sweet plantains and avocado/ cabbage salad! It was so yummy. I washed everything down with one of their home made juices, the tamarind one! Wow! After a food coma I still took 3 more dishes to go! As I live in queens and wanted more of these Dominican flavors tomorrow as well. I will be def coming back and checking out their Brooklyn location! If you are looking for tasty, plant based cuisine, don’t forget to stop by! You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Remember people, vegan food is FOOD. You don’t have to be Vegan to enjoy it. Quesadillas, nachos, and the burger were all banging. Washed it down with some home made passion fruit juice. Sad I don’t have many pictures as I would like as we ate everything so quickly. All they need is a dining area and they are set. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu!

Very hearty, super flavorful, filling, make-your-stomach-and-soul-feeling good kind of food. Portions are very generous, people working there - amicable and welcoming ! Quality of the food is consistently great. What I personally appreciate is that the owner always listening to customers’ feedback, continuously adds up delicious NEW items on the menu, without sacrificing the quality ! A Must-go place! Personal favourites are : yaroa empañadas, burritos, mofonguitos

Delicious vegan, 100% plant based fast food. Affordable prices, good portions. Service was kind and fast, not crowded. Gay friendly. Only downside was lack of bathroom.

NVS Burrito Bowl - really delicious 9.1/10 The chimi nsv - 9.6/10 For $10 you can’t beat it. Mofonguitos Con “quinoa carne” - 9/10 would be a 10/10 if the plantain shell was fried a little crispier.

The best vegan food I’ve had in my life. Such a super friendly staff, happy to give us tourists advice on the menu. The food was divine, and had everything I could hope for. My partner isn’t vegan and they found plenty to enjoy. If you’re in the area, you have to try this!! 10/10

I took one bite of the plátano power sandwhich (aka un chimi but with a tostón bun) and fell in love. It was delicious and I'm already planning to get the same thing and try the Mac n cheese. Definitely a must visit especially if you're Dominican and really really trying your hardest to go vegan 😅✌🏻 I will saw it was smaller and pricier than I was expecting from the pictures but I'm guessing that's just inflatian and it being vegan 🥲

I got food delivered and it did not disappoint. Tons of flavor in every bite. They take a lot of care to add in so many of the nutritious elements Dominican food naturally has to offer. Love this spot - strongly recommend for anyone, non-vegans and vegans alike!

Brooklyn Location (2nd time posting this review on here, not sure where my previous post went and plus I know everyone does not have the happy cow app) Five stars across for everything and that's not a common thing for me to do! Took myself on date here after work not long ago and I enjoyed it all. I got the NSV Burrito that comes with homemade tortilla chips😋😍and I got a side of fries (oh I had a Mac and cheese empanada, not pictured because I was hungry and I had that before I got what's pictured). These are the things I enjoyed about it: ✨The food✨ ✅They have alternative options for everyone and I don't have to get the meat or grain substitute listed on what I want. The BIG win 🏆for me was having RED QUINOA🙌🏿 ✅Everything I had was well seasoned and fresh ✅The sauce that came on my wrap plus the extra side of the cilantro sauce I purchased 😍 ✅Those homemade chips😍😍& fries ✅The portions were great ✨The place✨ ✅It's not so far from the train/bus ✅The flow, space and decor of the restaurant on point‼️ ✅The electronic menu display/video did me justice. I got extra sauce because I saw the owner pouring some on her wrap in the video😄 ✅The staff💜the house front rep/cashier/hostess the evening I was there was cool like the other side of the pillow with my 21 questions So go and check them out ASAP!

Wanted to try a new spot for lunch with a co-worker who is vegan. I eat vegan at times. I dont classify myself as such. I just love good food (periodt). If you are a vegan, vegetarian, good-food lover..... order or stop by this place. We ordered from GrubHub, and it was deee-lish-ooous! It's so good, so authentic. I loved every bite! We had the Mofonguitos- wow, you gotta try this. It had "quinoa-meat." There is no foolishness here, just good ingredients that you can see and taste. There's 2 to an order so my co-worker and I had one each. We then had the black bean burger (formerly veganator) it had Seitan, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, vegan cheese, pickles, and a TRUE black-bean burger! This was no franken-beyond-previously-known-as-food here. It was delightful. Fyi- I do love a good beyond/morningstar burger at times. But this burger! made with black beans and brown rice (per the menu), it was perfectly blended smooth, and EVERY bite was delicious. Now, I did remove the pickles as Im just not a pickle-in-my-food kinda girl. I had to try the seitan by itself in order to really taste it, but overall, I was NOT disappointed. It was a good burger. And even better, you dont need ketchup! I tried it with and without. Also, the burger came with fries....meh. It was a GrubHub order, and the order came quickly. However, unless my fries are piping hot, it doesn't matter where I get them from. I won't be impressed. I would def recommend anyone out there to give this place a try. Look at their menu and decide. But def try the Monfonguitos to start off! Enjoy!

Let me tell you how I have missed eating a chimi so bad and I could finally eat a vegan one. My heart ❤️ I was so excited. I also had some delicious empanadas. They were 3 for $10 and I thought that was great. They were jam packed and loved every bite. Will definitely be ordering from there again!

I had El Plato, it came with White Rice, Black Beans w/cilantro sprinkles, Amarillos, Avocado (cut like a rose) Portobello Mushrooms sautéed w/ Red & Green Bell Peppers. Also had a Jack Pulled BBQ, it was very tasty. The place is Tiny but cute. I’d come again, during 5pm rush.

The chimi was delicious and large (in the pic I had already eaten half of the sandwich)! And staff was personable and friendly! I definitely want to return to try more of their amazing menu items! And I'm not even vegan!

Delicious and unique vegan food! Generous portions and flexible menu options. Ordered from here a few times and ate there in person with visiting international (vegan) family today. The owner could not have been more gracious!

Amazing delicious vegan takeout in the heights! I sometimes have lower expectations for all-vegan menus but don’t be fooled- this place goes all out with flavor and textures in their fresh food! Got the truffle Mac and cheese sandwich, mofonguitos (the omnivore in the group kept looking for the beef nuggets in there- he couldn’t believe a vegan dish would have this much flavor!), and the lemon cupcake- everything was perfect. 10/10 would recommend. Oh and their tshirt shop is also hilarious and great.

I’m so happy about the opening of Vegan Quick bites! I’ve loved Next Stop Vegan food for years and now having a quick access closer to home is wonderful. It’s like vegan Thanksgiving. The atmosphere, the vibes and the food are top notch. I recommend getting more than one bowl and mix up all the yummy options. Top it off with some empanadas and you’re good to go. Delicious vegan Dominican food for everyone!
