I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Carbon on 23rd March 2018. It was our last night in Accra and we were dressed to impress... however I could not believe my ears when the doorman told me that we couldn't enter because I had flat sandals on!! Beautiful gold expensive sandals I might add. When I questioned the doorman said flat sandals are a safety risk incase a glass falls on my foot....I guess a glass would just bounce of someone in heeled sandals? What pretentious, misogynistic rubbish! lol Anyhow we decided to visit a club called 'Twist' for our final night in Ghana, a great night club with a welcoming atmosphere, good music and tasty cocktails.... If you are considering going to Carbon, don't bother! There are much nicer clubs in Accra that reflect the welcoming and unpretentious nature if Ghana....

Action there still good but dies early on Fridays. Thursday action is massive and best in Accra.

If you are used to wearing normal shoes and not high heels, and if you have basic values as treating humans as equals, do not go here...

This nightclub has two indoor areas and an outdoor smoking permitted area. I noticed an effective use of mirrors to give the illusion of more space. Service from the bartenders was good and attentive. And I thought the DJ transitioned very well between western and African hip hop tracks. Also, it was great that secured parking was available at the Stanbic Heights lot, although that's charged by the time spent parked there.

Good to know in advance that Saturday nights aren’t the dance nights. Just mainly intended for lounging on that night.

Please do not ever go to this establishment. My sister and I had been too several night clubs and lounges since we had visited Ghana. On our last night we decided to come here and it was the worst night of our lives. The drinks were watered down and men attacked my sister and I in the club while everyone just starred and did not come to our aide. When security finally arrived instead of removing the men that brutally attacked us they removed us, they said it was for our safety. They ended up only kicking out one of the men that attacked us, everyone else was free to party like nothing ever happened. The owner himself came, apologized, and offered us VIP for the test of the night. My sister and I only felt safe when we were with the head of security, but still felt uncomfortable. The next morning we were covered in bruises and my sister had a concussion. Please for your safety women do not go to this club.

Atmosphere and service.... 5star, but the DJ wasn't up to par. Music content was very poor

Worst place to be,I will give it a negative(-1)one if there is a chance.The bouncers are rude and greedy as well, especially one tall built muscle bouncer who lied that the club is opened to go and took 50ghc without any ticket or anything showing a prove of entry because it was my first time and when I asked he said I should just go.i stepped in to oasis lounge leading to the club,only to found out it was closed and I can't enter till when they can't even confirm.I asked for my money back and this guy tried to bully me and even went ahead to threat me by saying he will slap me if I don't leave.All the workers seems scared of him and no one seems to show me where the manager is till a girl there tried to let me speak to the manager.As soon as he realised the intensity of his crime if the manager find out, he gave the money to my partner as quickly as possible and with shame sacking as to leave the premises before the manager find out. People should take comment serious because i could have avoided that if I had taken some of the reviews here serious

Carbon is an upscale place with good music great ambience and love their shisha as well even tho it's sooo pricy

If there was a zero-star rating, I'll give it. Rude bouncers with no respect. Small area and difficult to turn when packed. Areas reserved makes free-seating a big problem and even interior staff don't address with courtesy. I would recommend better places where you would have more value for your money. Owned by a popular musician but doesn't mean the staff should treat customers with disrespect.

Came back home to Ghana for small vacation &wanted to explore the clubs in Ghana, google suggested this one read some reviews and it seemed very ok, & it was my first time clubbing in Ghana, I went to this club with my friend was so excited due to the reviews I read, I reached there & had to pay 20 cedis EACH gate fee, but it was an celebrity bday that was celebrating it there so, i was like maybe because of that.. &oh my I have never in my life met such a dj that play like the one i met yesterday night. How can u play a beginning of a song & 3-5 SECONDS( LITERALLY)skip to another song, & this went on the whole night with all the songs. i still tried to be positive of the situation & tried to order a drink.. couldn't find a waitress..later I did & seemed like there was one Waitress there.. and she oh my, how her costumer service skills sucked🤦🏾‍♀️just rude. & For a big nice looking club like this u would expect them to have nice Washing rooms .. Nope they didnt cause I couldnt lock any of the washing rooms so, if u wanna ease urself ,u cant even lock the door and this is with all the washing rooms. No toilet paper, later in the middle in the washing room the light went off in the whole club.. after 30 mins later the light came back on.. after all the money I spent with drinks etc, place u would expect like atleast good costumer service..anyway less on learned
