Well-run
boutique
hotel
with
super
efficient
and
helpful
front
desk
staff.
Top
quality
furnishings
in
spacious
and
clean
rooms:
wide
bed,
super
chilling
air
conditioning
and
fridge,
large
TV
with
good
range
of
channels,
armchair
and
small
table,
desk
and
chair.
Bathroom:
large
ensuite
with
good
shower
and
toilet
fittings.
Vanity
unit
really
evokes
memories
of
boutique
hotels
in
the
UK!
Due
to
last
minute
change
in
our
itinerary,
had
to
unexpectedly
find
accommodation
for
one
night
in
Techniman.
Found
Villa
Kam
Hotel
on
Google
and
based
on
good
reviews
gave
them
a
call.
Offered
an
upgrade
from
standard
to
executive
room
by
the
owner
over
the
phone
which
impressed
and
was
appreciated.
Not
sure
if
catering
has
been
outsourced,
but
the
bad
quality
food
and
ordering
process
seems
in
stark
contrast
to
the
way
the
rest
of
the
hotel
is
run.
From
the
badly
written
menu
itself
(samosa
and
spring
rolls
are
listed
under
Desserts?)
to
the
unprofessional
room
service
staff
(inadequate
phone
manner,
lack
of
comprehension,
lack
of
serving
skills)
to
getting
tomato
soup
with
fresh
cucumbers
swimming
in
it
was
confusing
to
say
the
least.
The
breakfast
on
the
other
hand
was
the
best
we
had
on
the
entire
trip:
fresh
orange
slices,
baked
beans,
sausages,
omelette
and
toast,
see
photo!
Not
the
cheapest,
but
a
clean,
quiet
and
well
run
place
to
stay
in
Techniman.
