I liked the quiet atmosphere on a Friday afternoon. No loud music. Good for a lunch meet-up with colleagues, family and friends. Houseflies outdoors were quite a nuisance when eating my yummy Banku & tilapia 🙂

Food is always delicious. Local food is fantastic -banku, fufu, the soups and stews are perfect. Great pizzas and seafood and smoker and BBQ. The kebabs are so good. It's our go-to restaurant for family and guests. Great for a large party or on your own. Open for lunch, live music in the evenings. Lovely, large open air restaurant with flexible layout.

Food arrives pretty quick, drinks too. Great ambiance and live band on Fridays. Service can be a tad slow. Definitely a warm up spot to check out.

I passed through for dinner and it was amazing. The food took a while but I guess it was because of the mixed vegetable sauce. The ambience was good though when the lights went off,it took too long for the generator to be switched on. Oh and we watched the Ghana-SA match so clearly.

Massive improvement on ambience

Great food and nice atmosphere. I went there two times during my trip and they didn't disappoint. I must say of you go at night, be sure to bring some mosquito repellent as I got bit quite a few times. That's the reason for only 4 stars. The food was excellent.

Nice experience an open air venue with smooth jazz and other music, they have live bands on Friday. With a menu comprised of local as well as international delights I'm sure you'll find something to suit your pallette. The servers are classy and as the legendary Muhammad Ali once said before a fight "And the price is right!" very reasonable priced food & drinks - my type of place!!!!

The waiting service is good and I enjoyed their food too. If you are in Sakumono and you want to have a cool time in a semi classic environment with low prices the Fridays Bar and restaurant is the choice. Their grilled guinea fowl is a delight.

This is a place I've known for more than 20yrs. And every time I visit they have upgraded the place and it's looking more beautiful and modern. This place have varieties of local dishes and drinks. Their prices are affordable and the average person can afford to eat there.

Very large sitting area, great music from the DJ and great food also, parking space isn't a problem as well and security is assured.

The fried rice and meat pie sold there is something to literally kill for??❤. Everything of theirs is just on point. I just wish they had a way bigger place as well as several branches. Can tell they're renovating the entirety of the place cos it's like a hundred and fifty (150) meters from my home. Don't pass it by.

The service consistency is poor. I was there yesterday and we got served immediately- our orders were taken and the food was fresh and delicious. Making me return tonight only to wait for almost 20 minutes before being attended to. As if that wasn’t enough, the food was terrible. Holes in the yam, some looking burnt and stuff. Very off-putting. Some consistency in service delivery and the meals will really be great!

The best place life always gets better

Good music, good food and good service. As the name implies, there's no better place to be on Friday night than Fridays. The only challenge I had was with parking. Had to park very far away and walk several meters to and from the premises. But there were security men all over to safeguard lives and property.

The professionalism from those serving was remarkable! I don’t remember the last time I went to a place and after I had placed my order, the one attending to me goes over my order with me again in a polite and assertive way with a great smile on her face. The food also tastes great! I didn’t have the Khebab today, but their Khebabs are urban legends.

Love this place. So I love Guinea Fowl. This is the place to get that! For the most part it's clean and the people take care in how they handle the food. I would say though that the workers shouldn't lay down and sleep at the counter where the food is. This doesn't look good at all. I took one star for that.

Went to eat and the grilled meat was awful. Enjoyed the chicken fries rice and the beef fried rice too. Too many flies bothering us while eating outside. The place was hot too. Service was okay

Ambiance is very cool after after the renovation. Their prices are also reasonable. The Only issue we had is the roasted guinea fowl we ordered. One part tasted alright and another didn't. Aside that, Fridays is a very cool place to hang out.

Friday's at Sakumono has been completely renovated. I've been a patron for at least 15 years. The place can admit at least a quarter more customers than the previous arrangement. Their meals are very tasty. The food ranges from continental to all kinds local dishes. Their live band session on weekends is a blast and a must experience. Their floor manager is very effective. I encountered him one time, a very dutiful, humble and respectful young man. He is able to serve, clean the tables, take orders to hasten the waiting times for customers. I commend him highly. Security at the car park is friendly and respectful. Their take out section on the edge of the establishment is a great idea. You don't have to walk through the many customers on the grounds eating, just to pick up or place your take out order. Thumbs up to the management for a revived Fridays experience.....not only on meals but on customer relations as well.

On the positive side. This place is spacious and never overly crowded. It has semi-private dining arrears and the food is fresh. On the other hand, their local menu is not offered in the night, there is a real mosquito issue which makes it difficult during the rainy seasons. Also when it rains, it floods as the centre is open.

I stay a block away from the place anytime I visit Ghana. I have visited the place before but did not visit the place this time although I liked it in the past. I gave them two stars because of the noise they make in the residential area. Something has to be done about the loud music, maybe a noise or sound canceling system or enclose the place so residents will be able to sleep, playing music till 2a.m. or 3a.m. in the morning is ridiculous.

I've known this localized but trendy hangout way back over 20years. Always packed with happy people. The draw then was their perfect grilled spicy guinea fouls. Lost touch with the base all over those years, but when I went back few days ago, it still had its vigor and vibe. A nice place to hangout with enough to eat, drink and party. Outside serene, inside joy. Try it.

It a very nice place to whine down. You can meet and have business discussion over a meal. You go on a date. And if you're a cooperate organisation you could book the entire place for a buffet. I personally left my wallet there for like an hour makeing a phone call but nobody took it. Check it out and thank me later.

Very cozy and comfortable, Fridays is a place to be. They have a cute upper room that caters to your privacy....very nice bar with hot bouncers! Food was great and service was a little strained due to the loud music...food was also delivered 10 minutes of ordering...the cocktail I had was very sweet even till the end...the ice didn't dilute the drink. ,,🥳🥳🥳🥳 That's a huge plus for them! The live band too was just mesmerising! A lot of excitement pumping through the air!! It's a place to be on Friday!!🥂
