Lovely
building,
has
so
much
potential
to
be
a
great
hotel
but
is
let
down
by
poor
organisation,
under
maintenance,
demoralised
staff
and
sloppy
service.
Wouldn't
stay
here
again.
Our
original
suite
was
double
booked,
we
were
shown
rooms
to
consider
but
they
stank
of
damp.
Eventually
we
were
upgraded
to
the
next
suit
size
at
no
extra
charge,
for
this
we
awarded
the
one
star.
(Having
a
suite
was
fundamental
to
our
reason
for
staying).
From
there
it
was
downhill.
The
solar
powered
hot
water
system
does
not
work,
so
be
prepared
for
cold
showers
anytime
the
sun
hasn't
been
blazing
hot
for
hours
on
end.
The
bathroom
could
have
done
with
re-grouting,
I
don't
expect
to
see
mould
in
a
3*
hotel.
Some
staff
were
helpful
(reception),
others
were
clearly
terrified
of
their
boss.
You
could
have
cut
the
atmosphere
with
a
knife
once
the
restaurant
manager
arrived,
staff
turned
off
their
personalities
and
become
trembling
zombies
in
her
presence.
Special
shout
out
to
the
lady
in
the
supermarket
next
door
(
it's
part
of
the
hotel
complex),
for
her
exceeding
patience
with
my
exacting
husband.
π
Location
is
great,
very
close
to
Sunyani
Town
centre,
but
far
enough
to
be
peaceful
(when
the
discos
aren't
on).
Note
to
the
owners,
don't
run
this
place
any
further
into
the
ground
-
invest
in
generators,
sort
the
damp
issues
and
do
something
to
enthuse
your
staff.
