Stayed here last month. Nice, Cozy hotel, suitable for tourists and businesses travelers both. I visited Ghana for business meetings and hence it was suitable for me. The hotel management was quite supportive and when I had issues with the security locker in my room and hence they transferred me to a new room. Loved their positive attitude and continued support.

Very neat, very beautiful. This place just catches your eye right the moment you look at it. It has a nice and large compound. Love the fact that they grew trees here and the location is just perfect.

I HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE THERE Communication there is very terrible!!! We went there to celebrate and our celebration got DESTROYED all because of what they termed “MISCOMMUNICATION” I mean how do you Forget to mention to people who have ordered for bottles of Hennessy that instead of paying for the bottle you will be charged for each shot in the bottle. I MEAN HOW!!! To top it up they were very rude in solving the issue. HOW DO YOU PURCHASE BOTTLES AND YOU ARE ASKED TO PAY FOR EACH SHOT IN THE BOTTLE!!!

Great hotel. Had a wonderful stay. I did not need to even leave the hotel for two days. From shops available to car rental to food. Bathroom is standard and clean. Location is just excellently placed.

Very rude security man and receptionist we met. I was disappointed at their buffet but great service from a lady called Matilda who was super nice as well as Nana Yaw who calmed us down from leaving the place when were treated badly at the entrance.

Golden Tulip was grand. My wife really loved the theme there. Although, we disagreed on the dampness of our room, we agreed that the hotel may be falling behind on general maintenance if it wants to remain amongst the best of the best. The food and restaurant was 10/10, however.

I like this place, the workers are kind and respectful. The hotel is clean. Some rooms are better than others. For example, one room has better air conditioning, a tub and a steamy bathroom. The other room: only a shower no steamyness and minimal AC. The food was good, albeit expensive. The grounds were well kept. The gym and tennis courts are cool. I met interesting people here.

Was here twice during my stay in Accra, once for an all you can eat Sunday buffet and the other time was for spending my last night in Ghana in the hotel proper. The food on offer on both occasions was excellent, well presented, delicious and filling. Hats off to the Chefs. I had the some traditional Ghanaian dishes for the buffet, and tried an all day British style breakfast which went down very well with a nice cup of tea. I enjoyed my last night in The Golden Tulip, with live music, over a few beers and cocktails, in good company it was great. The hotel has a nice pool, with bar, and also a well served and equipped restaurant. The room I stayed in was nice and clean, spacious enough, and the bed was very comfy for the nights sleep. I also managed to get my hair cut in the hotel as well as they also offer that service, which is exactly what I was looking for..... Staff friendly, hotel has everything you would expect a top class hotel to have, food and drinks served quickly, efficiently and all tasting good. I must also say I found the price very affordable considering the range of services available within the hotel and for what you pay for, a good price. Overall, I enjoyed my times in the Golden Tulip.

I had a short stay here for a conference and it was really lovely. First the close proximity to the airport is great and there's a supermarket in walking distance as well. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is amazing and there are a lot of options at your disposal. I also loved the gym as it is well equipped and the personal trainer was friendly and helpful too.

I had lunch with a friend. I got her take on the rooms. They were adequate but nothing special. Whilst having lunch we were required to wear a mask, which is understandable. My friend is exempt from wearing for medical reasons but she complied. However as usual there was a man who was well known to the staff, who was not asked to wear the mask and he was not wearing one, each time he went for food. Equality springs to mind. I won't go back because I want to be treated the same as everyone else. The deserts need to be covered because of insects helping themselves. The staff were attentive and food variety and taste were above average. A little costly but I think it was worth it for a buffet.

Food was great. Lots of local dishes especially during their Sunday lunch. The ambience was wonderful and the way the band celebrates the birthdays of guests is really cool. They mention your name sing for you and you get to cut a cake. Keep up the good work Lancaster.

I had a business lunch with some friends and associates...so I can only comment on the food and drinks. It was a great experience....the food worked its magic and levelled up all heads. The lunch meeting was a great success and everyone was happy.

Security is taken very seriously at the gates and entrance. 60cedis pies are massive! Better shared than consumed individually. The buffet was also good, but there were not a lot of dessert options. This needs to be worked ON..

The experience was a lot better than I had anticipated. I got to the hotel earlier than normal check in and they kept me waiting for quite a while for a room, Aldo no adapters available but all in all a pleasant surprise. Food was also generally good.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at ever out of more than 30 countries I have visited. Stayed recently for 10 days, and they changed our room 4 times for different reasons. The first one being they gave us a lower category room on our first night than what we had booked and then because of their own stupidity. The worst part is the staff was not even slightly apologetic and made me feel like they were doing me a huge favour. When I complained to the Manager (unimpressive guy) he habded me a feedback form! Room are DIRTY & towels smelled - wont ever stay herw again not even for free!

Honestly this could be a great hotel : it has the space, the materials and the huge majority of the staff is dedicated to pleasing the customers (they deserve 5 stars). However, in my humble opinion after 17 days there, a few of them just need to GO.. They make everything harder for everyone (customers and staff included), they're rude, bitter (maybe sad ?) and seem to have created an underground management. They manage to ruin things and then hide so that others take responsibility for their actions and get yelled at. Until these people are gone, this hotel will stay average or become worst.

Hotel unfortunate not like years ago... I have to move between two rooms... If you come for business trip not i recoomend it is not the first choice for you ... Internet not good at all, shower and water not good as water pressure is extremly low. Do not Stay in rooms back to tennis / GYM area as it os noisy. Air condition for first room was not working and 2nd one have to freeze because it is on/ off only no adjust for temp.

Pro's: -quite -clean -coffee machine inhouse. -buffet food quality -majority of staff is friendly with a decent hospital smile Con's -the irony of having cheap and king in 1 sentence. I.e was very cheap of them attaching 2 single beds and 2 single mattresses instead of a king size bed. -room service is a nightmare. 55mins and 2 incorrect deliveries for a can of Coca Cola. It must be tough being them. - buffet was too repetitive over 3 visits. - had to negotiate that 1 small bottle of water is not sufficient for a kitten; let alone an adult!

It says on their website that their pool price is 50 cedis but it was 80 cedis when I arrived but I still stayed and had a great. They have to update the price on their website

Lancaster has really nice cakes you can order for birthdays or any special occasions however they can highly disappoint you when you order. Although payments ate to be made before orders are processed...thus does not guarantee your cake will be ready when you want it. This place has turned into a shambles since new management has taken over, this hotel has had a 30 year heritage as one of the best venues in accra. we were subject to a dismal hosting event. the level of service is not good enough although friendly they did not have adequate training. we had booked a special service for a birthday event, members of our party were not served food for over an hour even though the venue was very quiet. We had to constantly tell the team and management how to do their job. you could not tell it was a birthday event. this is after the venue persistently tried to over charge us. The management needs to be held responsible for the decline in service and cleanliness of the venue. think twice before booking here.

I was there with my husband several months back on a week day for their lunch buffet. We enjoyed it so very much. However, 2weeks ago when I went back for Sunday lunch buffet, I was blown away! The Sunday lunch buffet is beyond delicious...both continental and local..I'll definitely go back soon🥰I still dream of the goat light soup and potato salad😍

1st of January buffet (evening) was below standard. Got there around 8pm and the food was almost not there. We didn't get anyone to attend to us so we helped ourselves. Even when we were done eating it took us close to 45 minutes to get a waiter to bill us and receive the money. The tables were left unattended to, dirty plates and glasses left on the tables, creating such an unpleasant environment for eating and drinking. My evening was marred and had to leave for another restaurant .

Strange hotel, we arrived late at night and had to wait more than an hour for our room to be ready. Because it was so late, the reception area and bar were deserted and the place looked a bit forlorn. However, we were upgraded to a chalet which was lovely. I was woken at 5am by the call to prayer from the mosque next door, which didn't bother me, but i could imagine it might be a problem for other guests. The place looked much more inviting in daylight, and the pool area is lovely. I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet breakfast and dinner. It's a shame there isn't an 'a la carte' option as we ate the same thing every day (we were hosting a conference at the hotel). On our last evening it rained heavily and water was dripping heavily into the lounge area and the floor was flooded. We had to move tables twice, and move our luggage. No one came to mop up until we asked them to, so not what i would have expected from a 4 star

I was there for weekend breakfast buffet. Clean environment, excellent food and coordial server. I will be going back again and again!

I am doing this review based on a dinner experience. This was my first dinner experience in Ghana. The hotel’s restaurant was was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Food selection was buffet style with many great choices. Attendants were attentive and quick when needed. I really enjoyed the dinner experience and would definitely return!

Old Golden Tulip under new management but mostly same polite staff and being renovated. Good food.

Was travelling for business to Accra, on a friend’s recommendation chose to stay at the Lancaster Accra. It was an excellent choice as compared to other hotels in the city this is not a tall skyscraper but rather a three-level hotel with tranquility and plenty of vast green spaces. In fact, a vast sanctuary with plenty of room to rest, relax and do business. Ideal for the weary traveler looking for clam and peace this hotel is a resort with friendly staff from the reception to the housekeeping all greeting their guests with a smile. I chose this hotel the second time of my travel to Accra and was delightfully pleased with the consistency of the service. The hotel has a large restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an impressive buffet and plenty of seating capacity both indoors and outdoors by the poolside. The restaurant serves both local and international cuisine with a variety of seafood options. Service and hospitality are impeccable in true Ghanian style. The staff are always smiling and ready to help with their guests’ special dietary requests. The pool side has a bar that serves all kinds of alcoholic drinks and is a beautiful place to unwind in the evening with music from the ninety’s playing all night long and if one would like they can watch a game of football on the large TV screens outdoors. The hotel has a shop that sells large paintings from their resident artist Mr. Kofinduro. His paintings are worth owning and Kofinduro himself is readily available to explain the meaning behind his painting. An always smiling humble gentleman, I’m putting up some of his work of art and his photo with his permission. Please do buy his paintings if you are an art lover and let his work of art adorn your home or office. A special mention for Ms. Francisca at the restaurant who was ever smiling with a pleasant demeanor and ready to offer suggestion and accommodate by a-la-carte-request. A shout out to Ms. Linda from the reception for your impeccable service and all the housekeeping staff who readily greeted all their guests and tidied my room for me.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very kind and polite. The food is varied, offering plenty of options (both local and international). We did experience internet connectivity issues during the stay, however everything else was professional and satisfactory. Weekends are also lively, as the restaurant offers live music that makes for good entertainment, but does not disturb the guests.

Didn't know what to expect after the new management of Lancaster, but it was nice to find the same familiar faces from the Golden Tulip Accra still working there. Great food, awesome service...as always!

Went here for their Sunday family buffet. The price is reasonable for the whole spread but I was very unsatisfied with the outcome of some dishes that I tried. It was a nice experience anyway. You’re given a glass of wine when you settle.

The lobby and common areas are beautifully designed with charming decor. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, modern amenities and stunning views of the city. The hotel offers a variety of dining options serving delicious food and drinks. The gym and pool facilities are fantastic, and the spa treatments are a must-try.

Detailed breakfast, that's what I call it. I'm beginning to think I love food. Their buffet is on point as well. My views are quite biased because food is the thing on my mind. I try rate service as well.

Visited for the evening buffet. It was quite disappointing. There wasn't much variety and the food wasn't all that good. However, service is very good and ambience is great for picture taking.

The food is 10/10 however, on Sundays they get overwhelmed and the service can be very poor because the waiters are serving too many people. It can take up to 30 mins to pay your bill and if you try to use momo and you dare to go to the RUDE lady called Sylvia, her stinking attitude may leave a bad taste in your mouth because of how she talks to customers. In the whole the place looks beautiful but in attempt to pay with momo will have you struggling so always carry cash.
