Africa's biggest indoor market. It will have over 15,000 shops, 6,500 market spaces for lease, 5,400 cold stores, 800 kiosks, 50 restaurants, 210 stalls for fishmongers and butchers, 40 livestock stalls. It will also have a police station, fire station, post office, hospital and 44,594m2 parking spots for cars and vans. It is being constructed at a cost of $259 million, and will be Africa's biggest single market upon completion in 2024.

A very huge and beautiful structure which hold about a thousand traders. It has a car park, wheelchair accessible road, cool place to sit and relax. But in the meantime few traders have come to occupy the place and of which majority are tailors.

The largest market in west Africa. As a tourist,it was a place I looked forward to going. I went there on two occasions at night and during the day. The locals have so much to offer for sale at the cheapest prices. It is organised to an extent and a place that's worth visiting.

The new Kajetia central market is an open-air market situated in the heart of Kumasi city, Ghana in west Africa. It is not too difficult to navigate even as a visitor. If your plan is to buy things that depict Ghanaians traditions and culture, it is a great place to be.

Serene environment with a lot of trees. The facilities are old, it needs a facelift. There are a few animals too. Tourism experience is okay, not excellent though.

Very cool place with stores well placed and named or numbered. Locating an outlet is quite easy. All one needs to do, is to ask of the Outlet line...and number, and you'd locate the said outlet with ease.

Beautiful! Couldn’t believe what I saw, nicely arranged stores with unique Identifications. Very neat washrooms on each floor with stairs and the place is wheelchair accessible too. The canteen is very neat, with all sorts of dishes and with the tables and chairs spaciously arranged, eating there is cool. The place also has a spacious car park and several pedestrian crossings. This building without doubt deserves a 5 star rating. You should visit the place sometime.

Africa’s biggest open air market. Or is spread over 3 floors and has everything you need from fabrics to crafts to beads to foodstuffs to cosmetics. The traders are friendly and happy to help and it felt very safe. There are also toilets which were clean and there was soap, but no water. Beware that on the weekends in the afternoon traffic outside the market is horrendous and at a standstill so beware when you are trying to get transport to leave. The prices are much cheaper than in other locations, including for items tourists might like such as crafts and clothing. I found sandals at 50% of the price that they were being sold at other more touristy locations.

Kumasi Market offers a vibrant and authentic shopping experience. The lively atmosphere, diverse array of products, and friendly vendors create a unique visit. From colorful textiles to fresh produce, the market provides a taste of local culture. However, navigating the bustling crowds may be challenging for some. Overall, Kumasi Market stands out for its cultural richness, but be prepared for a lively and bustling environment.
