Wow wow wowwwww, you'll love this beach hands down. The entry fee is 10ghc I think. You ride a small boat to get to the beach. The water is absolutely amazing, warm, calm, beautiful beach. You'll have to pay for the lay down chair, but the sitting chair is free. We ordered lobster and chicken wings. The food was delicious. They offer horse rides there as well.

Mitigate would be the appropriate word to describe my experience at Bojo. Not the first nor the last , I would say , the only disturbing part of going to the beach is the food policy. Why would you force people to consume your products by any mean. Since it is a beach and there is a paid fee attached to the entrance, I think it may be up to the client's choice to bring any food they would like but just to keep the place clean. Anyways , I did enjoy the new sign board they did add , it makes the place more attractive and again z the entrance fee policy may be a little bit hard to understand. From 0 to 4 is free and from 5 to 10 it costs 15 and from 10 going, It costs 30 ghana. Please , I do think the math does not add up. Why would someone above 10 would be paying as adults? To whom it may concern , I think , from 18 going would be adequate. Once again , it is just my humble review , not me trying to downgrade anything. Although taxes are added to items bought and prices are on the high side for me , the beach is enjoyable and also the fact that it may be sometimes less crowded makes it decent. Apart from that , anybody is entitled to any judgment.

Buyer beware! Before I tell you details, I want to give a shout out to our waitress Grace who was the embodiment of her name. She was kind and understanding and did her best to make up for the shortcomings of this so called resort. My family and I visited this establishment and nothing lived up to any of our expectations. We purchased the weekend special which was 250 cedis per person. There were six of us and we sent in our meal orders prior to our arrival per their request. Upon our arrival we had to place our food orders again because no one took a look at our order when we sent it in 1.5hrs earlier. The food took forever to arrive and it was all cold and also we were expected to share plates even though we all ordered as individuals. We were also sold a boat “cruise” prior to arrival and it was a couple minutes canoe ride across the River Densu to get to the beach. For all the reviews saying this beach was clean, it was disappointing to see plastic bottles, rubber bags and other trash strewn around and coming out of the water. They could try to clean this beach for charging an entrance fee. The bathrooms had no running water and were filthy since no one could flush the toilets. When we informed management of all the things that weren’t done well and asked that they consider giving us access to the pool to make things right, they refused and said we could come back next time and pay for the pool package. SMH. 🙄

Bojo beach resort is a very relaxing and relieving place to be, the scenery, so much excitement, playground for both children and adults, and their food, especially River View Restaurant. I tried most of their food with family, I really loved it. There’s a canoe that conveys tourists to the beach. Quite an experience. The scenery is amazing...recommendable👌👌

Bojo Beach is a private beach, so a small entrance fee of is required to gain access. I don't know why a printed ticket of ¢20 was redesigned to look ¢30 and was issued to me. (Last time I visted was in January 2022, so keep in mind, there could be price hikes whenever they refill their ink). If you're new to the white sand beach, you'll enjoy a little canoe ride from the entrace to the beach after paying for your ticket. The food is nothing special but it can delay on occasional days due to high demand so be prepared to wait for 30+ minutes. You can get coconut juice or any drink of your choice from the mini bar, while waiting. The staff at the beach could be another reason for your re-visit if you love good service because they're simply the best! Look out for horse rides and the lifeguards who are always looking out for your safety! There's a spacious car park for everyone so go with your family or friends... Or both!

The servers were very nice, but the owner was extremely disrespectful. Ordered food and went to swim in the pool and was verbally assaulted while being told to leave. Enjoy the beach but o would not spend any money at the hotel

It has the cool breeze from the sea and quite serene. The road leading to the location could be fixed for a smooth ride. On a weekday, you may get the beach to yourself. There is a gate fee though.

Nice beach cleaner than most. Week days is better as there are no crowds. Since they don't allow outside food and drinks, their service should be more improved.

Lovely, lovely, lovely resort although it takes quite sometime to get to. Once there, you will easily forget all of the stress involved in getting there. The furniture at the reception will make you feel like royalty. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Loads of activities to do. Definitely the place to visit if you wanna relax

My go to beach an hour away from Accra. I love this beach, it’s clean/fun & the sunset is always beautiful. The life guard is always paying attention and the food is delicious. My children love it too, the sand is very far back so they don’t have to go in too deep to get the water and I feel safe with them there. Lastly, they have access to umbrellas and chairs as well, which helps a lot. I always find the journey back into Accra annoying but that’s because of odd traffic on the road.

Had a beach day out with a group last week to Bojo beach. We had so much fun there. The beach is clean. I got to see jelly fish (unfortunately they were dead), star fish (much alive) and water snakes ( the gills they had gave me a shock🤣) We went early like 10am so there wasn’t much of a crowd but towards 1pm -4pm more people came in. The only down side was the food, water and drinks. It’s too pricy for the quality and quantify. Unfortunately you CANT take your own food or drinks. Almost everyone complained about either the taste or quantity of their orders. My turkey wings were mere bones 🦴. Also they really delayed to bring the food and had so many things mixed up. Someone from our group had to go and “jooos” them before things were done well Aside all that wahala the place is nice, we made some friends and had fun too

Beautiful and clean beachfront. Good place to relax as there is not much to do at the beach. - No food allowed (you can purchase food and drinks from the restaurant only) - You cannot take pictures with a professional camera (phone photography is allowed) - Aside from the beach, there is a hotel on-premise so you can plan a stay. You will cross to the beach with a canoe which is pat of the gate fee. It would be great if the managers of the place introduce additional activities at the beach. Overall, it's a nice place to relax and a good place to spend time with close friends and family.

Location is perfect. This is a place for friends, family and lovers. There is a canoe available to aid in crossing to the beach front. I enjoyed that ride. There is music, drinks and food at the beach as well. Very beautiful environment with a great feel of sea breeze.

One of the cleanest beaches in Accra! Food was trash and stale. Kids can harangue for money when they realise you’re a foreigner. Otherwise, great place!

Had a romantic stay and enjoyed the seclusion of the beach, you take a small boat over to the beach and it was quite peaceful and overall clean. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was nice and attentive. While breakfast was included on our stay it was pathetic at best , it took 45 minutes to prepare a fried egg , what appeared to be freezer burned sausage , and warm bread. We asked for toast however it just wasn’t appetizing at all and i had a few bites and left. After the beach we went to the hotel pool and felt like we had everything to ourselves, a staff member even bought us pool floaties. We ordered chicken wings and fresh fish while at the pool which made up for the poor breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend , just don’t expect a good breakfast.

I love their facility. I just feel like they need to invest more at the beach area and increase number of waiters. The kids there can't be used as waiters

Beautiful 🤩 place. Clean beach and a great hangout for kids. The waiters not super friendly and I was shocked when I was told I had to pay for the chair I sat on. That was just not cool after paying GH 30 cedis at the entrance . 🤦🏽‍♀️

Having access to the beach is wonderful - it's clean and relatively quiet. Taking the short boat ride to get there is fun the first time but can get a little old after having to do it many times. I would definitely recommend eating your meals by the beach rather than at the hotel restaurant. It's a much more lively vibe. There are lots of very attentive young men who will assist you with getting seated. Overall, a nice beach getaway.

The beach is very nice and warm. However the customer service is terrible They served us hot beer. We asked for tequila and they responded they did not have. when we asked what else they had the waitress responded she did not know and was not willing to go and check. we were charged for things we did not ask for. The waitress was not willing to give us her name. Do not recommend coming for any food or drinks but the beach was warm and nice.

Very seren natural environment, very good facilities to make your stay comfortable. Safe Kids play grounds, Very large car park. Very clean beach and Sandy bay. Great place for swimming and surfing. A boat ride to cross the river to the see shore since it's very close to the Densu Delta. The safest beach I have visited so for. The environment is just great. You can relax by the river or by the ocean. But the management must improve on the boat ride across the river especially on occasions when there is increase in patronage. The boat sizes is not the safest and there are not enough boat available when the place get crowded on occasions. These get people stranded at the sandy bay and it delays time. That must improve drastically. Aside these it's a great place to be so try it and you have a wonderful time.

Beautiful beach, clean with friendly staff. A good place to cool down and unwind in Ghana.. Being a South African in Ghana I felt like the heat was a bit too much so a trip here was a good reset for my body. I've been there twice and wouldn't mind another trip here

Charging Gh30 on constitution holiday 2022 as entry fee to the beach Doesnt allow food nor drinks entry U charge this amount and espect us to go sit in the sun. U are charging Gh10 for an umbrella aswell what kind of cheat is this.

Food took almost two hours to arrive after persistent pestering from myself and my friend and the staff were so unprofessional. But when it was time for their shift to end they quickly rushed us to pay and leave the beach. They didn't even give us our change at the end. Only giving one star for the nice view.

  • 3/5 Don V. 2 years ago on Google
The beach is beautiful despite of some little garbage here and there. The food takes forever and the drinks are never cold enough. It is usually busy on weekends and they charge 30 cedis as an entrance fee.

  • 1/5 David N. 2 years ago on Google
Wanted to visit the beach area. The staff at the entrance were soo rude and unprofessional. After going there for several years. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and they were not going interested. They must surely be causing the owner huge losses in revenue. I regretted going there and just drove to another resort nearby.

  • 5/5 Ebenezer A. 2 years ago on Google
They checked if you've had the covid vaccination and if you haven't, they'll deny you access to the place until you get vaccinated from a center just beside the entrance. Even though the entrance fee is/was a bit higher than I expected (maybe because it's a festive period), I still enjoyed my visit to the place. From the boat ride across the lagoon/damn to the beach, to the people and the beautiful clean environment. Their food is/was expensive though😂

I loved the ambience, perfect for the peace and quiet, clean beach and the food is delicious. Perfect beach for swimming and surfing However kindly take note, 1. When you order food from the menu, kindly ask for the price as what’s written in the menu booklet is different from what’s on their computer 2. The bottle of white wine we bought was overpriced almost 150% of what the actual price was on their computer 3. Please please insist on a print out receipt before you make any payments, better still, go straight to the cashier and let him add up all the items you bought before you make payment and thank me later.

This is one of the popular beach fronts in the greater Accra region. There is lodging on the main resort area where you could sleep over. The main beach front is on an island so you will have to cross over to that end with a motorized boat. It can be a scary experience for newbies on the water. There was only one boat doing the back and forth transportation when I visited. The transportation from the main resort area to the beach was fine for me, but coming back to the resort area from the beach wasn't so great as many people were rushing into the boat as it was getting late. My advice if you come here..... Leave early, maybe about 4-5pm. The food at the place was not too good and it was quite pricey. You will spend 12ghs - 16ghs for a few pieces of meat on a khebab stick. At the time I went there (3pm), I basically couldn't get anything on the menu as I was told the food was finished. This was a terrible experience for me as I hadn't eaten anything heavy before visiting. In terms of parking, there is ample parking at the main resort area. The good thing here is the beach front, as it is relatively neat and the view of the sea is quite nice. If you want a relaxing beach front to kick back with friends, this is a good place. Just make sure to eat something before coming here.

  • 1/5 Richard D. 1 year ago on Google
My friend Eddie & I arrived here at 1.00pm. We ordered as soon as we arrived. Its 4.15pm. Still no sign of our food. 3+ hours for jollof rice & kebabs. Totally unacceptable. To add insult to injury, patrons are not allowed to bring food or drinks onto the beach. If you must come here, eat first. Better still, give Bojo Beach a miss altogether.

Cool environment for relaxation and leisure. Make time to visit.A canoe ride to the beach is beautiful, but management must strictly ensure revellers wear their life jackets on canoe rides.

  • 4/5 Akwesi P. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice beach friendly bar staff. The sad thing about management is that they will fail the upkeep, hygiene and cleanliness for the beach. In a years time when I go back I sadly believe the beach will be ruined with rubbish.
