Avoid at all costs. Bouncers on a power trip, very rapey, think there hard and there just not but will attack you for no reason because they've had too many roids. Avoid Aron aka Ste Roid at all costs, what a bell.

This place is great if you're already drunk or aren't bothered about music or drink taste. It's a big venue, and has some surprisingly good guest DJs every now and again, but overall, Glow is a bit of a shambles on a typical Saturday night. The security are either heavy-handed or unbothered about the unravelling situations around them. The drinks taste really watered down and cost a fortune. The Glow admissions rate likes to swap and change as it pleases, we've paid anything from Β£5 to Β£20 to get in some nights, which I think is ridiculous. As it's the only real club (apart from the student-owned Sugarhouse) in Lancaster, it can be forgiven slightly, but is a bit messy most nights. I wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for an aimless dance fest with poor music.

The bouncers here are completely aggressive, will happily lay their hands on you and aren't afraid to hurt you to get their way. If you go here, just remember to salute them or you'll get kicked out.

Thought I’d been spiked because I was paralysed and couldn’t speak (hadn’t even drank that much) and the staff at glow offered me absolutely no help. If I hadn’t been with such good mates, god knows what could’ve happened to me

Music and atmosphere is pretty good but the bouncers are rubbish. Heavy handed, uncaring, rude and just overall not pleasant. Train your staff, security is meant to help people feel safe but glow completely fails

Went here a few nights ago, most bouncers are so nice here but there were one or two that were terrible, saw one shout at a girl and kick her out for no reason (she was completely sober and had ID) and another was rude to my friend. Other than that the atmosphere is great although there are a few creeps that go here

Giving one star because it’s not possible to give none. Place needs to be shut down as customers need protecting from those employed to protect them (the bouncers). A bouncer must be trained to a standard whereby under no circumstance they cause a death, and this nightclub has failed to do this crucial thing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The bouncers here are on a power trip, we queued up for 30 minutes to get in and was turned away very aggressively for no reason. When we asked why he just said because I can do what I want.

I am a person who likes to travel around the world and observe the nightlife in the places I go. I had the rudest customer experience I have ever seen in my life here at "Glow" tonight. Bouncers took me outside at 00:05 to scan me, who had just come to there listen to music. It is very important that even I did not say hello to anyone(Besides, I'm not drunk, I'm writing this comment at this hour). Briefly, I did not disturb anyone. After this annoying practice, I did not want to return to the club and left. I think listening to music on its own is a very dubious act for Glow. Thank you for poisoning my saturday night.(ticket proof and time are in the attached photo).

Absolutely disgusting establishment. No vetting process for any staff they employ and people have lost their life in return! Please take your money elsewhere

I went out last night and got rather drunk. I lost my glasses and grazed my face and I just want to say a massive massive thank you to the bouncer with the beard. He was so so lovely and made sure that I was okay. I was such a mess and he made sure that I didnt make it any worse and that I found my friends and got home safely. Thank you so much.

Glow offers a much more mature night out than it's competitor Sugar with a better variety of music. However, sometimes it can be a little bit too crowded to be enjoyable.

I was man handled by the staff after agreeing to leave because one of my friend was tired after a long night and was only drinking a coke, would not recommend this club as night staff are very aggressive towards customers, Especially if seen drinking non alcoholic beverages. Definitely will not be showing my face in this below par astonishment any time soon again.

Personally I have only had the pleasure of entering this place once, to meet my kids (bearing in mind they are 18-24 yo)and their friends, which to be fair lasted less than 5 minutes when I was asked to leave, clearly I was overdressed or the bouncers saw me as a person they could not manipulate into their stupid games. On 4 occasions I have the displeasure of listening to the kids (18-24 year olds) tell me horror stories of the way the security staff bully, humiliate, intimidate and antagonise them. Asking humiliating questions of the girls in some bid to prove age, taking phones to go through settings and details of instagram or snapchat, throwing ID cards/ driving licences on the floor instead of handing them back, antagonising and bullying the males to create problems so that they can show their might and remove them. A place that is well gossiped about in terms of behaviours and drugs. We all want Lancaster to be a safe enjoyable place where people come to visit and experience different parts of the city, my advice, Stay Away they are likely to ruin your experiences.

Glow nightclub is one of the best venues in the UK. Two rooms of music and constant exciting events offering some of the best guest appearances in the club scene from celebrities to DJs. Glow nightclub offers something for all people and tastes of music. They have an in house paramedic at the club ready on call at all times and a designated place of sanctuary for anyone feeling unwell. All the staff are fully trained in "ask for Angela" and offer spike protection with every drink served. If you're looking for nightlife to remember then glow should be on your bucket list!
