Let me explain how disgusting this gym is. I was leaving from the gym and I saw the manager Dina literally screaming at a kid for playing basketball in the gym. This Karen is a terrible person. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Don’t waste your money on these unprofessional people who don’t value customer service and don’t acknowledge their wrongs. I will make sure everyone knows about this gym and how they treat people. Do better!! If not, just put up a sign and say the type of people you really want in the gym.

It’s a beautiful facility, with lots of work out space and machines. But since lately it’s been filled with a bunch of young kids just goofing around taking space on the machines, women bathrooms are dirty, pool still hasn’t been filled. If it is not going to be filled then don’t promote on website or with membership because the one I pay for is supposed to give me access to the pool and it’s been two months and still no water. For the amount ones pays we should have access and facilities should be more up to par. The staff as well needs some customer service training.

First let me start off by saying that the staff is super sweet and the gym is always clean. It has a lot of equipment and there is so much potential in this gym. BUT, there’s a lot that can be better. When i first joined back in January i believed that because of covid, a lot of the perks that weren’t currently available we’re for that reason. But a couple months later and everything is still the same. Many of the locker room keypads don’t even work, the toilets sometimes don’t flush, the steam room, sauna, and showers don’t get cleaned to frequently, and the water filter is red or yellow most of the time. The hours could be extended, i mean the average working person can’t even make the gym at those times. The membership prices are ridiculous; you pay for level 3 and you don’t even get access to the pool or the slides, the supposed level 3 room is filled with level 1 members who sneak in, and during the year the basketball court couldn’t even be accessed on the weekdays during a certain time because a local volleyball team would occupy the space. Like i said, there’s a lot of potential and the workers are so kind, but i can’t justify paying for this gym, the money could go towards a better one at the same price.

Decent gym but the management is rude and disrespectful. Used one day on my 3-day pass and when I went back the 2nd time there was a discrepancy about how many days I had left. The manager, Phil, basically told me to either pay $30 for the day or I would have to join to enter. After some discussion, I agreed to pay for the day and his reply was "I don't think I want you as a member at my gym". Like I said, totally unprofessional and disrespectful. So I'll just take my business to 24 hr fitness across the street where they treat their customers properly or just continue my membership with blink fitness where I've been a member for years and never had any issues.

Place clean but not offering the perks of first class gym. Showers not hot and often broken. Amenities like towels toiletries that were initially offered were stopped. Staff pleasant. Pool and spa area still not available.

The management is horrible and entraps people in membership "contracts" and does not allow you to leave without a ridiculous hefty fee or ridiculous conditions that require violating your HIPAA rights or moving! Additionally this place is guilty of discriminating against POC and have kicked out friends of mine with no explanation or review into the incident. Also have been ghosted by management when mentioning this discriminatory behavior. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I was paying 90 a month for “extra perks” but there were none. Personal training wasn’t available, the time the gym closes was too early for me and others. Only thing was that the equipment was clean and it’s never too crowded. But definitely not worth 90 nor 45 a month! Just go to blink!

This Gym is terrible I advise everyone not to go here their service is terrible !! Phil the manager is the only cool one, I literally got banned from here just cause I was playing basketball and I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to.Then on top of that theyre false advertising they’re making people pay extra money for 75$ and 100$ memberships and can’t Even have access to any of those exclusive things on your membership due to the pandemic so it’s no different from the regular 50$ membership so yeah they’re just scamming people.Trust me there’s plenty of other gyms that better then this piece of junk.

Club Closing? Does anyone know if this club is closing soon? It has the look and feel it is on its way out. They have decided not to fill the pool (they say it’s too expensive for the gym-but then why even bother acquiring the gym in the first place?), steam room has been out of order for a few weeks, showers and sinks are “out of order” and have no hot water and approximately 80% of the lockers don’t work. The parking lot and exterior looks disgusting. There is garbage and broken pavement pieces everywhere. The air vents are missing covers and are visibly filled with dust. I would definitely think twice before joining. I give it a few months tops by the way it looks.

This place has gone to so downhill lately. It’s filled with high school kids who are more concerned with joking around and messing with each other than working out. They also have terrible hygiene. No one re-racks any of the weights. Machines are constantly broken (probably because the gym is filled with people who don’t know how to work out). And none of the employees seem to care about any of it. Really a shame because there are a lot of good people that work out there but talk to any of them and they can’t wait to find a new gym.

Super sweet upon joining! But my advice is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Terrible management practices, awful hours and impossible to cancel. Added the months THEY were closed due the pandemic to my contract forcing the $150 to break it. Nice project for any lawyers with free time! I know I'm not the only one they're silently adding time lost in pandemic without consent or announcement (which is against the contract itself). I'd rather pay $150 than have to pay the next 5 months. All processes of an organization are important including the exit- just Awful!

This gym has really taken a turn for the worse over the last few months. Definitely not worth the money. I'm not really sure what I'm paying for. When you pay $89.99 a month, you expect some type of quality/perks. CONS: -There are only two functioning urinals and two functioning toilets in the mens room (two have been broken for 4 months). There are also snot rockets above the urinals: they have been there for a few months as well... -One of the sinks has been "taking a rest day" for about 3 months. It might seem petty, but it shows the lack of care when it's been broken for so long. -Most of the mirrors show signs of aging and desilvering. -The scale in the mens room doesn't show accurate readings. -TV's in the mens room haven't worked in months. -The water filter hasn't been replaced in over a month. -The water in the showers never really get hot. And when you put it all the way to heat, the water just drips out. -There was a massive leak from the ceiling last month over some of the equipment. Some of the paint chips drop on you while you're working out underneath it and the ceiling is still just hanging down. -Most of the air vents are covered in dust or are missing the vent covers. -Pool is permanently closed-management says its too expensive to reopen it. -Still no towels. PROS: -The equipment is clean. -The gym is never too busy. This gym has so much potential but definitely needs some serious TLC. It seems like they are just giving up or planning on closing. If you're thinking about joining, take a look at 24-Hour fitness across the street after your tour of Level. It's more affordable and much better. I will not be rejoining Level when my contract is up.

After a three day trial, there’s no chance I’m joining this gym and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The manager, Phil, is a decent guy but that’s the only good part of the gym. There’s no one at the front desk to check people in, and the outside of the gym looks pretty bad. It’s relatively quiet and the strength equipment is decent, but the most of the cardio equipment, especially upstairs is clearly 10+ years old and many of the machines don’t work properly. The basketball, salt room, and multiple studios around the gym are restricted to top tier members, yet were completely empty; plus, they advertise a pool around the club, yet it’s indefinitely closed. The locker room is clean, but many of the lockers don’t work, two showers are closed, and two toilets are out of order. To make matters worse, all three days I came to Level, there was a woman cleaning the locker room while men were changing, which the manager allowed. Coming from a former 24 Hour Fitness member that’s just down the road, just spend your money there. It’s cheaper, newer, and cleaner.

When are you going to have actual regular gym hours? 7am-3pm on weekends, are you kidding me? I work overnight and when I get home and go to sleep I can’t even go to the gym before I go to work on weekends. I’ve never heard of a gym only being open 8 hours on weekends.

Edit: (3/5/21) although its unfortunate that i had to make a complaint in order to be heard the staff was willing to work with me regarding the termination fee which i do appreciate. Planet fitness quality gym with a high price tag. Membership costs were not adjusted for the decreased access to facilities during the pandemic. I get that things have to close for safety but if im not using them i dont want to pay for them. My contract term was automatically adjusted without my consent to account for the months closed during the lockdown. that is unfortunate but NOT MY PROBLEM AND NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY. Horrible mask enforcement with 0 repercussions for people who dont follow it.

The place was great until it changed name from Kinetic to Level. Then it all started going down. It’s hot inside. I asked about AC several times for months but first it was broken now they say they will forward the message to the Managment. I would say about 40 % of threadmills on upper level are broken for months. First they were labeled as “ I’m taking a day off” because of COVID but now it’s clear they are broken, even the ones that supposed to work don’t fully work. Changing rooms need some care too. So I don’t get it why they are so proud to be the best gym in 2019? Two years later quality is similar to gyms where membership is $20

I joined Level Fitness in Pelham Manor just under 2 months ago and so far so good. It's always clean and well maintained. They have a nice selection of equipment and layout. The free weight section, where I spend 80% of my time, is not very big but one great thing about this gym is that I've never seen it packed to the point where you can't gain access to equipment, even during peak times. This was crucial to me! Phil, the Manager, seems very nice and polite and he always greets me when I see him. He seems to care about his members. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only gripe I have with this gym are the number of dumbbells. They only have one set of dumbbells per weight and several times people take them to different rooms and don't return them. This isn't fair to other members who want to use the dumbbells. I WISH THEY WOULD INVEST IN ANOTHER SET OF DUMBBELLS, especially the 20lbs.-65lbs. sets! Other than that, it's a great gym with ample parking.

What makes level fitness an appealing gym? There Is a couple of reasons everyone who attends is serious about their workouts. There are many amenities to take advantage of. Staff, is professional, courteous. During peak hours, it is relatively calm and not overcrowded a modern space with many activities for all levels of fitness and wellness.

Inconsistent information from staff regarding canceling membership, resulting in an unexpected additional month’s charge to my account. I had no issues with customer service until it was time to cancel. For the price of membership, I had higher expectations of staff members. Greatly disappointed and wouldn’t in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone.

Paying an expensive premium for what? Weights im the weight room is not racked. People are starting to play their own music in the morning with a beats pill. Lockers are not working and theirs paint peeling on on ceiling. You can see falling debris on the floor.

I have been a member for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier. Previously I was a member of NYSC and LA fitness and Level tops them in every area. Phil Ledesma ( manager) does an exceptional job of ensuring the gym is clean and always functional. He works tirelessly to ensure clients are enjoying their experience and constantly checks up for feedback and areas for improvement. The staff at desk, on floor, and cleaning crew always have a smile and positive energy. It is truly a special and different gym experience!

Beautiful spacious gym. Very clean but staff is RUDE. It’s also IMPOSSIBLE to cancel and stay out of the membership. I was homeless situation and even than they want to charge $150 termination fee. How inconsiderate!!! There are waaaaay better options for a gym in the area. Very distasteful.

Beautiful gym !! Went back for first time found the gym to be spotless and felt that the staff did a wonderful job prepping it for opening! But unfortunately there were only about 15 to 20 people in the gym and three of them directly around me think that wearing a mask is having it on your chin with mouth and nose fully exposed! Really going to miss the place it's a shame people just can't cover their mouths and noses!

I met with Phil yesterday and spoke with him today about the membership levels. Honestly, I am looking to head to this gym. My present gym is closing its doors in a matter of hours/days as per the members. Management has not informed us, but many of us are looking into Level. Phil has been very understanding and really supportive with many of us. If you are looking for a new gym like me, head to Level Fitness. It is pricey but nice, if it is your fit. I hope to make my decision soon.

Signed up during COVID ,great if you can afford the level 3 membership ,since it provides you with the private room and a cardio room( private room has a ton of box jumps, sand bags , back row ,squat rack and heavy bag & the cardio room has treadmills and trx ). The pros : Level feels more private ,sauna is cleaned often and so is the steam room ,in addition level 3 members have access to the salt room (for lungs and relaxation ) and a daily hydromassage. Regular members can still access the sauna and steam room. Cons : Sometimes non level 3 members sneak into the private room taking equipment or available spots. In addition, the gym rents out the basketball court depending on season making the level 3 membership a hindrance. Pool still isn't open as well. All in all if you are about your workout and want to get in and out level is for you at any membership price. Think LA fitness + ,I wish I could give it a 4.5/5 really.

Overall an ok gym. It’s pricy for a place that sells itself as a premium gym but the steam room works about 30% of the time. Also the weightlifting area is a bit crammed up. Otherwise, decent place.

This is my day one I haven't been to a gym in over 20 years. I took the day to get acclimated and I tried the elliptical, the stepper, and the bicycle. Ideally I'd like to do some of those weight machines but there are a lot of people and I was feeling uncomfortable so I went upstairs and just did a little 30 minutes on my own and went home. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll be comfortable enough to try some of the weight machines and get a routine together. The gym is very clean and has lots of different machines and options to work plus it has a sauna and hydro massage chair. I definitely think it would be a good choice for anyone from a novice to an expert.

I recently joined Level Fitness determined to “get back into shape.” I was a former member of some elite fitness centers previously in Manhattan but due to distance, and of course high monthly membership fees, I was at a loss. When I visited Level to inquire and get information ai was sold right off the bat. First Phil is incredible. He listened to what I was looking for in a gym, never was push about his approach and I found Phil to be knowledgeable. This place is incredible everything you could want in a gym and more. Believe me when I say, don't waist your time looking anywhere else. You will see the value right away when you enter the door!

So far since moving to the NYC area I finally found a gym that I like, the equipment is new, not broken, the staff is ver friendly, the facility is very clean, the amenities are the most I've ever seen at a gym and the esthetic is very modern. Best club I’ve ever been a member of in 40 years in some of the U.S. biggest cities. Immaculately clean, equipment ALL works, nothing broken and ignored, lots of space and different equipment and rooms to work out in, work alone or in a group and it’s all good, staff really helpful and CALM, no muscle heads in the group, superior lighting fits whatever the @ctivity is. This place has been PLANNED OUT. And this ALL affects WHO works out there and how people behave. Folks are serious and civilized about their workouts and all seem to feel a sense of responsibility to keep the place humming smoothly. I hope things don’t change and they start cutting corners one day, or start grabbing all the money they can by selling lots of cheap memberships to keep profits high and overhead low (meaning, they let the place get run down). Fingers crossed. They’ve been a real life saver during this miserable slog of a pandemic. Keep hope alive. Keep Level Fitness in Pelham a beautiful place to get and keep your groove on 😂😉👍 I’m sure that last line was a total give away about the age group I’m in...life is good :)

Nice looking gym but they do not enforce wearing a mask. The water filter on the ground floor is never replaced (literally not drinkable water). And way over priced. 1/2 of the stuff I payed to join the gym for are not even available and they won’t let you reduce your monthly payments or cancel your membership.
