I had a lovely weekend at oasis, Friday to Sunday, I got one twin bed room which came with an AC and Fan, 2 beds and a desk. Very simple, local style with mosaic art in their tiles for only ghs140/night. Ate at their restaurant, some good food there... Oh and wait, their new beach bar is dope. We had two amazing nights there. Also the owner Ali is a solid guy!

I really enjoyed my recent visit to this serene coastal retreat. Got to experience some real peace and quiet. The serene oasis, where the sea and sky meet in an endless display of beauty, truly captivated my heart. I could spend the whole day just admiring the beautiful seaside. Despite a few hiccups with customer service, my overall experience was nothing short of amazing. I do suggest that they respond faster to visitors' needs. And the food? Whaaattt!! it was absolutely delicious, although it may be a bit on the pricey side. But here's a pro tip - make sure to bring a friend with you if you want to capture some stunning photos of yourself! Trust me, the strangers around just can't seem to get the right angles. Don't risk going home with no good pictures of yourself - bring a friend and snap away! Overall, I had a fantastic time and I’m very eager to go back for more!

I can't give more than one star cause everytime we left our room we saw this poor dog chained to a tree. For me, it was heartbreaking to watch. We spent two nights and she was never let off, someone just put food and water next to her. On our last day we found out that there is a second dog used as a guard dog, also tied up and unable to move more than his 2 or 3meter Radius. We've been to many places in Ghana and everyone lets their dog walk freely so I don't understand why it can't be the case at oasis. We left earlier cause we didn't want to support this animal abuse. Please if you decide to stay there, give the dogs some love. They are incredibly friendly and in desperate need of love. In the beginning Laika ( that's what we named her, although apparently her name is Cherie according to the oasis Instagram) was shy but after two nights that we mostly spent next to her she was so happy to be around us and even tried to follow us. At night she was howling and it was difficult for us to sleep knowing there are dogs suffering right in front of us. I saw a review from 2012 that already mentioned the guard dogs so apparently that's something that the resort has been doing for a long time.I hope that one day they will let the dogs go or at least take them for some walks.

Great night life and food. Quite warm during the harmattan. Bonfire sessions is a time to gather around and have fun in unity regardless of who you are. I would recommend for those who don’t mind people smoking around them.

It's close to the castle but the food is just so so. The seafood is too fishy and I can't get used to the taste at all. It's on the beach so the surroundings is comfortable.

Service was slow and disjointed. Had to ask for our drinks after 20mins of sitting in a restaurant when we were the only cover. Our food was brought out at different times for our party so made it awkward for our eating experience. The restaurant itself was nice and clean and the view of the beach and water was very nice.

Loved every but of my stay there. A very friendly environment plus amazing staff who are very quick with their jobs. Night time there is amazing too with some cultural dance entertainment.

Remember when I stayed here about 10 years ago with a group of fellow volunteers.. electrical fire started in the ceiling fan and our unit caught on fire in middle of night. Resort owners tried painting over damage and getting us back in the room next morning, we ended up going down the road. Great view though!

Place is easily accessible, right by the beach, very close to the CapeCoast castle, which is a huge tourist attraction. Place has a nice ambiance and good view as it faces the sea. There was no music, but people were playing some music from their Bluetooth speakers, etc. The service was fast and good (if possible pre-order some 1 hour before coming) we stayed for a good while before the food arrived. Food is quite expensive, but quality and quantity do not match at all. We ordered a club sandwich, which was somewhat poorly made . It was very soggy and didn't have any clear taste, like all the ingredients were stale. Their rooms are great and their views are good. Lots of tourists to share drinks and talk with. Food just needs some work, but all in all,it's an awesome place. CapeCoast rocks.

Restaurant service here is good and the waiters are nice. I like that it has seatings suitable for large groups, small groups and a pair or solo.

The rooms are okay for their price, the beach is very fun with it's huge waves. The restaurant has nice dishes and the cocktails are delicious and very cheap!

Worst hotel experience we've ever had. After the room we originally booked was not free, we should pay a whole dormatory for one night (we are two people) with the promise that our room will be free the next day. The next day we get told that this isn't the case and we should stay in a smaller dormatory, but still paying the whole room. All dormatories had smelly beds and pillows.

Easily accessible place to hang out after the sobering Cape Coast Castle visit. Could do with some better hygiene though. The smell from a nearby drain needs some getting used to.

This beach resort was utterly repulsive. There were yellow, red and brown stains on the mattress and mosquito nets. It was around 95 degrees and the fan was broken. The food was good though.

The restaurant not only had great food but a great view of the ocean. The fried chicken was excellent. The fries were perfectly fried. The service was great. Also, as from pictures, while eating it was a great view of ocean.

Quite a quirky kind of place, with huts as well as buildings, and accommodation ranges from small minimalistic rooms with bunked beds (Inc dorms for 10 people) and a small sink but nothing else, to en suite facilities and AC. I opted for more creature comforts and had a hut with AC and en suite facilities. If you don't have en suite then toilets and shower cubicles are in a communal open area. Make sure the toilet flushes before you use it! You may need to ask them for towels. The best bit of the resort is the restaurant where they give good service and has a more than adequate menu. The place is clearly very popular with tourists and I can see why. The cost is reasonable, especially if you share a dormitory with 9 others (they are mixed dorms), and the fact that it is right on the sand of the beach is a big pull. Its nice to be able to hear the sea, and if you choose a hut with en suite facilities you may get a personal hammock right outside. In all, there are many positives and can be attractive especially to young people. But I guess I would prefer something a little more refined and traditional. Nothing wrong with it though, it's down to personal taste.

I came here about 3 years ago, I went back recently and I was disappointed. It used to be the best place to be whenever you’re in cape coast. The place seemed dull to me. However the place is still good for a weekend night out. The view from their rooms is so soothing and relaxing. They have a number of foods and drinks to choose from. We ordered for food and it took forever to be ready. After waiting for that long time, the food finally came and I couldn’t believe I was going to pay 40ghcedis for a plate of boiled spaghetti and tomato sauce, no meat, no beef, no fish, nothing! Just spaghetti and spiced tomato sauce. I was very disappointed. My partner ordered for rice and it came with fried chicken not grilled chicken but fried. How many hotels fry their chicken in hot oil these days??? In all I still enjoyed my time there, the sea made it possible. Unfortunately rocks have been mounted on the shores so it’s quite difficult to have access. Parking space isn’t a problem.

An awesome stay that's definitely a bargain on the beach for $25 per night. Although beach is unsafe for swimming enjoying the sounds of it especially at night was so relaxing. My room was a bungalow with shared cool outside bathroom facilities. How can you beat a night time shower outside under the stars? Location is perfect and there's even a basketball court nearby where you can easily join in a local fun and competitive game. Overall a very chill and satisfying stay.

The Beach is amazing, clean, peaceful and beautiful. Their food is amazing ( Big breakfast, Grouper Steak, Lobster and fried rice, yummy). I ordered Pizza 🍕 seafood and chicken, its the worst pizza ever....there was not enough cheese, not enough tomato sauce, no vegetables, just 3,4 onions, seafood pizza has just 2 or 3 pieces of something that I do not even know. The rooms were stuffy and badly maintained, everything in the room needs renovation and proper cleaning, i have a very bad cold after spending 1 night in the room....There was a very big friendly dog that i really loved. Waiter Enoch Afful was such a cool guy, very calm and collected. The manager or front desk person, dark heavy guy didn't seem bothered about anything. I will go there again for the beach and food, not pizza and wont patronise their room any day. Thank you.

For the price the place is really nice with a good location. Just 400m from Cape coast castle. The restaurant was ok. Their dinner was awesome. The waiter was nice eventhough we were a bit annoying with our orders at times. The fried yam and tilapia was awesome. We will back for it another time The downside is the service at times. There is a non-commital attitude towards work especially with the morning staff. The breakfast was absolutely substandard. Some of the bread was mouldy, the cup with my orange juice was not clean. These are standards a restaurant must adhere to. With the price they are charging they have no excuse. Also, if you dont have breads common in Ghana atleast provide us with the option to choose our bread. I cannot pay high breakfast price and I get pita bread with no option of getting normal bread common in ghana

Place is located on the beach, close to the cape coast castle. It’s a cool place where people visit a lot, no restrictions on where to smoke which to me wasn’t cool since kids were also there. Hope they do something about that situation. Had a couple of games for adults. Their food is expensive, outside food and water is restricted unless maybe it’s for a kid. They needs to improve their sanitary system since their washroom area wasn’t good enough for visitors.

If you want to have a good meal, if you want to have a good drink, if you want to meet a friendly and helpful service, all in beautiful area, directly at the see, then you have to visit this place, the Oasis Beach Resort.

Came here with a group of friends for lunch. I figured they're not used to serving a large group or a traffic of people all at the same time hence the below par service experienced here. I ordered grilled Tilapia fish with fries and it came with coleslaw on the side. The meal was just okay, the fish was not well seasoned. The fresh pineapple fruit juice was the best thing I had.

unfortunately do not recommend staying here. we had an uncomfortable experience with one of the drivers associated with the hotel, who shouted at us and tried to prevent us from leaving, without us understanding why. later we asked and understood there was a mix up with the drivers, but they have an agreement that we were not made aware of. there is also a lot of loud music playing late into the night, making it difficult to sleep.

Pro: This place looks really nice, directly at the beach and cozy seats. But: The room had mosquito nets that couldn’t be put on, no toilet paper in neither of the public toilets and only few workers were friendly.

The beach is beautiful but the customer service is very poor. No waiter or waitress attended to us. We went to place orders ourselves. It's not like the place was busy or packed with a lot of people. Meanwhile, people from the diaspora were being attended to. The clean water was the only thing that made me stay there for a long time.

Great place to stay in Cape Coast next to Castle. Restaurant service is fast and they had good food offering. Also, drink prices were quite good. Only thing is that I struggled getting in touch with them by phone and that they were painting my balcony same day I checked in. It wasnt so pleasant smell of painting and having all materials in balcony.

After visiting the Cape Coast castle, we stopped here for food. It took a while before the food came, and we were really discouraged, but it was hands down the best food I had during my week long stay in Ghana. They'll have to do better with their speed. The ambience is great too and you can walk ok the sandy beach for some good air.

I can't say much about the price because we could not compare it because of the short stay. We had a dorm because we traveled with the whole family so 5 people where it was very hot at night so didn't sleep so well. But they also have air-conditioned rooms there. All in all a good stay ... What can I say? Beautiful little huts and rooms right in the beach. This is a great location in Cape Coast if you want to be in town and also enjoy the beach. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere has a tropical feel. On the property: 👍Clean male/female toilets 👍Pleasant staff with a sense of humor The food is pricey but very good 🤦🏾‍♀️Neat and Clean rooms and huts 👍Clean property Bar 👍Tables and benches right at the beach side 👍Great view especially on the second floor rooms Ping pong table 👍Oasis also can be rented out for parties and events. Some rooms have fans or ac, ask at the time of booking. You can book online or get a room in person if it's not filled up Pricing is fair for the rooms You definitely will get to meet friendly people from around the world here especially volunteers doing work in Ghana.

Oasis is the place to go when you're into the quiet resort experience. Noise is kept at a minimum. They serve coffee, decaff, cappuccino, waffles etc. Bar also serves almost all drinks you can think of. On my visit, children were allowed on the beach. The shoreline is packed with rocks, enabling a safe viewing experience away from unpredictable waves if one doesn't like to get wet. There are outdoor seats for those who want to hang out away from bar. There is no WiFi. Wash rooms aren't bad. Prices are are moderate. They have vip sections away from prying eyes even though I don't see the point. They serve a few locally made dishes and seafood as well. Mobile money payments are accepted. Parking space is limited and can be a hassle on busy days recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time in a serene environment.

Oasis beach resort is a really nice getaway place in Cape coast. Quite hidden but easy to find. When I arrived at the entrance lots of kids in the neighborhood came around asking for money which was quite annoying. The prices of their rooms are quite moderate but the rooms don't come with breakfast so you'll have to buy your own breakfast. I ordered banku and tilapia but it was not so great. However, it's great to go the beach or watch the big waves crush against the shore and into the huge sea defence stones. I'll definitely go there again.

This resort seems to be running a scam. I booked my stay thru Booking.com at the beginning of the year. The resort was unresponsive to questions i sent, so I reached out to Booking.com to investigate. I was advised there was an error in the published nightly rate. The correct rate is $130/night. I see nowhere online showing that rate. Even worse they never contacted me. If I travelled as planned I would have been stuck paying $130/night instead of the rate I was quoted. Beware!!

Oasis beach🌴,it a very nice and cool place to stay off the grid. The relaxing summer huts always gives the touch. This play paps during festival season. But one has to be care as there are a lots of thieves and pick pockets.

The Turkish owner was very condescending to her African staff - to the point it made me NEVER want to come back. Please do not support these types of establishments which exploit the locals. So sad to see this in Ghana …in this day and age.

The location itself is nice: clear view to the ocean. There were a few issues: there is usually no toilet paper, bring your own. When we arrived there was no water (this was fixed later on). We had one and a half nights without light in our room (due to a broken light bulb). We received a small discount to make up for it. We booked a laundry service but upon receiving them our clothes were not dry, we had to hang everything in our room (we received a 10 GHS discount for this and I think it was a misunderstanding). All staff is friendly but at times the service is extremely slow. You may wait a long time before you are able to order or before you receive the drinks or before you get the bill. I can’t tell whether the restaurant is understaffed. You pay for drinking water: it adds up, both money and plastic waste. The restaurant is a bit pricey. Overall it’s a commercial place with little heart. We didn’t feel at home but the location and construction of terrace and bungalows makes up for it. Next time I would check out the Baobab Guest House if I go to Cape Coast again.

Went there for lunch abd there were lots of food on the menu not available. It also took long to deliver. The only saving grace is that the person serving us was in good spirits and apologised.

The resort is placed on a nice location, just in front of the sea, even though the road to it is not the best you could expect. Good variety of food at the restaurant but quite expensive (for Ghanaian standards). Service helpful and always available when needed.

This place has been gentrified. They didn’t even have proper local food. They even sell cigarettes on the menu! I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating a proper Ghanaian meal.

Really bad experience with the restaurant. Charged way too much for breakfast. Even though I had to go and buy most of the fruits for the fruit salad myself on the street just in front of the place. Food took really long as well, just as the coffees. Waiter was not helpful at all either.

A walking distance from Cape Coast castle. Always busy with people from all over the world. The food is ok and prices are reasonable. The beach is not best for swimming due to the see defence wall that was built in front.

Its alright, the food was very nice. However it was quite crowded but thats possibly due to the festival. But the service was quite slow. I would recommend going there but if you are not patient then best not too. There should have at least more servers to go around as there was alot of guest. But overall a nice place to eat out, very close to sea. And there's an area for a band to play and also a chance to ride horses on the beach. (This is for the restaurant)

It was a superb games night with my buddies and I. Oasis beach resort is a fun spot in town with great ambience, huge selection of food and drinks, and a beach view. We went there with our games, UNO and giant tumble tower and it was a thrilling experience. Will definitely be back!

Oasis beach resort gives a rustic feeling in every part of the resort with a nice location and beachfront, few minutes from the cape coast castle. What I loved about the place is how they have room types for all kinds of travelling, dormitories, standard and luxury paranomic rooms. I personally slept in a dormitory which houses 14people and cost 90cedis. Initially I felt some way with how the whole experience was going to be like but I will admit , it was the best dormitory experience ever, the rooms were safe and spacious, it didn’t even feel like a dormitory . Food on the other hand was a bit pricey but tasty soo good. Staff were also very helpful. Generally I loved the place and is good value for money. My only turn off was how these young boys were smoking all around.

We stayed there for two nights, I would totally recommend it. Lovely resort with clean beach. Food is also good. Prices are fine for what you get. Clean cabin and good water pressure in the shower. Also free WiFi. Great place to visit cape coast.

This was a nice place to stay. The room was nice and had a good view, but quite pricy at 650 GHS a night. The staff were ok although not overly friendly. They serve really good espresso coffee which is hard to find outside Accra.

It is a nice beach area. I didn't stay here, but I know it is less expensive than where I stayed. If you're traveling on a budget or looking to connect with a more local experience than I highly recommend. Our local tour guide took us here and we really enjoyed the few hours here.

Food orders take too long to deliver. Even the simple things like coffee take an unreasonable amount of time.

It's a breezy place with all the best you can find in Cape Coast. It's a few mètres away from Cape Coast castle.

The location of the Resort is very nice. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a stay here. The room we booked was not available and instead of telling us, we were told that there was a mistake and we can get the room the next day. We had to sleep in a old smelly dorm for six people and had to pay almost the price for the whole room. The next day we were told that the room we booked wont be available. We would not have stayed there if we knew we were cheated like this.
