It's been busy at Melcom as always but this time around Christmas 🎄month It's very busy. I came to buy some chocolate 🍫and other edibles just for home and friends. They have many products to be purchased and I love it here. Please check your pocket before you come else you'll buy all the things. They are beautiful and affordable 😍

Shopping centre located right in the central business district. Quality service from customer service personnel, warm welcoming, enhanced security systems, beautiful display of products. They have all you will need; from home appliances to toys, beverages, processed food, wines, etc. Prices you can afford.

Great brands represented. A great place to shop but like every melcom branch very little aisle space. This branch does not have a lot of shoppers coming in as compared to the other across the street

Melcom Limited began life in 1989 by Indian Magnate Bhagwai Khubchandani and consists of 28 outlets across Ghana, West Africa. It is one of the largest retail shops in the country and has the biggest shops situated in the two major cities, Accra and Kumasi (Oxford Business Group 2011).

Melcom Adum main is a nice place to shop. The workers too are very nice. Just that their prices are quite high as compare to the mini shops along the street

It wasn't a bad experience, just that I never knew some TVs come without the wall bracket as our old Tv came with one when we purchased it . So I bought one from melcom and on getting home , realized there was none and when I contacted their customer service, I was told their TVs doesn't come with wall hanger/ bracket. I really felt bad. I was dreaming of enjoying my TV. 😭😭😭

Melcom is a huge super market located at Adum, Kumasi. Everything you want is there. It's a shopping mall with lower prices of items.

Most of the workers do not have good customer service. Asking them a simple question or direction is like calling for a battle. They can do better.

Melcom has been with Ghanaians for years and they are helping the people. Everything that's needed basically at home is there and its make life easier, at least everyone can buy something small and its great. It is mend for only the rich community but everyone no restrictions, during the pandemic social distance and security protocol are in place. Were your mask and wash your hands.

Get it all: household goods like grocery, electronics, decorative gadgets etc. Welcome has it all. One exclusive thing is, you can use your melcom card to make purchases at discounted prices. Also, a loved one can surprise you with a gift card or shopping voucher, ranging from ₵20 to ₵100 or more. Ypy may redeem your voucher by purchasing items that will exhaust the exact amount on the voucher cos fromy experience, if you have some balance on the voucher, it may not be given out, lol. As usual, this is another one stop shop for all your household needs. Everything from kitchenware to indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings. There are 3 floors. The ground floor has processed food items, toiletries and such. The 1st floor has plastics, glassware, hardware and decor items among others. New addition: there is now also a clothing section too on the 1st floor. I also saw a beautiful display of decorative plug-in indoor water fountains. The 2nd floor has the furniture shop. There are stairs and there is also a lift/elevator. There is now also a fast food section on the ground floor closer to the entrance. Prices range widely depending on the product and the section you are shopping in. I think it combines a bit of a Shoprite and a Walmart feel. Check it out and lemme know if you discover anything new.

I like this place as they have almost all sorts of products available...their prices have been very good since they came into system, but don't expect everything to be on low price... Some products are expensive in Melcom and cheap outside Melcom... But yet still, it is a good place to shop as they have almost all sorts of products available... Especially, if you are buying different types of products...

not great experience comparatively to the Accra branch. Am from Accra just wanted to buy a bucket and few essentials. no space to move around especially at the plastic place. got a cut from the shelves in an attempt to move around. As if that was not enough at the clearance desk after payment...just two people on just one table checking one by one the items purchased. the pple so slow and just dont realize the queue thier slow Coach is causing. they definitely can rearrange items to create space for movement, get several tables and faster employees to crosscheck the items one by one as they want it

  • 4/5 Prince Awuah B. 2 years ago on Google
Although I did not get what I wanted to buy, I could easily say their things are less expensive... they can improve their spacing and label their sections though. I almost smashed a TV because of the poor spacing.

The place is well stocked but it's sometimes crowded especially when you get to the checkout counter but I guess it's to be expected since a lot of people patronize them. I believe they can still do something about it though since it gets a little frustrating when you're in a hurry

They sell a wide range of items including electronics, groceries, bed and bath products, kitchen accessories and many more. The parking space however, is inadequate.

I liked the place. Though it's not so busy like recent years. For now they are very selective of what they sell so not all items are available. Wanted to buy oraimo earpiece but couldn't get some. I was frankly disappointed cos oraimo is such a known brand that I expect them to have their products there.

Christmas is fast approaching and my friends and I went there to check out the new prices of their items. Malcom is a very nice place for shopping. The prices of items are moderate as well

Their goods are pricey plus the place is very hot it would be nice if you they had air conditions like the ones in banks or malls .

It's too crowdy at both the entrance and exit which raises a lot of security concerns, aside that, the in-shopping experience is super cool

Melcom to me and all who really know me is 5star but of late prices of good compared to many other places is a bit too high, this the 3star. Aside that every other thing is good 👍

Melcom has been the oldest and still the best in the game since. Good and affordable products, they also have return policies making them safer to buy from. I think they also offer guarantees for like a year also.....lol but has someone ever returned a product after a year? ion think so

Melcom Mall at Adum, Kumasi is a fantastic shopping destination! The wide variety of products, friendly staff, and convenient location make it a top choice for all your shopping needs. I had a great experience shopping here, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

It's a crowded area. If you're walking with your bag behind you, I suggest you put it in front of and hold it tight. There are pickpockets at that area.
