One of the most poorly managed gyms in the area. Frequently will be closed due to random reasons. Facilities themselves are just okay but the management is just terrible. Extremely poorly managed. Don't join unless you enjoy random closures several times a month.

Such a beautiful facility.. I always enjoy coming here but I wish they would reopen the childcare center In the gym. It has been closed for quite some time now with no end in sight. It was such an asset considering there are not many gyms In the area that offer this amenity.

I haven't been to a ton of different gyms....however....the ones I have been to don't even begin to compare to this facility!!! The staff are amazing....everything is well maintained....the amenities are top notch!!!! I could keep going on and on....I was nervous to go back to the gym after covid closures....however when we went back I quickly realized again why we love this place!!! There is a covid "screening process" and temp check everytime you walk in....which seems to double as a contact tracing tool....all staff are wearing masks...plexiglass where it's needed....hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes are at every turn....they have removed some of the cardio machines AND blocked off others so everyone can socially distance....I was also excited that they're still offering classes!!! A sign up is now required to take the class....to maintain class size...but that is totally fine with me....all these procedures add up to me being able to GET healthy while STAYING healthy!!! If you're looking for an outlet to work on yourself and feel great doing it....check them out!!!!

Great facility, all the free weights and machines you could want, plus sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, lap pool, heated saltwater pool, 1/8 mile indoor track. A ton of classes and trainers available as well, at both free and reasonable cost. Friendly folk, individual combination lockers. Nice showers, including handicap accessible ones, suit dryers. Free lotion, deodorant, hair spray, mouthwash. All wrapped in a clean and well maintained package. You really couldn't ask for more.

It’s a decent lifting gym, not very busy and the track is nice. Also, the locker room is very clean. They also have a friendly staff and the track is great. I wish there was a bit more in the free weight room but it’s certainly sufficient for a great workout.

Really nice facilities, but the biggest selling point for me was the steam room. It really helps with my inflamation; sometimes that's the only reason I go there. Other gyms in the area like LA Fitness have dry saunas too but not a steam room. But it seems like the men's steam room is closed every other week for maintenence issues. It's a shame, when they lose their steam room they lose what makes them unique. I don't know what their problem is, but if this garbage continues much longer i'm going to cancel my membership. Also, the hours suck. Not very friendly to people who workout in the evenings.

The gym itself is decent for equipment and space. The staff are, for the most part, respectful and willing to help. The reason I’m leaving after many years is the restricted gym hours and being charged the same price. Covid has been around now for quite some time. There is no reason to continue to have a piece of paper taped on the front door (next to the “permanent” hours etched on the door) with modified hours. The gym already closes way too early on weekends without this restriction. The administration are clueless on how to take member feedback and implement changes to keep their members satisfied.

Best fitness center I ever trained at. State of the Art facility and equipment. Special thanks to Reggie the Men's Locker room attendant: the guy goes out of his way to help people; he is polite, and courteous. A true asset to this organization and deserves a raise along with commendation!

Not what you would expect. It's a beautiful facility. But the pull here is the amenities. Which aren't as great as they seem. The sauna is typically 160-165 Faranheit. Significantly cooler than the Crunch right up the street, which typically is around 197 Faranheit. The steam room has been consistently cooled down since I began my membership here at the beginning of this semester. I've been told conflicting stories about why it's cooler, but judging by the opinions of some of fellow gym members (who complain about the intensity of the heat), I believe the story I was initially told by a staff member which is that they receive a lot of complaints about the heat therapy devices being too hot, and that they choose to cater to these members. Seems like an unwise business strategy to cater to the oldest users when a hot sauna is so close. Both the men's steam room and the men's hot tub are not operational currently. Both of which have been underwhelming while operational. TLDR; not worth the high cost membership if you're interested in heat therapy, as these devices aren't very hot and are often not operational.

Zach Stoney, the massage therapist at WCCTHFC, is amazing and so good at what he does! In addition to being a great massage therapist, he has a mild manner and is an excellent “teacher.” He has taught me a lot about anatomy and how to relax and enhance my health! I highly recommend him! 🤗

I LOVE this place.. the people who work there, the equipment, the steam room, the warm and cold lap pools and the whirlpools.. I also love the massages I've received (you sign up for them).. Zach has given me two great massages (deep tissue) and I feel like a million bucks! (but you don't need a million bucks to join or to get a massage:)...

Steam Room and Sauna are consistently too cool. Is a real shame. I used to go to this gym half a decade ago regularly and back then the steam room and sauna were great. A significant blemish on a premium cost facility that damages the experience.

I've been a member for many years. I signed up mainly for the fitness classes which have all gone down hill. Classes are 45 minutes (previously used to be 1.0 hour) and the selection is very limited, while the price of membership increases. I'm looking around for a better alternative. I don't recommend this place at this time.

The actual facility is wonderful but the staff members have such a lack of communication between each other. If you call you’ll be on hold for a long time and you’ll just constantly be transferred from one person to another. Nobody seems to know what’s going on or are able to answer questions about classes.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I was a little upset that they're requiring masks again so I expressed my feelings. They were extremely rude back and as we were working out continued to helicopter us to put the mask over our nose. I know many people feel that this is the right thing, but I'm not one of them, and that's the beauty of being in a FREE country! There are several studies that show the masks do NOTHING. Actually do your own research people instead of following what the mainstream media says!

PLEASE BE AWARE: This gym will tell you that you need to do a personal health assessment when you sign up for a membership, and the information which they gather from it they will then sell to a company they partner with. They will not tell you about this until you arrive for an in person appointment to sign up for a membership, at which point they will tell you to sign paperwork allowing them access to your personal health information and allowing them to to do the health assesment. They cannot legally require you to do this, so you can refuse to sign the paperwork, although they will tell you it is necessary to get a membership.

  • 5/5 Jim E. 2 years ago on Google
No mask requirement if you're vaccinated. Still not as busy as it was pre-pandemic.

This is known as the best gym in A2, hands down not only is it the best in the city it has even more perks than the “VIP” gym Equinox.

Equipment is great!!! Hours are poor, staff seem frustrated with complaints, and the price just isn't worth it anymore

  • 4/5 Amy O. 4 years ago on Google
I have been ruined for all other gyms forever. I would be here every day if I could. No one has what they have or offers the same atmosphere. It's just too flippin' expensive. I have started and stopped my account here several times because I could afford it for a few months and then couldn't. Being able to put your account on hold once per year has been handy, but the monthly dues and initiation fees are not cheap. If you can afford it, I recommend it. If you can't, sorry, you'll have to settle for Planet Fitness and lower your expectations.

I’m a huge fan of THFC at WCC! The membership cost seems a little high at first but when you realize what all it includes, it’s well worth the cost. Having locker and towel service included is a huge bonus, most classes included, and pool/hot tubs/sauna/steam room. As a runner, I really appreciate the indoor track for the winter days that are too cold or too icy to run outside. I’ve always had positive interactions with staff and have appreciated all the ways they’ve protected their patrons during COVID.

Love this gym! The equipment is great, there are many options to vary in routines to keep up motivation. Staff is super helpful. The only thing I think should be improved is opening hours. Evening hours are limited.

This facility has many treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, workout machines, a running track, two pools with a hot tub, a weight lifting area, a gym and several classrooms. The center is always kept clean and masking rules are in place. The locker rooms have a sauna, steam room and hot tub. The fitness staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

  • 5/5 Michelle K. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place! They provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, qtips and water as well as self creating locks, women's/men's only hot tubs and wet and dry saunas- I believe they have a Co-ed hot tub as well in the pool area...and exercise classes, exercise machines and free weights as well as nutritional classes and incentives to work out!

Very lovely space. Felt more like a spa than a gym. Natasha helped me with signing up and gave me a tour. Vlad helped me with paperwork. Sara has been my personal trainer and has done a fantastic job of knowing my needs and creating unique routines that push my limits.

I love coming here, but it’s frustrating that almost all the classes fill up super quick now. That was my whole reason for joining. If possible it would be great if they could add more classes.

I am a big-time fan of this lovely Center which has way too many positive amenities to list! Maranda McMaster is an amazing, skilled Personal Trainer, who has done excellent work helping me improve my strength, flexibility and balance. I've also watched her with other clients and it warmed my heart to witness her grounded, attentive, patient and caring style when also working with others. Sincere thanks, Maranda!!!!

Really great place! Trust me, I was at Equinox in NYC for years, and also at Liberty in Ann Arbor for a while. This is an awesome gym. Best thing is no children! 👍🏼 The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because their hours on Fridays, Sat and Sun are hard for me. Wish they stayed open longer those days.

One of the luxurious gyms I have ever been. Lots of caucasian beautiful women there which is perfect view during your workout ;) Antiseptic wipes and sanitizers in every corner. 3 group classes room. Acceptable quality soap, lotion, and so on. However, I do wish that they provide antibacterial soap instead of regular one. Person training prices are still a little bit over priced even if you buy lots of sessions. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't got fungal from here on my elbows and knees, parts of my body that I use mostly during workout.

  • 5/5 Bruce K. 4 years ago on Google
Love the gym! It never seems to be too overly crowded when I go (5-7 pm on weekdays, mid morning weekends) and the facility is always clean. The price is a bit more expensive compared to other gyms but all classes are included and can be attended whenever desired without signing up prior. My wife and I particularly enjoy the spinning courses. The indoor track is also great for those runs where you just don't feel like going outside nor going on a treadmill.

A clean facility with wonderful staff! Someone is always greeting you and keeping towels and cleaning towelettes stocked. There is always someone drying/mopping the bathroom floor so it makes it easier for everyone to walk and not slip out of the showers. The equipment is really great. I have only had one issue with one treadmill after using this facility since 2013, and that says a lot about the facilities upkeep. Well done, thank you as always!

Pricy over $60/month. Staff is kind and the facility and various classes make this gym unique. They have hot dry and steam sauna which I love. The water temperature for shower is SO COLD. Sometime it gets really hot but most of the time water is cold for shower. Often, water suddenly gets cold and then gets hot. Notified staff but it didnt get fixed yet for 3 months now. Finally got a cold. The locker room floor is not that clean.

Fantastic gym! Wide range of equipment available, great indoor running track. Excellent locker rooms stocked with body wash, towels, steam room, hot tub, mouth wash, etc. They have a pool, volleyball (might need to sign up on a team or something, didn't look into it), fitness classes, and personal training. I've been to a fair number of gyms, the only thing I think comes close to WCC is Lifetime Fitness.
