I love the closeness to the see of the resort. They have a playing area as well as a swimming pool. I had breakfast there and I enjoyed it. The service was good. It's a lovely place for a good retreat out of town. They also offer activities such as cycling, canoe rides, castle visit etc. The guy at the reception desk was friendly and professional. I am looking forward to rating the rooms next on my next visit but I'll go ahead an recommend the place.

Impeccably clean and comfortable room. Well tended grounds with plenty of greenery. The restaurant staff is attentive and meals are tasty and arrive in a timely fashion. I can't say enough about the friendly staff who clearly want you to enjoy your stay. The swimming pool is clean and inviting and big enough for all the guests. The seafront here can be reached easily over a stone breakwater, but there is a lovely beach reached by a short (200 meters) walk

My friends and I had an Amazing time at Lemon! It was my 1st time in Ghana, and I celebrated my birthday while staying at Lemon.I was very pleased my corner unit, top floor Continental Double accommodations. From my balcony, the view of the sea, beach and the property line, gave me a beautiful serene feeling. The pictures online definitely match the actual property. The food, drinks, beach, pool, staff, and activities (African drumming and dance; beach bonfire; visit to local school) added another layer of greatness to my stay. The owners were on location and made it a point to engage with the guests. The staff was super accommodating, kind, and professional. I have to give a special shout out to the restaurant servers that gave me an amazing birthday song and dance! Emmanuel, August, Richard, Isaac, and Dennis- you guys were amazing! Lemon knows how to do it right- service, accommodations, activities, cleanliness, and attentiveness. Another great thing about Lemon is that at my request, they coordinated for me a visit to a local primary school. It is there were I committed to sponsoring a child for school supplies/fees. If you are looking to support a child's education , ask for Dennis. Lemon will be a repeat for me.

The lemon beach 🍋 resort was such a good rest, which was unfortunately too short. The normal rooms were very nice and modernly decorated. However, they also have cute and wonderful bungalows. Just Breathtaking. In addition, there is the view that you have not gotten enough of. Room service was very hygienic and on point and above all very nice and funny. At the restaurant, the food and drinks were very appetising and had a very good taste. The service was very polite and charming. They also offer many exciting and fun programs such as wellness centres, sports activities or tours through cape coast. Would enjoy my vacation there every year.🌴☀️

I had a very good experience at Lemon with my sister, who was visiting Ghana for the first time. We were lucky they had a room available after we survived the canopy walk in Kakum. The service was amazing... two thumbs up! I gave four overall stars for three reasons: 1) The bath towels were air-dried and VERY rough. That was unexpected and very uncomfortable after a nice, soothing, warm shower. 2) The headboard on the bed/wall was a beautiful and interesting conversation piece, but it wasn't practical/functional. We couldn't sit up in bed to watch TV. 3) There was no beach access because of safety reasons due to the terrain. They do offer access through another hotel, though. The food was okay. I would have enjoyed my burger more if it was from a choice cut; there were several bits of cartilage in it. My sister enjoyed her food, though, and that's what really mattered to me. The complimentary breakfast was great! My overall experience was very good, and I will go again and again.

Lemon Beach was the oasis my family needed after spending a few weeks in various parts of Ghana. I really appreciated the help we received from Isaac in reception and Prince in the restaurant. The property is gorgeous and caters to your every need. With the fan and the window open, we did not need air conditioning. The walk along the rocks to the beach is delightful and breathtaking. The swimming pool was cleaned daily and we enjoyed hearing the ocean waves while swimming. The restaurant staff works very hard and accommodated every request we made. We really enjoyed the food selection. There is security all along the property and many staff around to make you feel safe. There’s a lot of activities to keep you busy on the property. Elmina castle was a 5 minute taxi ride away too. I would visit Lemon Beach again in a heartbeat.

I had such a wonderful time at Lemon Beach. The service is top notch and the property is spacious and beautifully laid out with a dock for viewing the sunrise. The dancers and drummers were such a delightful addition to my dinner experience as well as the night time bonfire. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Wow!!!!! Such an amazing experience staying with the wonderful team at Lemon Beach. They are the friendliest of people and will do anything to help you to make sure you have a memorable stay. The food is excellent and every dish we had was really tasty. The rooms are great and we have a lovely view. We did a few experiences which were just amazing - cycle ride through the town, visit to the fish market, visit to the local school, boat trip, cooking experience with a local and visit to the castle. Wow, wow, it was fantastic. I have to also mention that the owners of this Hotel do their very best to help the local community and this is really inspiring. This is our first time to the Lemon Beach Hotel and there's no way we could not come again. It was that good. You'll love it, we did.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful resort. Spacious comfortable room. Food was good. Lovely pool area overlooking the ocean and with private beach access. Staff were fantastic: special thanks to Isaac who helped us to arrange a bus transfer back to Accra and to Emmanuel. Would love to have stayed longer!

My stay at lemon beach was absolutely fantastic. It's beautiful, calm and relaxing. Even more beautiful in person. The staff was friendly. Tasty foods at the restaurant. The room/chalets are clean and spacious. Amazing beach views. I don't usually rate places but this place deserves a 5 star. I would go there over and over again. If you are looking for a get away place in Ghana, this is your place.

My wife, baby and I stayed here for two nights and had a great trip. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the portions were large. We loved sitting by the pool and drinking savanas. The beach within walking distance is beautiful and clean. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and private. Can't wait to stay again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Lemon Beach Resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. George was such a star, he was very helpful and polite and addressed our concerns promptly. The restaurant service could be better though, the waiting time for meals was long. For breakfast the eggs were cold. Also, the assorted spaghetti we ordered was extremely salty and had to be returned. Other than these, it was such an amazing trip and will be back. Good work guys, please keep it up.

I would visit again. Spent 2 nights there and the customer service is great. The owner is wonderful - so hospitable. Loves to share and help guests. Enjoyed the food portions (generous) and the complimentary drinks. I loved the fact that I could swim as late as I wanted - no time limits with that! Beautiful resort and calming and welcoming atmosphere. Loved it!

Our stay at lemon beach was simply amazing. We had such a great time and the kids really had lots of fun. The food was great. George was awesome, he often went beyond and above and was very patient even with my son. Thank you and we will be visiting again soon.

This was a wonderful stay. We stayed for three nights on the top floor in the main house. The rooms have modern interior and everything (AC, Bathroom, comfortable beds) works well and was very clean. The poolside is perfect to relax and take a swim. The restaurant’s menu offers a wide range of good food. The staff is very friendly and always helped with everything we asked for. Best service we have experienced during our trip so far. Also, the place is modern in terms of email confirmation of reservations and payments. We felt always welcomed and safe. Medasi!

Had an amazing stay at Lemon Beach Resort. The resort itself is beautiful, the food is delicious and staff (across all teams) were attentive, patient and friendly. I took advantage of the many activities the resort has to offer and had a bike tour of Elmina with my tour guide Stephen. He did a great job showing me around, and he was also super helpful (alongside Isaac on the front desk) with any issues or queries we had during our stay. I would absolutely recommend the resort as I had a memorable stay and would love to visit again!

We did not lodge at lemon beach resort. We only went there to eat. The food I ate was good, however, I did not like the spicy chicken for starters. I would have preferred a spicy fried chicken rather than cooked one. The grilled beef steak was nice. The ice coffee to was nice. The surroundings was serene and cool

Lemon Beach Resort was fantastic. It is a beautiful and extremely relaxing place to stay. The staff was always nice and accommoding. The rooms were spacious and I appreciated the comfortable beds and the large shower with great water pressure. The food was delicious with a nice mix of local and more western cuisine. On our first night we saw one of the most amazing dance troupes and entertainers I have ever seen. Loved it so much and we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had a wonderful stay. The facilities are unmatched. The pool is perfect. You have to walk a bit to get to the beach due to the defense wall but it’s only a few minutes. The food service can be slow, anywhere from 30 min to an hour, although everything is made on site and fresh so as long as you plan ahead, it’s not an issue. Overall highly recommend it!

I stayed at lemon beach resort for 3 nights and I must say my favorite part of the trip was the customer service. The staff really know how to make you feel like you are on a vacation. I spent lots of time on my terrace and sitting by my window just watching and listening to the sea. It was so calming and peaceful. I truly enjoyed myself and forgot about my real life during those days I spent there. The food was also amazing and not as costly as I expected. Overall I loved the experience and would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a vacation spot. My only issue would be that, there were not many activities to do but I guess that could be because I went there during the week? And they probably have most of their fun activities over the weekends? All in all, it was a really great vacation I had. Thank you Lemon Beach resort.

We were looking forward to know this part of the country, and we were told about this place. When booking, we could see the beautiful pictures on the web, and when arriving there we were able to check how lovely, charming and peaceful the place is. We only were there for two nights, and although it was short, our stay was really really good. The pool, the little houses with its special roofs, the vegetation, palms, trees, flowers… the stone paths… it all forms a perfect site to spend a few days totally relaxed, and if there are people incredibly kind and helpful as there really are, your stay will be as good as ours. Thank you to all this people, to every one of them who were constantly there to make our stay so lovely as it was: Stephen, Solomon, Jeff, George and Prince. (A little note: when you are at the restaurant, they take time to bring you your order). Anyway, I hope we can repeat the experience, we will be delighted!

Our weekend at Lemon Beach Hotel was a tranquil escape filled with relaxation and cultural richness. The warm welcome and attentive service created a serene atmosphere from the start. The delectable and varied cuisine, along with the well-appointed accommodations, added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. However, what truly set Lemon Beach apart was its enchanting African setting, evident in every detail of the decor and design. This thoughtful incorporation of cultural elements made our experience unique and memorable. We highly recommend Lemon Beach Hotel to those seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of cultural immersion.

My experience at Lemon Beach Resort was amazing. The details and services provided by the owner David and the entire staff were top notch. The views and ambiance of the location are the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation or weekend end getaway. The best part about this quaint property is the absence of the hustle and bustle of a trendy overcrowded resort. It was truly a home away from home. The security staff made me feel safe to walk the property day or night. I highly recommend giving Lemon Beach Resort a try. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you to the staff and management for such a wonderfully peaceful and amazing environment. I’ll definitely be back!!!!

What an amazing time we had here! From the moment we arrived the team of staff took great care of us! The grounds are beautifully maintained, our room was clean and comfortable and the ambiance (despite multiple rain showers making the beach a bit of a puddle) was incredible. This trip was unique as I traveled with my 2 year old son and my mom visiting from the states and we wanted to experience as much as we could in a 3 night stay. The team picked us up in Accra, took us too and from several excursions we booked directly through them and returned us to Accra at the end of our time there. They were exceptionally kind and always interacted with my son, taking care that he had a great time too! (They even had a high hair for him) We were able to go to Kakum, the Elmina Castle, take a boat tour of the fishing lagoon, do a walking tour of the markets and town and enjoy the beach and pool! Eric was our driver from Accra and back, and he was safe, polite and navigated monsoons and traffic very well! He also ensured we were connected with the right people for activities we arranged in town. George was our tour guide for a 90 minute walking tour and he was very knowledgeable and took care to ensure we gained as much information and observation as possible! It is not a large resort, which was perfect for us as we soaked up the sounds of the ocean and birds while relaxing on our patio! I would highly recommend this quaint retreat for your stay!

We did enjoy our stay in lemon beach, the experienced performance of the dancing group on Saturday night was the cream on the cake, which we will never forget. One negative issue was about the bathroom, the shower panel which water was linking under as you shower, anyway I have inform the staff about the problem. Overall experience was 9 out of 10. I will be looking forward to visit lemon beach next time i visit my beloved motherland 🇬🇭. Keep up the good work.

I stayed at lemon beach for 3 days. It was lovely. The set up of the resort is excellent. Very well maintained and clean. The food is delicious The rooms are comfortable and clean The staff and friendly and accommodating. My only critique would be so say it would’ve been nice to have a small drier on the balcony to hang my kids costumes and towels after the pool. . I had to find places to dry them.

100% recommended!! They helped us a lot before the trip with the visa application and also helped us arranging a great driver for our 13 days road trip around Ghana. My son, my wife and I enjoyed our 4 nights at the Lemon Beach resort! The resort is beautiful! Spacious rooms and really clean! 2 swimming pools (one for kids and for for grownups), great food and cocktails (with and with no alcohol) and service at the restaurant! I liked the bond fire at the beach and also the performance on Friday with dancers, musicians and with the fire! If you are looking for a place to stay and/or to eat, consider this place!

A very pleasant, small property on the beach about 15 minutes West of Elmina Castle by taxi. Accommodations are ideal, in West African style but with fully modern bathroom, comfortable bed, overhead fan, and breezy screened windows for natural ventilation. The entire property is clean and secure. Full restaurant with a wide menu of choices, including quality local dishes, excellent coffee, and a full bar. The beach is lovely. Although access to the water is obstructed by a scenic but rocky erosion barrier, there is a spectacular open beach just 150m walk East. There is a well-maintained pool with proper deck furniture. The staff was uniformly attentive and helpful. I was lucky enough to see on Saturday night an excellent traditional drumming and dance performance. I highly recommend the Lemmon Beach Resort for both business and leisure stays.

Lemon Beach is spectacular. It’s peaceful, beautiful and breathtaking. You are surrounded by ocean. You are feet from the shore line. You can own your windows and hear the waves. This is wonderful for couples who need to refresh their marriage. It’s a great place to just be simple, eat drink, sight see, do some cultural experiences or just relax.

We were warmly welcomed by Kwame and clearly explained systems in place at Lemon Beach. Staff were all polite and friendly and a big thank you to Dennis, Felix and Solomon who went above and beyond. Massage was excellent and thorough. A dedicated smoking area away from the restaurant and huts would be great for non smokers and smokers alike, as they would know where they can go. The evening entertainment of drummers and dancers were superb and got everyone up and involved. Great to have had some men selling handmade goods e.g. bags clothes etc.. The chefs prepared tasty freshly cooked meals

We had a wonderful time at Lemon Beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our rooms. We only had one or two issues with the light and staff helped right away. We especially enjoyed lounging on the deck late in the night. And the pool is delightful. I would definitely go again.

My stay in Lemon Beach Resort was excellent! I stayed week and a half and there were nothing to complain about. The room was clean, there was a nice bench to sit outside as well. Bathroom was spacious. Air conditioning had no malfunctions. The surroundings in the resort were really well kept. It was fun that there were watermelons growing in the flower beds and some of the herbs were self-grown. The service was good, especially in the restaurant it was always extremely polite and it really made my stay really enjoyable. The food was good and fresh. The breakfast was delicious and with pre-order they were even kind enough to serve it before the actual breakfast time, so I could meet the engagements I had elsewhere on time. Thank you for the flexibility! The hotel is a bit far away from the city center and some parts of the road were in bad condition, but luckily we had a local driver who knew all the bumps on the road. I highly recommend this little hidden gem!

My family of four stayed here during our Time in El Mina. The team here is top notch, consummate professionals and willing to go the extra mile. Special thanks to George and Stephen for making us feel so welcomed. The amenities and activities are great. My teens had a really good time and if you have teens you know that’s quite a feat. Anyway if you are trying to decide which resort to stay at while in El Mina there’s no need to look further! Lemon Beach Resort is the place to be. Oh let me not forget the food.. Jeez the food is outstanding my compliments to the chefs and wait staff!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Lemon Beach Resort. We found the accommodations were clean, comfortable and our room was well appointed. Lemon Beach Resort exceeded all my expectations. The stunning location allowed us to connect with the region’s culture. The serenity and tranquility of Lemon Beach Resort offered my husband and me a much-needed peace of mind. The rooms are designed as cottages, which not only adds to its charm but also provides a sense of privacy and exclusivity. The staff provided top-notch service, including efficient room service and reliable laundry service. The meals served at Lemon Beach Resort were a true delight. The chefs prepared delicious and well-presented dishes that satisfied our taste buds. During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the resort, who proved to be an exceptional host. He was always available and approachable, ready to offer any assistance or address any concerns we had. His friendly and kind demeanor made us feel welcome and valued as guests. Lemon Beach Resort proved to be a splendid holiday spot and a home away from home. With its scenic location, impeccable cleanliness, excellent services, great amenities, delicious meals, and friendly staff, it offers a value for money package that is hard to beat. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit, as Lemon Beach Resort has definitely won us over.

Nice ambience, I didn't spend the night but stopped over on a day trip. They have a decent variety of foods on their menu and it doesn't taste bad. My lobster was overcooked but otherwise everyone in my party liked their dish. Note the beach I'd not accessible from there as there is a rock wall sea defense project on their side of the shore, but a short 3 minute walk will bring you to the beach and you can enjoy the sea and sand

I really enjoyed my stay at Lemon Beach Resort! The place was really clean, the food was great and the staff was very nice, especially Richmond! I also got a massage but I wouldn't necessarily recommend, the woman left me with bruises even after I asked her to reduce the force. The driver, George, was nice too but a bit moody and I thought it was pretty expensive for some of the rides. I really enjoyed the pool and there were some sofas in front of each room that makes it nice to relax. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely stay there again!

Ocean front, gorgeous pool areas, beautiful bar and restaurant, excellent service and very well appointed rooms. The only thing I can think here is that people are trying to keep this resort a secret. Do not miss out if you are headed to Elmina on the Cape Coast of Ghana, I stayed in an ocean front room , that was very large, beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed. A large screen TVs. More than everything you could want in a Resort.

I went to Lemon Beach with a friend for 4 days, and we absolutely loved it! Our room was very modern, with a big comfortable bed, bathroom and balcony with view over the ocean. The decor was modern, and AC was working well. The facilities at the resort were also very well kept, like it's obvious they do good maintenance of the garden and the pool as well as the beach area and restaurant/bar. Parking was inside the premises and readily available. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, answering us fast on WhatsApp, and generally going out of their way to help us. The place just has a great vibe, and some nights there were activities like performance from the local dancing school or live music which we enjoyed since we were so exhausted from the rest of our vacation (we came from Accra) that we stayed in at least two nights. Food at the restaurant was good and inexpensive. I mostly had seafood as this was very fresh and well prepared. Be prepared to wait though, as they make everything when you order it, so you are not gonna get your food after 10-15 minutes. Generally we didn't mind, as we would just take a dip in the pool while waiting, but just be prepared if you are in a hurry :) If I come back to Ghana, I'm definitely staying here again!

Lemon Beach is great value for the price. My room (a chalet) was very nice, charming decor, great sheets, decent mattress. The service is all around excellent, which you don’t always find to be the case in Ghana. The food was good, the Negroni cocktail great, check-in was easy. The Saturday evening drumming and dancing group (with some amazing children!) was an extra treat. Only two things would make it even better: A few years’ time so the coconut trees grow taller, and removal of the sea defense wall (which isn’t going to happen and is not in the hotel’s control). The sea defense wall, to prevent climate-change related ocean rise from eroding towns and villages (and hotels) blocks direct access to the beach; however, an easy five minute walk to the east gets you to a beautiful sandy beach with no sea defense wall.

The only reason I’m deducting a star is because of the disappointing miscommunication that led to us waking up at 6am after already confirming a bird tour, only to have to wait an hour to utilize awful awful bikes( we didn’t pay for the bike tour ofc but still) Other than that it was a marvelous trip!!! The staff was excellent, food was delicious, drinks were on point and the facility was in great condition. Will definitely be back soon!

Visited Lemon Beach Resort for a weekend at the end of April. It was truly an amazing resort. Everything was excellent. The decor was modern and the rooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was tasty ( I recommend the chicken pizza) and the drinks were strong. Also the location of the resort is perfect, right next to the beach. The best part is that the staff at the resort were extremely responsive. Special shoutout to Stephen for being an amazing employee. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend this resort!

We had another great stay at Lemon Beach Resort. The room was exceptional - perfectly clean, lovely attention to detail and a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool was fantastic for the whole family and the breakfast was lovely. The staff are always attentive and extremely well trained. It's our home when we travel to Elmina :)

The resort was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. Great location. We really loved the character of the resort. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks to this guys for making our stay a lovely one. Mr. White - Bar Attendant is really a nice person.

Lemon Beach Resort was pleasant and wonderful vacation. When the time I called to book a room, till I checked out, all the staff were warm and friendly to me. The food was good. I enjoyed every meal I ordered for. The cocktails were nice too. The ambience and environment was very calming. I wish I didn’t have to leave the day I did but alas, you can’t have enjoyment all the time. There are activities to keep you busy and entertained. Also, if you’re a morning person, you can catch the sun rise by the beach. It’s such a beautiful sight. It’s definitely a place worth going again for a longer stay and I do intend on doing that. My only recommendation will be to incorporate a buffet style eating setting when the resort is near full capacity. Or you can order ahead of time so you’re not kept waiting.

The service was amazing. All of the employees were very helpful and attentive. Great music, good vibes and a nice place for pictures. The performance was fun as well. Michael made the experience great (he also makes great drinks and gave good advice on food options) … Isaiah (at reception) made checking in and out a breeze. Stay here, relax and you will not be disappointed.

A fabulous experience with outstanding service. Every member of the team seemed like one big family who couldn’t do enough for you. Food was amazing and great value for money. We didn’t get every member of staff’s name, but George and Sophia epitomised the dedication to service of all of the staff. Highly recommended.
