Established in the year 1981, this government museum houses physical evidences that witnessed the rich cultural history of Begusarai. Stone sculptures of Lord Buddha, Lord Ganesh, Sun God and Lord Vishnu etc. can be seen here. Coins, ranging from the period of Pal rule, Mauryan Rule to the end of British Era in India are treasured in the museum. Other attractions include manuscripts, terracotta and pottery specimens. Art objects are collected from all around the town, though the centuries.

Establishment of Begusarai Museum Begusarai Museum was established in the year 1981. What are the preserved pottery sculptures in the museum: The museum has displays of pottery from the Mauryan period to the Pal period.

The best city of bihar.

On visiting this place, we got to see many types of ancient objects, coins, toys, manuscripts, stone statues etc. Seeing this, we felt very good and proud that till now we were able to see in reality the same thing which we used to read only through words in books. This also increased our knowledge. Which proved useful for us to some extent!!!
