It was awesome experience staying in Garhwal homestay. Affordable price with excellent food quality, service and having a excellent view of mountains. If you are nature liver, then I highly recommend to visit this place.

I came to know about Garhwal House Home Stay Kanaktal through Facebook, started discussing about booking with Sh. Deep Ji & Sh. Preetam Ji. It's really very nice place for nature lovers, quite beautiful & scene place, amazing & safe secure stay for families even. Rooms & washrooms were very neat, clean & got all required facilities too. Enjoyed a lot with music & bonefire during evening. Foods & Snacks etc all prepared very hygiene, tasty & fresh. Food quality was really delicious & fresh. Moreover everything was in very economical range. Whether was really very cool & Jabardast. Owner & whole Staff is highly cooperative, cool minded & very supportive espically Deep ji, Preetam Ji, Kartik Ji, Sohan Ji & Deepak Ji. I personally give 5/5 i.e. 5* in all fields. Best place to stay. 360 degree view. All 3 category rooms are well maintained and comfortable to stay with beautiful himalayan view from window. children enjoy open space to play. Food quality is good. They prepared fresh food of our choice. Here owner personally take care of all guests. Very friendly and homely feeling during our stay at garhwal house.

I stayed at Garhwal house with my friends , the location of the property is very beautiful , staff is very helpful and courteous the food served here is very tasty home like food they serve you traditional pahadi food also if you ask for the same and food is freshly made every time unlike other hotels and restaurants ....what else can one expect so all in all very nice place to live admist nature .

Very very nice place. If u only sit in the lawn ur time will pass. Nearby there is apple garden which is very nice to see. One can roam in the village also.

I stayed with my wife and 2 kids during 12th may to 16th May 2023. This is actually very recent and I came here from Ahmedabad. I will start from beginning, we reached earlier but owner Shri Pritam gave us good place till rooms were available for check in. Shri Deep Singh who was in Delhi also called and checked our well being. So nice to remember. Entire staff is extremely good mannered. Place is neat, clean and beautiful with so many fruit plants. We relished pahadi food a lot. Food is quite reasonable and variety is good. Evenings are amazing and Himalayan views are extremely good if you are lucky. Some suggestions from our side without reducing the rating: 1- rooms must be cleaned daily. 2- keep your sports items intact and always ready to be used. 3- you can plan a singer/ guitarist on demand if a large group want to enjoy in "non alcoholic manner" 4- arrange guided villege tours,jungle trails and, have the facility card for customers.... you can also keep a brochure for guests with complete details of tourist attractions. 5- Billing should be computerised.
