Came to the restaurant and no waiters where interested to talk with us. Had to stop one running past. Did book a table with nice view, but was seated at a table without view. Was first asked to sit by the table next to the entrance. At the same time as the waitress let people behind us passing by. No really impressed off the service at all! After swapping from one table to another we could finally start enjoying the place. Food was good as well as the new waiter that was serving us. Beautiful restaurant and as well spectacular view.

THE WORST SERVICE on Gran Canaria so far! Unfriendly and rude! Except for the view, the place is very far from nice. The food was okay, but nothing special, not the one you want to come back for. They served us main dishes and only appetizers after. They asked us 3 times if we are ready to leave with the table half-full with food 😳 The waiter just grabbed my unfinished dish and tried to take it away without asking 😳When we asked to pay, the server brought the card machine and just left! 😳 We had to figure out how to pay with the card by ourselves 😳

Stunning view. Unluckily the staff wasn’t very motivated. Reason might be that we visited off-peak season (May 2022), during the week. First thing to mention is the grubby menu. Those really have to either be cleaned from time to time, or to be replaced more often. And here we already deduct by 1 star to 4. It’s just unnecessary and gives you a bad feeling for the overall hygiene of a place you’re about to eat. Luckily the restaurant was pretty empty, so we can’t complain about the speed of the service. Unluckily they’ve been out of the meals we wanted, so we had to choose otherwise - annoying, but this can happen. On the plus side, the beer (€ 3,43 a mug) was good and refreshing. Sitting outside, having a drink, enjoying the nice weather and the stunning view… full heartedly giving the missing star back. Wandering through the really nice and empty restaurant on my way to the toilet (handwashing a must after the sticky menu), I do get a good feeling about the place. The interior is nice, the view from inside as well… It must’ve have been quite the effort to build this place into the rock. Actually pretty amazing. Anyway, the toilets… and here’s your 2 stars minus. Two toilets. One of them in most horrendous way clogged. The other one with a defect flush button. Honestly, this is such a nice place, it wasn’t the end of the peak season. Maintain your interior. Sure needed a 2nd beer after this. The food itself wasn’t bad or so, rather lower average though. As a starter for two people we had the Papas arrugadas for € 4,-. Those where good and a lot, even though not salty at all. The Revuelto verduras for € 8,20, as well as the Tacos de pescado for € 9,40 where nothing special. The amount of vegetables on the plates was disappointing and overcooked. Since lower average isn't good enough for a restaurant, another minus 1 star. Might have been a bad day to visit, but the restaurant itself and the terrasse are really nice. Even with turning a blind eye and much to our regret, we just can’t recommend this place. It could be so much more, but just isn’t. Why going to a restaurant when the food isn’t truly tasty? A disappointment unluckily.

We came in reluctantly based on reading the previous reviews. We found here none of the problems people were complaining about. The service was quick, the waiters were very nice and the prices were really fair. Taking into account the view, it was quite a bargain, I would say. I hope this place will soon get a better reputation.

This place is absolutely beautiful, but don’t come here if you want good attention from the staff or good food because the only good thing about this place is the location. We arrived and sat down at a nice spot, the seats were hard to sit on for a long time and it took too long for a waitress to come so I headed down to the bar to ask for some drinks and fries, She told me that she could take the drinks but another waiter would come to take up my order for fries. After one hour he still didn’t come. The drinks were not okay, the beer was fine and so was the fanta but the coffe was not good, I ordered a Latte Machiatto and got a bad coffee. Not good and only reccomend for the view.

Good place to have lunch, amazing food and moderate prices. The fruity wine is highly recommended. The staff are friendly. Imagine dining in a cave !with a great view of the mountains. I would not say 4 stars only because of the luxury.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and good food. The menu offers mostly meat, which was what we were looking for! We really enjoyed coming here. They also have lovely windows inside to look out over the landscape. We visited in January and the weather was still perfect to sit outside.

The view and the food were super good, only that they have big delay in serving, offering soupe before entries and forgetting to come with the bill being in the pisition to ask for it at the bar and never leave until I receive it. I lost a lot of time there. The entrance is through a cave, something I have never seen. Enough parking places, special dishes.

Very slow service, forgot half of our order. Leftovers on most tables with flies everywhere, and pigeons scouring for food. The food itself was okay but with loveless presentation. Only positive is the amazing location within a cave and a breathtaking view into the island.

Food was only OK. Service dire. We waited an hour for a bread roll to arrive. Ribs were raw - we sent them back to be cooked more. My pork chops were dry and covered in a thick layer of salt and raw near the bone. A handful of chips and a bizarre combination of soggy vegetables (half a mushroom, one cauliflower floret, a slice of courgette and a single slice of carrot) accompanied the dishes. The view is great, however, so just come for a drink and don’t eat here!

Good food, very nice landscape (in fact it is a "mirador"), and good prices. And the terrace is pretty cool even in the hot summer weather.

Authentic Gran Canarian food with a splendid panaromic view. This is not a place with pages and pages of menu. They have a simple menu with meat, fish and vegetables sourced locally. Cooked perfectly, tasted divine and prices are affordable. Must visit restaurant.

Spectacular view and atmosphere. I recommend booking in advance because of the events that they are organizing. We tried a tapas menu for 12€ a person. The portions were big, and we couldn't have finished our portions. From what we have received, which was: pimientos padron, papas arugadas, sardinas, chorizo, croquetas, queso. I highly recommend sardinas. Chorizo was something I like the least. One more time stunning view. What I would suggest would be to put the bread and alioli in the tapas price or change it for refresco included.

👍👍 Tucked away in the small village of Artenara, Gran Canaria, Spain, there is a boutique eatery that serves up some of the best vegetarian and vegan food you'll find anywhere in the Canaries. After hearing about la Biocrepería RiscoCaído from a vegan friend, my girlfriend and I made plans to go there...
