Excellent depiction of Sikh culture and religion. The depiction of Guru sahib's life, teachings and the battles fought between the Sikhs and the Mughals. Once you enter the museum you feel like you're living those moments again. A very nice experience.

Virasat-e-Khalsa is amazing! 🏰✨ It's a peaceful and fascinating place with incredible art and history. When I walked into the museum, I was like, "Wow, the craftsmanship is mind-blowing!" It's the best spot to visit for a mix of cool facts and a calm vibe. Just a heads up, photography inside the museum is prohibited. Still, highly recommend! 👏🌟 #MustVisit #VirasatEKhalsa

It's superbly huge. Very brilliant work of art and graffiti. Very neat and clean maintained. However I feel the lighting inside is a little low to admire the wall beauty.

If you ever find yourself near Chandigarh, check out Virasat-e-Khalsa in Anandpur Sahib. It's a huge museum with lots of parking and green spaces around. The building is really cool, covered in fantastic art and graffiti. It's super clean and well-kept. When you step inside, it's like "wow"! You get to learn about the history of Punjab and Sikhism – they even tell you stories. It's a must-visit place, and you'll leave with a better understanding of the area's rich heritage.

It is considered as 8th wonder of the world . It was very good experience visiting here . It is a museum reflecting origin of sikhism and volunteers who took many steps for sikhism. It is not like other museums it was built different. There are different sound effects inside it with lighting. I consider it as best museum I visited till now. You must visit. Timing from 10 am to 4:30 pm . There is lot of space of parking.

A Very unique museum. Free entry to the museum. You guys only need to register at the counter and after getting the message on registered number, we can enter the museum. But the message can take upto 10 minutes to come, backend servers can be made better 😂. But all things apart it's a very unique architecture. A perfect example how we can preserve our history, showcase them and feel proud of our culture. You should go if your are interested in history and different cultures. You will love it.

The museum showcases the Khalsa's heritage and its influence on Punjab's history and culture. It also provides insight into the events that led to the birth of Sikhism and the Khalsa Panth 500 years ago..

⁉️🙆❤️💯It is a good architectural monument as well as a museum built in Anandpur sahib, Punjab. It is a place worth visiting with serene views and mind soothing views. Also, a wide range of Sikh culture is visualized in the museum, which offers us a lot to learn about th culture. And some shops are also available near exit where one can purchase various things linked to Sikh tradition. Its a beautiful museum of Sikh history. Amazing depiction of olden era as well as new. Light n sound effect inside the museum gives it an extra edge. Wax statues look so alive that it becomes tough to believe if they are not real people. Fantastic example of art and creativity. A must visit place. It should be 8th wonder of the world. Nice look of water, star room, internal hall's design music etc are awesome. You can visit with family and friends. Beautiful place surrounded by trees and when you enter the premises the lake they have made is also very beautiful. It's feels relaxed over there. Heart just want to sit there and admire the beauty around. Inside the building they showcase the full history of khalsa. Everything they represent looks alive.

Great effort to carry forward the history of our ancestors to the next generation. Amazing. Marvellous. One must visit there. Timings are 10 am to 4 pm . you have to take pass for entry , by showing your i'd etc. no mobile videography or pics allowed inside the museum . If someone found guilty his mobile phone handed over back by 6 pm. So be careful. But you can take pics outer side without any restrictions. A canteen is there at the ground floor. .@ No extra price . The whole area is Very well mannaged . history of Punjab, shown so beautifully. One must visit .

Nice place to visit. No need to buy an advance ticket. The place is so beautiful and I love to see all the history of Sikhism. So detailed history shown under this place. From the beginning of Sikhism to the present time. A divine aura is created under this building. I love to go here and i wish that everyone should visit one time.

This is probably one of the best campus in India. The museum is exceptionally well maintained and meticulously designed. Though 2 hrs drive from Chandigarh, it was worth every minute spent. The large mural was interesting but honestly the original art work of the artist in 2 D was much better. I was lucky to attend Orijit Sengupta's lecture which inspired me to visit this place and it was totally more than worth.

An abode of Sikh History. A must visit for all the Sikhs to ascertain with the Sikh History and the Culture and to teach ur kids about the same. The presentation has been done in an exceptional manner. The kind of effort and the vision of the creator of the Structure is marvelous. The incidents of the Sikh History has been briefed in detailed. Few photos i have taken are shared but it's only the 1 percentage of what is presented there. So take out some time and do visit this place. There is a ticket for the visit but as going with the Sikh culture of free services, the tickets are free.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD. You don't necessarily need to be a Sikh to visit this place, just PLEASE visit this once, the entry is free and you won't regret it! There was everything from wax statues to historical artefacts and from a model city with music to educational videos. I can't describe how good this place is, i was legit taken aback after entering. It's a very long walk so you might get tired but it totally worth it! You'd be amazed to see how realistic the wax statues are, I've been to 3 Madame Tussauds in different countries and this flawlessly matches their level and even beats them in certain ways. The realism in the statues is scary. They've even managed to recreate the creases that get formed on our ankles while walking, impeccable to say the least. Just trust me on this one, i can blindly recommend this place not only for the historical value but for the creativity and the wonderful experience of walking through rooms and finding something new and astounding as you pass. 100/10 recommended. One of the best places I've visited for sure. There are two places, one is more of a historical museum with various manuscripts and inscriptions and a detailed account of the Sikh movement and then there's the main building which houses all the interesting stuff that I just mentioned previously. You aren't allowed to use your phones and/or cameras in the main building however you can click photographs in the history museum, the buildings are adjacent and connected from inside and only 1 free ticket is required for both the buildings. I did manage to sneak in a few pictures but it wasn't allowed so pardon the picture quality. The photos of the manuscripts are from the history museum so it was easy to click those. AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE TO SAY THE LEAST.

Virasat-E-khalsa described the Sikhs history in creative way, some pics I have attached for overview but it's not sufficient for detailed information. Get some time to hangout here and explore. And people can visit the place with tickets (with specific time table) and it's free. Come with family and enjoy everything like music, 3D display, history (get knowledge) and many more. Location - near by Anandpur sahib

I went there approximately three year back with my aunt and cousins and we had great family time being there. It displays sikh's contribution towards India. Those mighty souls never turned back whenever the people called them. It widely displays all gurus contributions, their life stories, their huge hearts and great sacrifices. There is a lake, wax statues of sikh gurus, a huge vessel on which one of the gurus were seated and then burned (yes),last but not the least the entire place is fully air conditioned. With that being said I would love to recommend it to whosoever is visiting anandpur must give it a shot. Trust me it's worth spending your coin. Thanks for reading. Wish you a great day ahead!

Virasat-e-Khalsa is a museum of Sikhism, located in the holy town, Anandpur Sahib, near Chandigarh, the capital of the state of Punjab, India. The museum celebrates 500 years of the Sikh history and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Khalsa, based on the scriptures written by the tenth and last human guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. It serves to attract tourists and pilgrims. This results in a consultation between religion and emerging need in the building environment. The place is very good and knowledgeable. One who is interested in knowing the history of the Punjab must go and see it for sure. The ambience is amazing, the way in which this is displayed is just awe inspiring. The entire structure is surrounded by lush green parks and a small pond, which from a height looks very good. One visiting Naina Devi should and must plan to visit this also. It need almost 2 -3 hours to completely go through this place.

Virasat-e-Khalsa is a museum of Sikhism, located in the holy town, Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. One side it promotes hand crafts to locals as well as nurturing a sense of heritage, besides it recalls to infinity by the volumetric interference of existing skyline is another phase of a visible Urbanism dilemma.

Over all visit would no take more than 30-35 minutes so if you are passing by then you can surely take a halt. They have maintained the cleanliness and guards are very where to make sure that nobody captures anything. There is an entry pass which is free, ample park 20 rupees only. No photography allowed inside and I respect the rules hence, no inside photos.

This place is amazing. It is built in a good area. It will take 45 min to complete a tour but each and every thing done is so refreshing that you not even feel that you walking for 45 min and feel tired. Pictures are not allowed inside and this is realy best thing and it should not be allowed in future also. So that everyone will come and see hard work of people behind this amazing place. I haven't clicked any picture too to keep a decorum and norms. 🙏🙏

If you are born and brought up in Punjab and / or have studied Khalsa community in depth, only then visit this place and you will understand the concept of this place. Otherwise it will be like all pictures museum without any discription tags. Its all walking and no place to sit & enjoy the art work. 150 to 180 minutes of walking. No special treatment even if you buy paid tickets, better get into queues and get free pass to enter. No pictures allowed inside the premises. You cannot even enjoy taking pictures.

This place contains all the stories of all the Sikhs gurus in the form of pictorials representation. Any layman can understand the teachings of all the gurus at this site. The ticket 🎫 at this place is free of cost or for fast process buy at Rs 100/person. The experience at this was awesome. Love to come again at this place.

One beautiful Khalsa history experience. Though things have changed since COVID. One is not provided with the headsets and that kinda ruins the learning experience.

Only 1.5 kms from anandpur sahib gurdwara. You when you enter it's gate you feel like you have entered in a foreign country. Ample parking space. Well maintained parks. Only one cafe so do not expect great eateries. Ticket is free of charge just need to show I'd & is closed on Mondays. The structure is well built & cleanliness is out of this world. Outside you can see great structure surrounded by pool Inside is better than expected. Each tower has history of Sikhs from King era to their participation in freedom fight to modern era. Great place to visit for 5-6 hours. Photography isn't allowed inside the structure.

The walk through history of Punjab takes more than four hours. Beautifully organized inside. You have two options for tickets, one free plan to visit early in the morning. Secondly, there is a fee of INR 100 per person. There is a limit of 3 hours per visit which is too little. Very photogenic architecture. Photography and videography are not allowed inside, please respect this. This place is for those who want to experience a takeaway.

Amazing place to visit with friends and family. Only 20rs for parking. After taking the entry when you go inside you see all punjab around you. Through a variety of devices like diarmes, paintings, 3d interpretive structure the museum depicts the struggle, courage and sacrifice of punjabi culture especially sikh religion. Photography is not allowed inside. A must visit place.

Clean. Beautiful exhibits showing rich culture of Sikhism and Punjab. Although the sound system wasn't working/earphones were not provided. Only a few videos were shown and audible.

Everytime i visit this place, i am discovering something new, learning something new, feeling something new. Every new exhibition is something different from the last one. A beauty in its own way. Learning about our history leaves a mark in the mind, feels like a knife in the windpipe from all the sorrows that our ancestors experienced and we all are grateful to them.

Good experience. Very creative and innovative Saw it twice. But they don't guide you to take those audio gadgets. It's a incomplete experience without them. So one should ask for the audio gadget to explore this place at its best. The security peple are very nice and helpful. Very pleasant and calm place...3 hour journey...try wheelchairs for aged people.

Must Recommend! Virasat-e-Khalsa is a museum dedicated to the Sikh religion and its glorious history. The design of this museum resembles a fortress and is connected by a bridge from either side of the ravine. The smaller building, which is a complex situated on the west, comprises of a grand entrance plaza along with a library for research purposes.
