Just after crossing the river from the ferry and crossing small market upstairs, without turning left towards the town just walk straight you'll reach this beautiful sunset point which is filled up with amazing people around the world who are playing music have sips of tea or just lost in the trance of music or just smoke. You get to see the amazing city of Hampi from the top which will be sunkissed in the evening and look like a painting with beautiful farms, trees boulders and houses.

Its a forest area where you need to climb to the top in order to see the perfect sunset which is significance of the hampi.

If you are ever in Hampi, then you must go to this place. It a 10 minute hike to the top at maximum and the view is just amazing. You will see the a spectacular view of the town Hampi and nearby boulders along with the sun going down for the long night. It just really makes your evening. There is no other place better than this to watch this sunset.

Beautiful spot for a great sunrise. It tends to get busy but its worth if you are staying in Hippie Island. I loved it as I can see not only the sunset but also the beautiful and lush green rice fields.

Very difficult to reach by road & no definite path define to reach to top where the view is supposed to be good. After hippie Island closure this place is very isolated. Better go with some local or any one who know way around

It's good, you can sit and relax. People come there with there musical instruments and play. You can enjoy and if you know then u can play along with them.

A must sunset to attend if you are staying at Hippie Island. All the tourists gather here at the sunset. Artists with their instruments sing songs and tge whole atmosphere is truly mesmerizing.

Sun rise or sunset in hampi is worth everything! Heaven on earth!!

Nice place to visit in Hampi. Located on a hill top,accessible via a trail. You can park your car in a paid parking area (priced at 100/-) nearby if required, or try taking to the bottom of the hill. The only thing to look out for is the very narrow single lane road, spotted with loads of restaurants/guest houses and shops. There is a river near by where you get boats to access the ruins and tourist spots near by like Monolithic Ganesha, monolithic Nandi etc. But, you can also cover them via a direct road, if you are staying a Hospeth. Would recommend carrying loads of water as you only get local make water bottles in the area and you will be walking a lot. Have heard that tourists gather for a jamming session 5PM onwards.

The best part of all day was to see the sun setting from the hill top. Its near to Bobby's one love. U will mesmerize every bit of it at this hill top. U'll find many foreigners here sitting relaxing and making videos of this magnificent view.

Great spot for watching the sunset. It is very close to the main strip on hippie island in Hampi. The climb is easy and will take you approximately 5 odd mins to reach atop from where you can see most of the landscape. There are people singing and playing drums around sunset on many occasions. Will highly recommend checking out this spot if you are in Hampi

Long before I visited Hampi I knew it was potentially a great location to photograph sunset!Aaand hands down it was the BEST Sunset I've ever seen in my life! We had to climb 575 steps to get there. But trust me, it's totally worth it! That feeling is just unexplainable! Nature's beauty at it's best! 😍

Located on Hippie island. A short 5 min ride to this mini sized hill which seems to be popular amongst the climbers. Went on a Saturday which meant it had a fair share of crowd but there good vibes throughout and I really enjoyed my time there.

Very serene and beautiful sunset point on the hippie island. Absolutely worth the visit. A very basic trek up, barely 10mins. Amazing view of Virupaksha temple from atop the hill. The road leading up to the point is a little bumpy. But an absolute worth it.

It's lovely to watch people from different lands sitting on the rocks and watching together the sun going down.
