Overall a good experience. We had a late lunch here after 2pm. We were served fairly quickly. Both of us had the classic and meat Shaksukas. They turned out very nice, the sauce was spicy but not overly hot the accompanied chillies sauce was handy to give it more of a kick. The salads were complimentary and nice. For two of us the bill came to about 120 NIS.

This Yemeni place has awesome food and equally excellent service. The waiter was kind and friendly and explained the menu. When he found out I was visiting Israel for the first time, he came by to serve aome shots of arak on the house. A must visit.

Best food I had during my trip to Tel Aviv. Friendly service, cozy and hip interior, and reasonable prices. I tried the shawia over couscous and the kubaneh, a Yemeni bread usually baked for Shabbat.

Had the small triple plate which allows choice between a small portion of a main dish, a couple of salad options and a small hummus. I ordered the beans with meat and it was delicious - melt in your mouth and falling apart in well spiced sauce. The salad was very fresh and hummus was above average. The price was reasonable at 64 shekels including a soda water.

Great place to have delicious and authentic food! Service was friendly and prices were fair considering Tel Aviv :) I'd recommend having their famous bread with different dips!

Popular spot for affordable Yemenite food. Do expect a crowd for lunch time while dinner service is calmer. The staff were all really nice and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the beef stew!

Really good middle eastern dishes. The Saluf bread that is served with the shakshuka and some other dishes is just addictive. You should definitely try the Malawach if you haven’t had that before. Super positively surprised by how “cheap” the prices are.

Trendy small restaurant that serves Israeli Yemeni food. Casual seating and friendly service, so it's a great place to meet up with friends. The food was very tasty, especially the hummus topped with flavoursome chunky beef and accompanied by fresh chopped vegetables salad and treditional Yemeni bread which was really tasty. Reasonable prices, great vibe and lots of interesting dishes on the menu, lots of options for vegetarians as well. We really enjoyed our visit.

I didn't know food could taste like this. My first meal in Israel and the kind waiter Yuron was great. I had the eggs on dough and wife had the lentil soup. We finished everything they gave us, just completely delicious. The condiments provided were indeed extremely spicy. I'm glad we stoked by. The wall of currencies is also quite cool. We paid about 70 nis for two meals, but brought our own water. This place is rated as one "$" on Google, but seemed a little pricy for that rating. Nonetheless definitely stop by.

Excellent Yemini food with friendly service. The slow cooked beef soup is the thing to get. There are plenty of gluten-free options on the menu.

The food feels homemade and delicious. I'm so glad to have encountered this amazing restaurant. I have received the best service at a restaurant in this place. The waitresses were absolutely wonderful. Kind, helpful and attentive. This is the first restaurant in Israel that has provided such a great food, quality and service experience. Absolutely recommend and would definitely come back.

The best food in Tel Aviv! The chef in the picture was the most welcoming and friendly person even though he was serving non-stop for more customers at the same time. The food was fresh and tremendously delicious! I would come back again and again!

Consistent, reasonably priced home food. Their specialty salad with cabbage and sesame is particularly note worthy. They also have a great lunch special that lets you sample several things.

Best place we ate in Israel so far! Highly recommended. If you are around, don't hesitate to come here. We had beef stew and beef kebab, and additionally, we got a shakshuka. I couldn't say which one I liked the most.

Yemen restaurant in the heart of the Levinsky market Neighborhood in Tel Aviv. Fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the area. Service is good, food is fresh. They serve certain dishes at a cheaper price until 8pm. Get ready for a shot of arak on the house !

The food is very tasty, good atmosphere! I would give 5 but In my opinion, the price is a bit expensive relative to the quality of the food and the location. I asked for extra coriander and have been refused 😞

At first it was really tasty, but after several hours stomach got very upset and it still lasts. We ate with my husband on October 19th and now suffer together. Check food quality

Delicious food. My mind was blown by the sabich, hummus and shakshuka. This Yemenite food place with the emphasis on dough. No matter what you order you cannot go wrong. The vibe is amazing, the staff is very friendly and the wait was not too long! Loved it and will highly recommend it.

Great food - we had Hummus with Shawia & Shawia in a Pita ... Great atmosphere. Very fair prices... It was crowded, but totally worth waiting a few minutes until we got some seats - in the meanwhile we were offered some small Maccabi beer. Anyway - we enjoyed this place a lot and will come back and try different kind of dishes.

The highlight of our Tel Aviv trip has been consistently good food, every single meal, and Saluf and Sons is no exception. It’s been a stand-out experience and we will go back at least one more time before we leave! Excellent food. Highly recommend. Edit: We did indeed go back to Saluf & Sons a second time before we left Israel and it was exceptional, as expected. Dishes we had (and would recommend): ⭐️ Kubbane with dips ⭐️ Feta cheese with za’atar and olive oil ⭐️ Hummus with Shawia ⭐️ Shawia stew ⭐️ Yemeni malawach wrap

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
