I had a great stay at Dave Levinsky - Son of a brown hotel in Tel Aviv. Located in a really good and strategy area in the middle of many restaurants and coffeeshops, few minutes away from Florentin, Levinbsky, Carmel Market and 20 min walk from the beach. My room 301 was tiny but clean. Really comfy bed and dark space which made my nights sleep amazing. The majority of the staff is nice, friendly and welcoming. I found 2 bottles of waters and a bottle of wine at check-in in my room but no fridge, just fyi. Safety lock in each room. There is a rooftop on the 4th floor. Tea and coffee available t the reception. You can reach Ha Hagana train station in 20 min walk or 5-10 min cab. GETT is the app you will need to use taxi in Israel. If you need a supermarket, there is one just next door.

Great place. Rooms are small, but very stilish. Location is unbeatable. They offer comolimentary beer or coffee as soon as you walk in. The hotel is. Very nicely decorated, all staff members are young, cool and super friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is the best in tel aviv, full of bars an restaurants. The best area in town. If you want to open a big suitcase, you will have to do it on the bed, since space in the rooms is limited, but you have everything you need. Even complimentary wine. Bathrooms are good, shower and water pressure is great. Bed is very confortable also. 10/10 recommend.

Pros: New hotel, staff are really friendly and nice, kind and helpful. Convenient location for main tourist attractions and trains and bus stations (15-20 mins walk away) Cons: walls are very thin - you can hear the TV and conversations from your neighbours room. Bring ear plugs! No amenities on site, however they provide breakfast at local cafes and you can purchase access to a local gym. The cafes are really delicious however only start serving at 8:30. Area was ok, however all locals said it’s not a ‘nice’ area.

Nice hotel, loved the design of the rooms, receptionist was very nice at check in she explained us what's around to do. Small lobby no real space to sit down. Great value for the price. Only thing when it came to check out someone knocked on our door 12:02 that we are late and we need to check out at 12:00 And when we checked in we were told we can check out until 12:30.

I love love love this hotel! Staff is so helpfull and friendly. Nothing is asked to much. Rooms are small, but so is the price. Stylish decorated boutique hotel, with the best beds and cussions. A treat to get "home" to after wandering the beaches and streets of Tel Aviv. Your own little comfortable cave, with every day a made up bed and fresh towels. The big bottles of toiletries, rooftop terras with jacuzzy and beach beds. Whenever again in Tel Aviv I will sure be back. Thumbs up for you Dave Levinsky team 👍🏻

I stayed here in January and didn't have my visa on hand to show that my stay was exempt from VAT. The staff told me I should just pay the VAT for now, send in the visa later and would be reimbursed. I've now been chasing the hotel for over 6 months for the reimbursement, ridiculous.

Don't be lured by the good reviews - do yourself a favor and stay away! Zero customer service!! We chose Dave Levinsky based on its positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not match these reviews. Air conditioning: The room's thermostat stopped working in the middle of the night. Despite reporting this problem to multiple staff members, it took two nights before we were moved to another room. This persistent disturbance greatly impacted our sleep. Poor, low-quality service: Additional troubles reflected poor service, too. For instance, we requested a wake-up call on the first night, which never occurred. We also encountered difficulties when seeking recommendations for activities and restaurants from some staff members. Lack of response. We shared this feedback with the hotel on multiple occasions, via emails and telephone conversations. Despite this many attempts and the three months that passed, we received no response. No response, zero service, no accountability. There are plenty of superior options in Tel Aviv.

Location is good and staff nice, coffee and beer is great at the small lobby. But i was disappointed with the cleaning, the lift and decor were shabby, hallway narrow, room was small and the floor and windows dirty, we could hear the street noise all night and it was very loud. For 1000 shekels a night it wasnt cheap but we would pay more for a better place next time.

It’s just not nice. Of all the hotels you could possibly choose in Tel Aviv, there is no reason to stay here. If your argument is price, don’t mention it, there are too many nicer places of the same or a lower price! 1 Star for a comfortable bed, another star for the nice female cleaners. The photos are of the state of the showers.

Great hotel & location and Izzy was great. There was also another lady super friendly and helpful too. One of the guys at reception was quite unfriendly almost comical as he could not be bothered at all. Our room was by the lift and it was a bit noisy but it did not bother us at night.

It’s a really great hotel for the price. Friendly welcoming staff. Helpful over the phone and when we arrived they had cold iced beer was waiting for us at the lobby and a tasty red wine in the rooms. Location is great too. Will come back

We really enjoyed out stay in this hotel. The staff was always very nice, friendly and helpful. The location is right in the middle of things. We liked the design of the hotel and the rooms, and we found the rooftop terrace a great place to relax.

A good experience with caveats. Staff was welcoming and friendly, location is brilliant and the place has character. Minor issues with maintenance in the bathroom and slight neglect of roof terrace. Biggest issue: noise. Not from the street but indoors. This must have been the hotel with the worst soundproofed doors I’ve ever stayed at. Every movement or conversation on the corridor is amplified due to the architecture of the building. And with no soundproofing this is all beamed straight into your room. If you book: make sure you’re at least the farthest away from the lift and steps.

Great location, near to the best nightlife spots the beach and the main station Hanaga. Everything was fresh and clean. Fridge and air conditioner working fine. Nice and kind staff, especially Rafaelo e Noah. I highly recommend this place. Note: free beers!!!

Great location, service is pretty non-existent, rooms are funky but tiny. Pros: Location Air-conditioning Good wi-fi Cons: No coffee in room No ironing facilities in room Breakfast not offered at hotel Poor service Very noisy rooms, construction work outside can be heard in the room even at 2am

Stayed for 10 days. Noa and other staff kindly engaged with me to resolve issues (dirty first room, ongoing cleaning issues after that, unclear advice and complexity around changing the no. of people on the booking). Rooms are looking a bit tired - especially the peeling wallpaper. Great roof and beers a nice touch, and the bed / linens was really nice. But overall it was not a welcoming place. And the (late) guidance around the national holidays was hopeless. If I worked in that tiny reception on the small stool bent over a laptop I wouldn't be happy either to be honest - the hotel chain needs to give its team a more healthy and comfortable working set up. PS. the yoga shouldn't be on this listing - its in a different hotel half an hour away, on a roof full of people drinking in bubble bath hot tubs...!

We had such a lovely three days at the Dave Levinsky. The rooms (although not huge) are very well laid out and in great condition. The beds are very comfortable and it's nice and quiet which is great. The rooftop is amazing and even in January was cool - I bet this is even better in summer! Above all though, all the staff (but particularly Alex) were so helpful and friendly... it makes such a difference! We would 100% stay here again if ever on Tel Aviv and certainly recommend

We stayed there for 5 nights and everything was perfect. The room was nice and cosy. Bed really confortable as well. The staff is so helpful especially Noa that bent over backwards to help us sorting things out with our flying company issues. Finally, location is great as it is minutes away from the best clubs/bars in town (Teder.FM, Sputnik Bar, Kuli Alma and Drama)

Room was nice, great location. Staff was not very welcoming (no hello, very unhappy to be disturbed when guests walk into reception) and on Sunday morning (which I know is a working day in Israel) maids were banging doors and talking loudly in the hallway, not very interested in stopping even after we got out in our pajamas asking for a bit of silence. Room = good, service = not really

This hotel si probably the best well located hotel in Tel Aviv. You have all the most cool bar/club and restaurant just around you and the level of service is outstanding and h24! Loved everything! Super clean, friendly and cool

My mum and I visited Tel Aviv during a very rainy and (relatively) cold week in December 2019 and had the best experience with the Dave! The staff went to great lengths to make sure we had the best time both at the hotel and around Tel Aviv. The hotel itself is located close to Levinsky market and within walking distance to some lovely neighborhoods. Breakfast is served in two amazing, local cafés (Café Kaymak & Tony and Esther) very close to the hotel, and while we initially didn't buy any breakfast coupons, we ended up going there every day! All in all, we warmly recommend the Dave for traveling to Tel Aviv alone or in company, whether you've already been to Tel Aviv, or not. Thanks Alex & the Dave for all the local and personal recommendations and the great company during the most rainy days! Sabrina & mum

Great location, super service. Just perfect for what we wanted. Everything is clean, there is a fun space on the roof and treats in the reception area. Would love to go back for a longer stay.

We had a great stay at Dave Levinsky, without a doubt recommended. The hotel and room are well designed, the local brand of the toilet amenities is amazing and the staff are all friendly and willing to make your stay pleasant. Shout out to Alex and the team. Best location to enjoy the city of Tel Aviv, until next time!

A perfect example of how smart planning and design can overcome lack of space! Loved the fun and artistic atmosphere, the well maintained amenities and the heartful hospitality - wonderful! Only thing I would improve is to allow more light in the room (if one wishes it...)

Great location, close to restaurants, Levinsky Market and Rothschild’s Avenue. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable (not very big, but no issues there). Rooftop bar gives a great view over the city and during sunset. Would definitely recommend!

Choose the bigger room, if you can, and you will be happy. The hotel is at a very good location, close to the shuttle bus stop from the airport and about 15-min walk from the main railway and bus stations. Service is great. People working in this hotel are all excellent. Very polite, very helpful, welcoming you back with a bottle of beer, a glass of arak, certainly coffee, and a nice chat. Recommended.

This boutique hotel is quite new so everything looks fresh. Very warm welcome with drinks and some nuts upon arrival. Our room was small but tastefully decorated with everything that you need. Location is central, quite near the Rotschild Avenue and other fun and eating places. It has also a rooftop terrace with a bar and a jacuzzi. Highly recommend this place.
