😠 I cannot recommend Paul's Cafe. Definitely not a hidden gem. For many years, I gave this place too many chances because I knew the coffee beans were decent. However, the staff are just so angry that it's unjustifiable. Go to Caffe Tamati for much better coffee, and a much better experience. People often mention coffee, good, great, service,

Cozy cafe in the middle of busy area. The menu is not long, but has just enough options for everyone. Breakfast is great, but don’t forget to leave some room for dessert- it’s home-made, and lemon-merengue pie is a must. Ground coffee and beans could be purchased here as well. Laptops are forbidden, so don’t think of it as a co-working spot

If you enjoy being insulted and ridiculed by unbelievably rude and arrogant waitstaff, then this is the place for you. And not only foreigners either: our Israeli friends we were with suffered the same fate. A pity as the food is really good. A shame the staff can’t behave: time for charm and hospitality school!

Amazing quality of coffee and desserts!! We are only disappointed that we found it through friends on our last day and couldn't return again to try more! We highly recommend the ice coffee, chocolate truffles, lemon meringue pie, apple tarte tatin, and best cheesecake we've ever had (including NYC). Personal service, lovely ambience and sweet music, including the American jazz classic that was our wedding song. This is our first stop when we return to Israel!

Mixed feelings. The coffee was good and so was the food. However, there is this sense of neglect and an overall air of messieness and apathy to everything related to the customer experience... Then again, it might be a feature - the unique character of the place...

Sadly, the place is not vegan friendly. There are almost none Vegan options on the menu, and non-dairy milk costs an addition of 2 NIS which is something you barely see these days. The service was slow since there was only a single person working at busy evening times. The coffee was very good and professional.

We went to Cafe Paul's because of the good reviews and it was definately worth the walk! We had the tabouleh, labneh and the chicken sandwich and everything was awesome. Also the host was very friendly and he took a lot of time to explain everything, since everything was in Hebrew. The place is very cosy and the vibe is very nice and friendly. We loved it.

the.best.cafe.in.Jaffa covid has moved many of the signature dishes to plastic-enclosed takeaway form, but other than that it’s still awesome. The coffee is awesome, coffee + tart tatine is awesomer.

One of the hidden gems of Yafo. Very high-quality coffee and always-excellent food for reasonable prices you never find in Tel Aviv. I recommend the pecorino sandwich or the home-made pastrami sandwich with caramelized onions. For dessert, try the cheesecake or the lemon meringue pie. Pecan pie is also great. You will not be disappointed! As some reviewers mentioned, the customer service here can be an emotional roller coaster, but as long as you're patient and don't take it personally, you will be rewarded with delicious treats and an authentic local experience.

One of the best coffee places in the Tel Aviv area. Great, simple Mediterranean food with an Italian touch. Can get pretty crowded and service may be slow but it worth it

Great coffee spot with wonderful food. The person running the counter was patient with us and explained everything on the menu. The espresso was also very good!

Coffee is bad. Even the glorious cheese cake that I was especially coming for, is not that great anymore.

When the person running the shift is grumpy and offers lousy service, I just leave and give the lowest ranking. If they do not care, why should I?

Salmon was old and hard, the tahini was old too. Coffee was good

It's cozy looking, overpriced, but the main dissapointment (a repeated experience, that's why I'm writing) is amazingly rude service. Short, abrupt answers in a tone that suggests that both the owner and the waiter are very tired from you asking questions. No, they don't have that. What do you want??

Everything here was fresh and delicious! The shakshuka and cheesecake were outstanding. The cheese pesto toast and salads are not to be missed, too.

The best place in Tel Aviv Jaffa. A unique experience, great food and coffee. The people working there are legends.

Unique warm place in a heart of Jaffa. With a little patience (when busy) you’ll get one of the best coffee cups in Tel Aviv. The food is fresh, healthy and super tasty! Don’t miss the Sabres Labaneh and the Tzaziki.
